I've been here for 30 min and just finally got a mimosa. Waiting for waiter so I can order. More after I eat (If it's within the next hour!!!!!)

Not impressive to be honest. Nice staff and atmosphere but the food was mediocre. OK but a little “boring” meet, a timble of sauce and no love it the serving. Had the meat been as hot as the wine it would have helped :-). Go there for the atmosphere. Not the food.

Absolutely perfect! The food was the best we have experienced our entire stay. You might think the staff knew you were coming and knew everything you liked to eat. Such a friendly place, great atmosphere and the food was absolutely perfect. Our darling Server made us feel so welcomed, I wish I could remember her name. From the moment the young man seated us, the service was above and beyond. If we ever get back to London, this will be our go to place.

We went on a Saturday evening and have been in many occasions over the years. It was about 8 so not too busy. Very good waitress. Took orders for the table. Then we waited starters. Zucchini fritters were soggy. Padron peppers out of the plate only 2 cooked enough to eat. Then we waited for so long for mains we could have gone for a walk. Please note it was not that busy. After 40 minutes mains. Moule where cold had to go back. Burger and this a meat restaurant was hard and over cooked. We asked for medium rare. Taken off bill 1 moule and one burger. This not a cheap cafe. This is supposed to be a steak house with standards. I don't know who is employing the food operatives on job experience but it needs to stop at these prices as it is unacceptable to have to send back most of the order . Sort yourselves out. Very very very poor. Please note i am a trained chef and have run kitchens for high net worth establishments.

Horrendous service. It took 10 mins for them to even give us menus. At least give us water while you ignore us. It wasn't even busy tonight. They're just bad at their jobs.

Overall, a very enjoyable dinner with three of my oldest friends. We probably stayed a little bit too long as the staff were packing up, but were encouraged to do so after being served exceptional food that is reasonably priced for this part of Chelsea and as a local I am very happy that I have somewhere I can return to more often. The ribeye steak, burger and calamari to start was first rate and there didn’t seem to be a single dish my dining companions didn’t enjoy. When we arrived, our group of four was initially going to be seated at an enormous table that seemed designed for about 8 people and when we questioned this, we were offered a table that seemed too much of a squeeze but this was quickly resolved by (I believe) a more senior waiter or possibly the manager who stepped in to save the day and said she’d move us as soon as something more appropriate opened up, which she did (we had booked over a month ago). If I’m honest, I also still don’t *get* customers having to queue at the door where there is a desk when there is a welcoming bar and bar area at the front left hand side of the restaurant where customers could communicate their reservations details more comfortably but at least the desk was manned this time which avoided a long-ish wait to be seated in a draughty entrance or the street .

Been away from London for some years and Sophie's was the first pick. It has stood the test of time and happy to report that my experience there was just as delicious and amazing as every other time in the years prior. Nothing has changed and I'm glad to say that. We were served by the bubbly and energetic Joe who was professional, engaging, fun and prompt. Cannot believe he's only been there a month and practically running the show on a busy Friday night. We had the cote de boeuf with both sauces and every bite was absolute heaven. Cannot wait to be back for more. This place is great for meeting up with friends, dates and laid back business catch-ups.

Great experience with friends, John, Gabby, Freya and Amelia were all amazing honestly. I’m 100% coming back here next time. Great time

Thank you Sophie for bringing back the beloved Sophie’s steak sauce and arranging for us to get some for home use. For anyone that hasn’t tried Sophie’s Steakhouse or it’s amazing steak sauce before you’ve been missing out! Sophie, hopefully there’ll be a distribution option soon so we can order more - it should be available in every UK store in my humble option with how good it is. The best rump steak I've ever eaten and the price was even better. Delicious fries and great sides on offer. Value for money and lovely service from intelligent attentive happy staff.

Very disappointing Sunday night dinner. Beef and lamb were not good and the roast potatoes and vegetables were just warm. Lovely server but disappointing meal. Would not recommend.

We had previously been to the Sophie's Steakhouse in Soho, which is very large and very active. This restaurant is much smaller, with a laid back, friendly atmosphere. We had a great meal and of course the Porterhouse steak we shared was magnificent! it being Wednesday, we too advantage of Martini Madness and had some lovely cocktails to start and two excellent Espresso Martinis to finish!

Unfortunately the quality is decadent. We shared a porterhouse but the quality of the meat was simply poor moreover for £95. The meat was not marbled at all and not tender. I guess they only care about the margin. The service was also slow and medium but now it’s becoming recurring since brexit.

We’ve been loyal fans of Sophie’s Steakhouse for over 15yrs and although we love the atmosphere at the newer Soho location the new menu of shared steaks only isn’t an improvement. The ordering was confusing by not having individual cuts as an option and only came with 1 side and 1 sauce whereas 3 of us were sharing. Please Sophie bring back the traditional menu with much more straightforward options as you risk putting off your very loyal customer base. Also, I know the factory that made Sophie’s steak sauce shut down but please if you can ever also bring back the bottled steak sauces which we used to buy in droves that would also be a dream come true. Hope this feedback helps from one of your long term loyal customers.

Wow, what a way to i treat customers. Booked table for the whole family at Sophies in september for december 24th and booking was approved by Sophies. Now the restaurant calls me two days before the reservation date and cancels. What a extemely unprofessional and respectless way to treat customers.

Good atmosphere inside but the food wasn’t a dining experience. The starters of chicken wings looked as if they were from the freezer, the duck parfait was very salty and despite raising this with the waitress it was still on the bill. The filet steak was just ok, under seasoned and not a plump and juicy piece of meat, way over priced for what you get! All served in cold plates so the sauce was cold as soon as you poured it on. This place needs a serious overhaul of standards as it was below what we expect at this price level. Food quality was pub grub, not steakhouse restaurant. Good wine selection but again all over priced. At £188 for two people with two bottles of Malbec we thought this was not good value and rated this place only 5/10.

Visited for the first time with a friend on a Monday night, which meant 50% off martinis - their lychee ones are amazing! The rump steak was cooked to perfection, and side salads fresh. Friendly staff, loved it!

It was six of us in total and we all enjoyed our meal very much. We were celebrating my wife's Mum's birthday. I personally indulged a lot.

My partner and I visited Sophie’s - Chelsea for a belated birthday trip last month. The restaurant was lovely and so were the staff. The food was cooked to perfection and was a reasonably good price too. Would 100% come back and recommend to anyone thinking about going.

I had a rump steak with mac and cheese and courgette which was above average. However, what really made the evening was our lovely server whose name I think was Mariam. She had the warmest smile and explained the menu to us so well. Made the night! Thanks very much Sophie’s x

Me and my girlfriends had an amazing time there before the Coldplay concert. We had steak and frites Prosecco and many drinks and the best brownie ever! Alessandra, our waiter, was very professional and friendly. We'll definitely go back there.

The food was great - the service was great - the tables make space - the lighting was cool. Perfect!

Sophie’s Steakhouse & Bar is located on the Fulham Road. It’s a good spot to sit outside and watch the world go past. We sis not eat but the food looked good. Service also good.

Would highly recommend. Was slightly anxious going here alone. Didn’t need to worry, it was early evening and quiet. The staff were so welcoming and made me feel very much at ease. The food was superb. Crispy squid with paprika and aioli dressing was beautifully...

Been visiting Sophie’s Steakhouse for over 15 years now and it was my first time back since the summer. I’d walked past many times in recent weeks intending to visit during tiresome Veganuary so I jumped at the opportunity to have a relaxed dinner there...

I ate the pizza and calamari it was good great staff great environment I would recommend this place.

Visited this restaurant for a dinner. The decor is great with a modern vibe. The service is friendly. The menu is a meat eater's smorgasboard. The food quality (although pricey) is high. If you like meat this restaurant will suit you nicely.

Food was nice but not hot. Service was terrible and we were charged £22 for a tip. Staff were happy to ignore our table and when we did get someone’s attention it took 10-15 minutes before they came back with a drink. (If they remembered)...

Went for an impromptu meal and it was fantastic. Staff were great, food was delicious, atmosphere was perfect.

We arrived at 7.50pm for an 8pm reservation and were told our table wasn’t ready. Ok fine, I said we were happy to wait outside but they offered us a small table near the bar. I was under the impression we would be seated there...

Went to Sophie’s for a celebratory dinner after running the London Marathon. Probably the best steak I’ve eaten for ages, the starters, sides, desserts and cocktails were all fantastic as well. Love that you could order a 375ml carafe of any wine on the list, perfect for just two of us. The staff were friendly and efficient and the atmosphere was cosy and relaxed. Wonderful night out. Not cheap but great value for the quality of the food and the experience.

Is ok!! Was much better when first started going there 5 years ago! They are well established so obviously will keep trading well regardless Everywhere peaks The real skill is maintaining that high quality and standard!

One of the best meals out we have had. Porterhouse steak was incredible, lovely atmosphere and setting with brilliant service.

Visited on a Monday to try their all you can eat beef ribs. Was not disappointed, the ribs had been slow cooked to perfection and served covered in bbq sauce. Also had a house martini and this too was perfect. I would highly recommend this venue.

Good atmosphere but that was about it. Service took forever and when i ordered the 36oz steak there is no way on gods green earth that was the size of the steak. Ordered the bbq ribs on the side which were horribly sweet and quite stringy. It’s a shame as it’s just down the road for me but for the price awful value for money. You could get a steak almost double the size at zelmens or hawksmoor which are equally good in terms of the steak. It was good steak (what was there of it) I should add but hugely miss sold and a real shame.

My girlfriend and I went last night for the £10 All-you-can-eat Ribs - we couldn’t believe how good the value for money was!! The ribs were really tasty - managed to get through a few portions. The cocktails were 50% off and a massive hit with my girlfriend - she loved the chilli martini. Our waitress was super diligent and friendly, and made sure we had a great night despite how busy it was.We hope to be back Post-Lockdown!

A long standing local favourite - still going strong!Visited Monday for the Pork Ribs and the restaurant was a busy as always. We were offered a spot at the bar which ended up being a great experience. The barman who tookOur orders was very attentive and friendly whilst making cocktails. The ribs took a while to arrive but when they did were divine! Great vibe as always and pleasant music and atmosphere. Will be back again ‘when this is all over’!!

Arrived at 19:15 for the Beef BBQ Ribs,told no more beef ribs left!,but could have pork instead.First rack arrived after +45 mins (kitchen seemed to be very slow,staff very apologetic) Quality was OK,further racks were small and of poor quality!! The special with the Ribs seems to be a "rip-off" just to get people into the restaurant.A pity for a restaurant in these times.Hope you step up your Game when you reopen again!!!!

A bit let down by the homemade chips but the ribeye was nice and tender. The calamari starter melted in your mouth and not at all rubbery. It’s a bit of a loud room but great place to unwind after a long week.

Rib of offer got a table book for 7.30 and told the rib offer is finish (eat as much as you can) after we have sat down they open at 5pm, travel for 45 min to get to Fulham from Beckenham, very disappointed , how could they possibly run out with service starting at 5pm and the restaurant was not full and not everyone have ordered the rib, spoke to other customers who was not happy as they was told one portion per customer only !Had no choice but to eat here could not book anywhere else in time and be out by 10 because of COVID-19The offer was to trick customersI have use Sophie for many years and won’t now in the future

They have specials on the board and they are worth looking out for. The Martini's on a deal were great and after very good Buttermilk Chicken Wings we went for a Porterhouse Steak between two. Sometimes this can be difficult to cook rare, but this was a high quality cut and cooked to perfection. Very personable staff made for a great night.

Had a lovely Sunday lunch with the family, the roast in particular was very good value for money and I highly recommend! The team were very welcoming and are working extremely hard considering the current climate - will happily visit again :)

The food was ok but unjustifiably expensive.The service was extremely poor though. Had to wait 20mins for a pint, an espresso martini that we ordered never arrived and the staff didn't seem to care.The steak size was not mentioned on the cuts board as well which was odd. I won't return - there are better options in the area.

Sophie's siempre está animada y su comida y cócteles son geniales. Una mesa en la ventana o afuera en la acera es lo mejor. No soy muy aficionado al bistec y esta vez probé el fishcake de salmón y eneldo y estaba delicioso. Mi hija comió la hamburguesa que también disfrutó muchísimo.

Whenever me and my friend visit Sophie’s Mihai is always friendly and serves us the best drinks. He’s an amazing waiter, very attentive and gives great customer service. He’s a credit to the establishment and our visits wouldn’t be the same without him:)

Great food and atmosphere. It was my first time and I was very pleased with my experience. Very welcoming people especially Mihai who was helpful, attentive and full of smiles. Would recommend the sticky toffee dessert to finish off. Hope to be going there again :)

I came here to eat with my friend two nights ago, was really looking forward to it. I arrived and had a cocktail on my own, which was perfectly nice, pricey, but not beyond what you'd expect for the Kings Road. We were then seated, by a nice waitress who was brunette. I asked if I could charge my phone, and she said that was fine and took it behind the bar. We ordered food, and my mussels arrived with grit, in a completely tasteless sauce which could have been milk, and lukewarm. The waitress also at this point changed, to a tall woman with short blonde hair, who LITERALLY eye-rolled and huffed when we asked to order anything. She looked me up and down numerous times judging my attire, and was even whispering to a male member of staff about my friend and I, quite obviously. When we went out for a cigarette, and I asked to borrow some matches, the bartender said to this blonde waitress, 'See, I told you they weren't going out to smoke a spliff'.When the meal ended, I did not complain about the terrible food, I asked as politely to have my phone back. The blonde waitress LITERALLY rolled her eyes into the back of her head, looked me up and down and said 'ughhhhh', then stormed off. I literally felt like crying I felt so judged, like I must have worn the wrong clothes to the restaurant or something. When she returned it, she slammed it down and it had not been put onto charge at all, just left behind the bar. I really feel like for the enormous price the bill came to, I should not have left feeling judged, not good enough for the establishment, accused of doing drugs which I would not dream of doing, and looked down upon. I really was appalled.

On arrival my husband and I were taken to the back near the kitchen to a table clearly for 6 people. It was very bright next to the kitchen, but the worst thing was that the whole seat and table were shaking and vibrating. We mentioned this to the staff, who offered no explanation, but simply moved us to another table.Once that was sorted the service was great and friendly, the food was delicious. We shared a sirloin on the bone, which was cooked to perfection. The wine list is fantastic and the side dishes were equally pleasing. The only other comment was that the creamed spinach was a very tiny portion. All in all we really enjoyed the night and the food.

We have been here before and always have the best service.I had the chicken which was lovely,the rest of the group had various steak.They all agreed that it was delicious,also you have to have the burnt cheesecake.We come to London on business a good few times a year and always come back to Sophie’s

This restaurant is opposite my office and is basically my go to/canteen spot. The menu is simple but you want everything on it...the staff are super kind/friendly/accommodating. The decor is kind of NYC urban chic. Well worth a trip...pre CFC match. Perfect.

Today I felt like having a steak and stopped at one of my favourite restaurants, Sophie's. As usual, my meal which was the Steak Frites, was very delicious. This was accompanied by a glass of house red wine, which was also very good. The service was great as ever. However, I had an added bonus today. I was attended to by Sophie herself. It was very good to catch up with her as my wife and I met her when Sophie's was newly opened, many years ago.

Once upon a time Sophie’s was a good place. This last experience was extremely disappointing. Service was average and this is the good news. The rest? Well, 70£ for an overcooked and tasteless porterhouse steak, frozen and hardly cooked fries. 20mins to get a beer...i loved that place, massively over-valued now. Only one certainty: even for a free meal, I will not take the risk to go there anymore...i had to put a 1 as a valuation. It was even far too high

I used to go to this restaurant years ago when I was working in Chelsea. This was the first time back after 5 years. Quality of steaks is unbelievable and service friendly as always. After this long I still dont think i found better steak than theirs.

On taking trip to London we thought we would like to go to an authentic steak house restaurant. Google search suggested this one close to where we were staying would be good. However we were really disappointed. The service was really slow, shoddy and unprofessional, the restaurant was very well used, not smart at all, and the toilets were quite frankly disgusting. We were hoping the children were going to have the roast of the day as the online menu suggested but were told on arrival that there was no roast available. The food was just about passable, but I ordered my fillet steak medium and it came out rare and I ordered a glass of house red wine and it tasted like watered down vinegar. They did replace this for a more expensive wine but charged me full price for it. This is the sort of standard you would expect from a cheap chain restaurant, not a high end steak house in Chelsea which is certainly charging high end prices. Extremely disappointing overall, there is no way we will be visiting again.

Used to come here quite a bit many years ago, and decided regrettably to have a reunion here with some friends. Friday lunchtime and 1 waitress on duty and she was not exactly the most energetic waitress I have seen. Three managers or barmen standing around doing not a lot. It took just under 40 minutes for the wine to come to our table and the restaurant probably had 12 other diners so totally devoid of atmosphere.

More shabby than chic even though the service is amiable enough. Didn’t eat but frankly the place wouldn’t entice you to do so.

This has always been a great venue and had the opportunity to sample their new menu which was a massive improvement and provides so many options from a light inexpensive bite to a Rolls Royce steak. Supported by a varied daily specials board.

This is one of our favourite restaurants and it is always excellent. The specials board usually has a good mix of items and of course the steaks are cooked to perfection.

I guess a steak house with no real flavour, wish the management would attempt to change the restaurant to offer more then what they have in the menu and persue a more adventourous menu rather then a copy of their sister company.

Used to be a firm favourite, no longer. What happened? Service used to be perfect. Attention to detail used to be good. Nowadays? Average at best. Everything is too much bother. Food merely ‘ok’. For this money go to Hawksmoor, their steak is better, the service way better and at least if you ask for an egg they can serve one. How the hell can a restaurant not be able to cook an egg?!?! Trust me, unless you’re curious as to what average is, go elsewhere.

The best pork ribs I've ever had, life-changing! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and the warm atmosphere, highly recommended.

I recently ate here for a birthday meal, upon arriving the whole meal felt as if the staff were trying to rush through our sitting. I had the rib eye (rare) while my girlfriend had the rump (medium) both cooked to perfection and well seasoned.. we both got a portion of chips each but there were plenty just to share one! Although advised by the waitress there would not be.. we received the bill with a compulsory £9.50 service charge yet the service I received warranted nothing of the kind. Unfortunately let down.

We have just had the best roast Sunday lunch....even better than mine! The beef melted in my mouth and was utterly delicious. It comes with a huge mound of Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes and beautifully cooked vegetables. A jug of yummy gravy and excellent horseradish. The service is friendly and efficient no hanging around for this mountain of food. We all thoroughly enjoyed and shall be returning very soon.

After a very disappointing meal, spending over £50/head for small steaks and a glass of wine each, I left a review, then received a message from the restaurant to ask for more details and never heard back ... poor customer service.... again. Do not recommend!!!

I met a friend here for an early dinner last night. It was his first visit to Sophie's and he was delighted with his meal and the experience. He had the Butcher's cut and thoroughly enjoyed it. I had the Pork Ribs, which was fantastic. Our waitress, Zoe, who is new to Sophie's provided us with excellent service.

I took my 2 children and nephew out for dinner yesterday evening after reading the reviews. My birthday is today but we were out at comic con so decided to complete my day with a nice juicy steak for my birthday.

Shady was an amazing server and the food was excellent although warm inside it is understandable due to England’s fluctuating temperature. Definitely go again

We went to Sophie’s to celebrate my mother’s birthday for lunch. We ordered some steaks, each had a glass of wine and a few side orders. The food was really nothing special or remotely remarkable.

Nos juntamos con un par de restaurantes en los alrededores y finalmente elegimos a Sophie sin mirar a Tripadvisor. Conseguimos una mesa para 4 en unos pocos minutos y después de eso tuvimos una muy buena experiencia tanto en el servicio como en la comida.

Food here is great and service is wonderful! I definitely recommend it, and the best of all is that is kids and animal friendly. Also, the Sunday roast here is perfect.. Try it, you wont regret it!

Llamado para nuestra cena, uno de la fiesta pidió el bistec y ha estado hablando de eso sin parar. Ella dijo que era el mejor filete que había tenido en mucho tiempo. Mi ensalada era preciosa y había un montón. Bien vale la pena intentarlo

Super Great !!!! The Staff, the atmosphere, the service and the food. The chicken liver parfait is worth going there for on it's own !!! A steak that just melted in your mouth. My only advice is to share the cheesecake between 2 people - it's huge !!!

it has become one of our favourite family restaurants. the kids menu is great. the rest of the menu is good and simple. service is friendly and efficient. good price point for the area. overall, great place for a weekend lunch

The starters were awful. The squid over cooked. The chicken wing sauce was hardly anything more that mayo. The taramasalata was fish flavoured mayo.
