I came to this pub in South Kensington as I loved the look and vibe of the place. I do come here when I can for a treat. The staff are amazing and a lady called Diana served me and she was very professional and kept the pints flowing and made me and my clients very happy. They admitted they would be going back with friends and family.

Amazing spot to grabs drinks and food! Second year coming back from New York and I highly recommend the Pink Spritz, Chicken Kyiv, and Sunday Roast. The service is amazing and everyone is super friendly (especially Stefan). They’re super accommodating and in a great location is South Kensington.

The food was lovely and the staff were warm and welcoming, especially the shift manager. However the policy of Greene King is to not accept Scottish bank notes. Unbelievable!

Family of three for a spot of lunch. Menu was promising with plenty choice. Average meal, sadly. Staff were friendly but the sandwiches really mediocre, dry chicken and steak , nothing special at all. London prices but not worth it.

Beautiful pub located just a short walk from the natural museum! Very popular with tourist and locals! It was very busy when we visited Saturday lunch time! Food was great and came out pretty quick considering how busy they were! Service at the bar was friendly and efficient! Definitely recommended if you are in the area!

The service is spectacular. One in particular, George, left quite an impression on me just off of his mannerisms and overall treatment towards his guests. He makes you feel warm and welcome and, from I’ve seen, gets along great with his coworkers. The vibe in the pub is to die for and the food is great. Immediate recommend for anyone who is looking for a classic pub experience with amazing service and ambience.

I visited the Zetland last week found the staff very friendly. Ordered fish and chips which was served in an acceptable amount of time and was enjoyable. I drank the Best Bitter and very nice it was too. George and the staff have ensured I will call again when visiting London.

We spent a pleasant evening with good food and above all with the excellent and kind dining room staff who made us feel at home. We will definitely return. I highly recommend it.

From my childhood visits with my parents, who were art aficionados, the Zatland Arms in South Kensington has always been a cherished spot for me. As someone who appreciates the finest things, this pub remains my top choice for local cuisine. Their Fish & Chips are exceptional – arguably the best I've ever savored in London. The fish is remarkably fresh, and the batter is uniquely light and crisp, a testament to the high-quality, fresh oil used. The genuine taste of their cakes and the variety of beers add to the pub's charm. A special mention must go to the Beavertown Gamma Ray beer – I enjoyed it so much that I had it twice! It's a rarity outside the UK, and I'm already longing to return for another taste. A tip for fellow visitors: seek out Francesco. His expertise can guide you to the best selections, elevating your dining experience to new heights

Small fatty steak in the ciabatta was disappointing. Staff were ridiculously rude and tried to chuck us off our table 20 mins before the next booking for someone apparently more important. Like Prince Harry would eat here! Made us feel very unwelcome. The lady that served us was nice but the rest of the team need some hospitality training.

We arrived for lunch with 3 young kids. Asked for a child menu but was told there was not one, but we could order from the main adult menu and the food would be adapted to taste, eg no spices etc. We ordered in advance of the 5 adult choices, the chicken sharer dish for the children, a mix of bbq, piri piri and breaded chicken but requested just the bbq and breaded chicken only, not the piri piri as it would be too spicy for the children. The dish arrived with piri piri chicken and covered in a spicy sauce. We asked the server to take it back and to serve just the bbq and breaded chicken as we had ordered. The manager then appeared with the same dish, covered in spicy sauce, and was extremely rude, insinuating we should accept the dish. Saying we should have requested in advance that we only wanted bbq and breaded chicken, which we did, and then he said we were “wasting food”!!!!! Sometime after, the adult dishes arrived and the children’s meal arrived about 15 minutes later! I have never heard such rudeness in my whole life! It was actually unbelievable how we were spoken to. I would not set foot in this pub ever again. Overall all the food was mediocre at best. I wish we had never come to this pub for lunch, it completely ruined what should have been a lovely family day out. Change your manager or give him proper customer service training Greene King!

Really enjoyed this pub not too far from our hotel. We3 were able to get a hearty dinner (burgers, fish and chips) and a few cask ales to wash away the troubles of travelling. Place was very busy for a Tuesday night, so that was a good sign. We found ourselves lucky to get a table when another group had left. Bar service is great, good noise level of consistent buzzing of activity, but not so much the table could not hear each other. A number of spots around the bar, but some regular and cozier tables around the outside walls. Good food, good service, cold beer.

Good pub, nice decorated for Christmas. Busy when we went but still managed to find a table. Ordered nachos to start to share, good size portion. Then had fish and chips, served a good time after the starter. Service at the bar was slow, but...

Just poor service including poor customer service. Asked for bread to go with the mussels… was charged £1.75 for one slice… they even pulled a face at my request 🤦🏽‍♀️

Staff is very friendly and the food was really nice. The staff made our experience more enjoyable and they let us felt welcomed like at home. The bartender was really nice suggesting us the right choice of beer. The soup and halloumi dishes were delicious....

Came in here on busy late afternoon on a Friday. This bar was very busy with people standing outside. We did manage to get a table, this was dirty but staff going around cleaning as we were sat down. Food ordered and this was reasonable...

Another visit to the Zetland Arms in August of 2023, after four years. Still a Greene King pub, but enough guest ales are available (a few on tap, but mostly kegged). The beers certainly haven't become cheaper! A pint of kegged Beavertown Gamma Ray IPA...

Worst food I have ever had in London. I could have knocked you out with the burnt Kiev Chicken. Terrible

Dry, poverty-specced, small-sized, cold sandwich, with very little flavour, served on tiny plate with minuscule salad. Very sad. Staff indifferent.

I have visited the pub with my friends. Nice looking pub with amazing food and great bar staff. On our arrival we were warmly welcomed by a gentleman with a dark beard. One of the best customer service I have experienced! Food was fresh and delicious. Pub worth recommending. We will definitely be back!!

Paid £60 deposit to book a table for 10. Bill came with £60 added not deducted then offered £60 refund instead of the £120. Argued with "manager" but will now take to small claims court

Great little find. Old English pub that was once run by Charlie Chaplins bothers, Very nice ambience. Very warm and inviting. Service was great and the food was superb. Everything was cooked properly and was very fresh, the portions were huge and everything tasted spot on. Great staff too ,friendly and helpful, prices also very good for Kensington. We ordered the steak and ale pie, chips and seasoned greens and gravy made from beef dripping which all tasted fantastic. The pie was huge, my wife ordered fish and chips which was massive and came with scampi, peas, bread and butter, lemon, pickled onion and tartare sauce and curry sauce. Both meals were fantastic. Will happily visit again every time we are in Kensington.

We ordered food, which took nearly an hour to come, when it did come my daughter's food was cold, my garlic bread was cold. When we asked for the money back on that meal the manager gave us a horrible look. I think the company need to train their manager to be more customer friendly, I will never go back to that pub

While visiting Royal Albert Hall we called in on The Zetland Arms not once but twice, this was based on the atmosphere, service and a portion of chips which were smashing.To the Management and Staff, keep up the good service and you won't be short of paying customers.Good luck for the future, we'll be back in January as travelling from Nottingham.

Busy, buzzy pub. Great food & drinks. App works a treat with fast efficient service. Mostly friendly staff. The only negative would be the absolute state of the ladies toilets with overflowing sanitary bins & toilet paper strewn all over the floor.

This was a fun pub to try. It was always busy and we had to try a few times to get a table. We finally got fish and chips. Oddly we had been told 3 times at other places that they were out of fish. Not sure why it was so hard to find. I had the steak kabob with peppercorn sauce. I highly recommend it. They have an interesting way to order with a QR code and using a table number.

It rained yesterday afternoon so we went to the V&A and then went in search of a restaurant in Kensington where we happened upon The Zetland Arms and chose to eat there immediately due to the welcome we were offered.All the staff were lovely, the gammon egg and chips (+ peas) was superb and the price was more Yorkshire than Kensington (which we Yorkshire folk appreciate!).Next time we are in Kensington we will be back to The Zetland Arms.Thank you again - Excellent!

I've been here several times a week for over a month and each time has been fantastic! The food is great and the servers/bartenders are super friendly and welcoming! Especially George, he's been a pleasure to talk and chat with him :D

Great looking pub, lovely pedestrianised area with some tables and chairs for outside drinks and eating, we just had drinks so can’t comment on food but thoroughly enjoyed our couple of hours here.

Very friendly staff we were welcomed and showed to our table, took some time to order as few of us with children that changed their mind few times but we were not made to feel rushed. The food was very good great quality/ quantity and tasted very good nothing was left on the plate at the end.It did deliver in everything you hope for a good pub lunch Definitely a place to go back to when we are in the area next and we will tell our friends/family about it.

It is rare to find great, friendly and efficient service in a central London pub, but The Zetland Arms delivers! I was so impressed on my visit with a group of friends. We were seated outside and were very well looked after. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. There was a mix of carnivores and vegans and both were well catered for. There is a great drinks selection. The facilities were clean and well looked after.I’d definitely recommend this pub if you’re in the area.

Outdoor seating on the pedestrianised road is a wonderful spot to sit and have a drink hopefully in the sun! Didn’t try the food

I spent a good while researching places to visit/eat etc before we came for our London stay. I have 3 kids under 8 and chose to book this pub to eat in after our museum visits, because the website showed it had a good kids menu - lots of options they’d eat at decent prices. But on arrival it turned out there isn’t a children’s menu and the guy behind the bar didn’t know what I was talking about when I mentioned the one on the website. When asked if they could do us a ‘small plate’ of something instead for our two year old, the response was a hard no! Felt a bit like they weren’t that bothered about our business. Please update your website!

I visited here with my husband on 22nd June after we'd been to van gogh alive experience. The welcome was very warm and friendly and very covid safe too. The food was amazing and I think its the best pub food I've had EVER. It really was that good. I had the burger and my husband had the pie with beef dripping gravy I cant fault anything. The staff were so friendly. We would definitely come here again in fact we are going to visit again and very soon

Stopped by for just a drink after a museum visit. Immaculately clean and well managed for social distancing with indoor and outdoor seating. Our friendly waitress Padricia help navigate some technical difficulties with Test and Trace and Service Apps and provided lovely table service with accurate information on wine selection. Much more than anticipated - more like an upmarket bar than a pub.We stayed longer than planned, really enjoyed the visit. Thank you.

I was so impressed how the staff payed attention to our demand, I have multiple allergies and I can barely eat something when I go out , but here, guys I'm telling you for real , had almost an entire dinner! nice looking pub and very busy. we were in the area after doing the museums. the staff were all very friendly. had a few drinks in here. decide to order food and despite knowing it would be standard greene king microwave food i thought id chance it instead of looking for resteraunts in the rain. £16 for fish and chips and £13 for a pie , so not cheap. quite disappointed. fine for drinks but wouldnt recommend for food.

Vinimos a celebrar el cumpleaños y puedo decir que terminamos en un gran lugar. Su sistema de separación de tablas es muy eficiente, nos gustó mucho. Teníamos una mesa perfecta en la esquina, ofrecen servicio de mesa, que era muy cómodo. Había una encantadora jovencita rubia con anteojos y otro joven alto que estaba haciendo el servicio de mesa para nosotros, una gente amable y educada. Todo era perfecto. Incluso se unieron a nosotros cuando cantábamos feliz cumpleaños y venían a menudo a preguntar si necesitábamos algo. No planeamos pedir comida, pero al final terminamos pidiendo un par de personas, siempre nos gustaron los nachos y sus platos de pollo en este tipo de lugares y nuestra comida fue muy rápida y sabrosa. Definitelly deseando volver.

I have been going to this pub on and off for many years but only when I am meeting people due to the location. The clientele is a mix of locals, students and tourists. We did not eat as the menu was not very exciting. Staff were rude and unfriendly, even when the pub wasn't busy. Sadly there are not too many other choices in the area for a pint!

Called in for a quick drink with a colleague while down in London on business in January 2020. Seemed a very busy pub with lots of people having to brush past one another to move around, and tables could have done with an extra wipe down. The bar staff service wasn’t friendly, and was extremely slow even considering it was a busy Saturday morning. The Bloody Mary was bad; no celery, no tobacco, no fresh tomato juice – and no comment on this or apology/ explanation. It looked vaguely pink, and the limp lime slice was odd. Based on that one visit alone - I would not recommend and would not call in again if in the area; plenty of other pubs available.

We are from Belfast, and find it difficult in London to match the standard of the restaurants we have back home. A friend of ours who lives in south Kensington asked to meet him here one Sunday afternoon. Whilst there we decided to take in the Sunday roast. First impressions weren't good as it was £6.10 a pint. Easily the most I've paid for one anywhere. But the roast was very good, and my wife agreed. Best roast we have had in London.

I am regularly in South Ken for meetings and struggle to find somewhere to get a good lunch thats tasty and provides value for money AND doesnt require a 2nd mortgage to pay for it. This time around my other half came along and whilst I was in my meeting went on the hunt and found this place. We had sausage and mash with cabbage and gravy. Sausages were a good size and were tasty and there were three of them which I thought was a generous portion. Large selection of beers/ales/ciders we had red head (i think) and Rosie cider. Food was served in a timely manner, the server was cheerful and came back to make sure everything was okay. The atmosphere was nice, no moody punters and a general buzz of chatter. I will definitely be returning here and working my way through the menu.

En famille avec deux enfants, nous avons bien mangé, de bons burgers et une bonne poitrine de porc. Le cadre est agréable bien qu'un peu bruyant. Mais l'un des serveurs était très déplaisant, s'impatientant et levant les yeux au ciel lorsque nous ne comprenions pas assez vite à son goût. Nous avons dû réclamer pour avoir des couverts. Dommage.

Ci siamo fermati per caso in questo pub mentre eravamo alla ricerca di un posto dove mangiare, e volevamo evitare i mille fastfood che ci sono a South Kensington. Atmosfera molto carina, ricordatevi di andare ad ordinare al bancone e di pagare al momento dell'ordine. Abbiamo preso fish&chips e uova fritte, in entrambi i piatti tante patatine fritte e piselli. Cibo nella media e ottima birra.

Came here for drinks with my girlfriend. Ordered a Strawberry Spritz (strawberry vodka, prosecco, lemonade). The lady put strawberry gin in, which my girlfriend hates, so I went to the bar to ask for it to be remade.

This pub has been busy every time we’ve walked past it on our last few trips to London. On this occasion we were able to get a seat upstairs for dinner. Initially, one worker seemed annoyed we were there, but it seems he worked in the kitchen. The man at the bar was friendly. The fish & chips were fine as were the steak & ale pies. By the time we left, most tables were filled. If you want to eat there, I suggest arriving fairly early in the evening if you don’t want to wait for a table.

Arrived about 8.00pm with group of colleagues. Prices are pretty extraordinary. Charged £6.10 for a pint of Camden Pale Ale. Service was completely unfriendly, unwelcoming. Will pointedly not revisit.

A cosy and comfortable pub located in very convenient location close to the underground station and museums. With a wide choice of food and drinks, it is a great location for a lunch break.

First time in this location and last time to here food come over very cold, I ask for the manager when come over to my table I told the food cold him don’t have any answer for me just changed the food the second time mi steaks come rare instead medium rare I told to the staff and same manager come over back to my table with some stupid question do you ask for medium rare I explain to him everything don’t waste you money here.

This is a great local vibe pub with tourist mixed in with workers and locals the food is delicious the service I think is amazing but special mention to Justina from Poland I’m not sure if spelt name right but she has your drink and always right before you order ! Simple love this place

Leuke pub vlakbij het Natural History Museum. De bediening is vriendelijk en vlot zelfs als het gezellug druk is.

A typical London pub serving great beer and solid pub fare. The Pork belly was fabulous and the fish & chips were just what we expected. This was a real find and we will try to remember it for our next visit to London

Un buen hallazgo después de la ejecución de Great Parks que uno de nuestro grupo había completado. Sensación de pub adecuada. Amplia selección de bebidas en la planta baja. Cenar escaleras con un bar más pequeño pero más aceptable. Buen menú y precios fantásticos. Platos principales para cuatro y dos rondas de bebidas 95. ¡En Londres! El personal era atento y estaba ocupado, pero el servicio fue rápido y atento. Lo recomiendo totalmente.
