The steak and ale pie was fantastic, the pulled beef crockets were divine and the chicken burger was really crispy. The staff are incredibly friendly. All in all, an unforgettable evening in an authentic English pub. We will definitely be back! ❤️

Discovered by chance on the way to Kensington Palace, it is a very quaint and pretty pub, very well maintained. Very nice service, she always has a great smile! Food and drinks were very tasty and quite cheap by local standards. Definitely worth a visit! Thank you!!!

This is a really nice pub. I had the fish and chips and my friend had one of the burgers. It was pretty busy but we were still able to hear each other which was good.

Bumped into this place on my second day in London and its a gem. Such lovely staff, great drinks on the tap, the beautiful tap of the a guinness,…. Passed by twice in a day. 🤩

I had a wonderful Sunday lunch with my wife and two children. A lovely venue with attentive staff, especially a young gentleman called Solal I believe.

We had some unnecessary tension in our communication with the bartender. This morning, I realized it might have come across as if we weren’t LGBTQ-friendly, but we totally are. I was being protective of my friend, who was feeling uncomfortable of the anger of her service. Anyway, it doesn’t really matter why things got heated. I am sorry if I was a bit too protective and reactive. But I hope you’ll also take a moment to think about your own attitudes. Cheers, Eda.

We both had the steak and ale pie. I had chips and mushy peas, husband had mashed potatoes and garden peas. The food was piping hot and we didn’t have a long wait. Would recommend and when we come again, we will try to come in early enough to try the roast! The staff were polite and friendly. Husband booked via the web the night before and that went smoothly.

Really enjoyed visiting the Prince of Wales. The staff were really friendly and welcoming nothing was to much trouble. The atmosphere was pleasant felt safe no rif raf. Nice and clean decor was calming. No super loud music. I would highly recommend.

DONT BOTHER BOOKING A TABLE. Booked a table, got a confirmation and everything. When I got there the bald bartender with a beard turned us away rudely saying that the pub is too full, also blaming us that it was our fault to expect there to be a table available for booking during this time… I mean we expected it to be full that’s why we booked a table in advance, and the system allowed us to book it.

This place has been so friendly for people who aren’t for the country and the beer is so beyond crisp and authentic. We met a man named Jasper and he was telling us all about the bar and how the servers are very hard work and very kind. Bartenders name is Alex and if you see her say she was recommended. From a brother to another in America 5/5 recommend.

We’ve ordered 2 beers and fish & chips and after more than one hour our food wasn’t ready. We were told that the kitchen is very busy, but there were only 3 tickets on the window including ours. At least we’ve got our money back, but the service is horrible

One person serving the entire pub on a Saturday evening. Delivering food to tables/clearing tables/taking orders/making orders/taking payments…. Pint prices (£7.9) are well above the London average. Makes you think you’re in Copenhagen.
