Rude staff and management who were more interested in their phones than serving customers . Poor attitude from the staff we encountered and management seemed to let them do whatever they wanted. Our food was good but our experience was ruined by the attitude of staff members who looked like they didn’t want to be there and had no idea of how to speak to customers. Long waits between us sitting down at our table to staff taking our orders to our food coming out because they were constantly on their phones. Because of this we would not return.

Had a fabulous meal as a family of 5 after Halloween Trail at Kew, they were ran off their feet as busier than the usual Monday but the food was fantastic, everyone cleared their plates, the service was brilliant and so friendly. We will definitely return when we are next in London. Thank you

We had dinner with friends tonight. The service was awful, we ordered food and we then had to wait for an hour even though the restaurant was pretty empty, the girl was supposed serve our table did totally forgot us, not starter, nibble or even bread was brought to us not asked if we wanted something. When the food arrived it was not great: steaks and the burger were below the average but the thing was totally unacceptable and not edible was the tuna steak, overcooked, gummy and tasting funny like there was sugar to cover the bad taste .., it is a shame as we went 3 weeks ago and it was good … for sure after tonight visit we would never suggest someone to go and probably we won’t come back any time soon

I was really looking forward to coming here, but found the pies had little flavour, was expensive to add things to the dish such as veg or mash. My pie was not warm at all and was really disappointed, staff were not helpful and chairs and tables were not comtortable.

We stopped by here for beer after the Natural History Museum. What a gem of a find. We had a few pints, did a spot of shopping, and headed back for dinner. I'm so glad we did. The food was amazing. The service was great. Good beers, great food. Do yourself a favour if you are in the neighbourhood stop by you won't be disappointed.

Another great place serving Sri Lankan food in London. Splendid flavours, sizeable portions, and more than reasonable prices. Will definitely return if in the area again.Another great place serving Sri Lankan food in London. Splendid flavours, sizeable portions, and more than reasonable prices. An excellent pub to do some dining! The service was impeccable, and the food absolutely delicious. They even give everyone a complimentary soup to start, which was soooooo yum we wanted to order more. Definitely recommend! A little on the pricier side but you get what you pay for.

Bad food. Loooong wait both for drinks and food. Waiter (owner I was told) got 2 meals wrong. Brought calamari fritti for my husband and I which he never ordered in his life and I can't stand them as they are like rubber in the UK so would never have ordered that. Waiter insisted I did, not once but 3x! My husband actually asked for whitebait! My husband ordered calf's liver as a main which is soft and succulent in France, Germany and Greec etc. It was thin and like shoe leather. It is supposed to go into a hot pan, then turned over after a few seconds and taken out of pan - served. This is what it should be like "A classic of British cooking, Calf's Liver is succulently tender and fine-grained with a deliciously mild, sweet flavour. More and more people are discovering the delicious flavour of Calf's Liver due to its place on the menus.« I took it home to give to the dog and foxes!! My friend next to me (we were 13) ordered meatballs which were so salty she couldn't eat them. Another lady didn't like how the fish was done. It was mediocre. MY mussels had anorexia. I have photos. They were non existent or if there was one in the shell, it didn't measure more than 5mm. 20 were empty and the sauce was not nice. Obvs they were not fresh mussels, they were cooked already and just heated up. Lots and lots of small broken shells in the sauce. Must have been the last dregs. Just as well I didn't swallow one of the shards. Will I go back? No, I'll go to a real Italian restaurant next time. Bragging about an Italian chef! He needs to go on a cookery course IN ITALY! I lived, ate and cooked there. I know what Italian food is supposed to taste like!!!!! And sooo expensive.
