Best fries in town, and we tried a lot. They saved our lives, forever grateful (plus the fresh beer) Very good place to be and to have a good time with friends or to made some.

This is a great pub in a lovely backwater just off the Earls Court Road. Staff are charming and the London Pride is top quality. My only criticism is that they only have a limited range of the Fullers beers that are on offer. No porters, stout, or ESB on draft and certainly no vintage ale. Also, Fullers do a George Gale HSB which you see in many Fullers pubs, but not here. Could you, please put some of these very popular beers on draft please ?

So disappointing. Fullers pubs are usually so reliable. A pint of bitter shandy, a glass of white wine and two plates of calamari. £40. We both had to suppress a snort of laughter when the - decidedly uninterested barman - brought the tiny offering of calamari (see photo with finger for scale). Do they actually value repeat custom? Not if this was anything to go by.

Stumbled upon this quintessential pub that turned out to be a gem in Earl's Court, London. Although the service was a bit slow, the food and atmosphere were terrifically London and the server was very pleasant. Sausage and mash were absolutely delicious and sticky toffee pudding was exceptional.

The King’s Head is great pub! The service is excellent and the small plates are not only Michelin Star delicious, but also SUPER gentle on the wallet! We had 4 small plates: Whipped Feta, Korean BBQ wings, Fried Popcorn Cauliflower, and sauces Sausages for less than £30 Tourist-friendly and located in a great part of Earl’s Court!

Looked online to find a place with a nice Sunday Roast and stumbled upon The Kings Head. This is precisely what we ordered the Sunday Roast, one with Owton's Sirloins beef and one had the Roast Shoulder of Lamb. The roasts come with potatoes, Yorkshire pudding, cauliflower cheese, honey roasted carrots, parsnips, kale and gravy. For drinks got Crabbies Alcoholic Ginger beer. I had the London Pride Ale and Frontier beer. I really liked seeing the lever tap system. A lot different from what I've seen in the US. Great food and nice homey feeling for a Sunday Roast.

Spontaneously dropped in for the England - Spain European final. The pub was packed, and what an atmosphere! Excellent beer, very nice people, and, as I perceived it, not full of tourists (sorry for ruining the stats 😉). Looking forward to the next time.

I spent lunch there (12-4pm)...5 beers... lunch.. nuts .. great conversation with the bartender and a few patrons (lightly attended in these hours)... as a tourist here for a week.. mucho fun...my best conversation was with an 80yr old Canadian who lived 50 yards from here in the 'blue house' in the 70s. She has clippings from 70s magazines of places she wanted to visit, and by God, at 80 she was going to do it!

A simple place, the fish meal is delicious, and its prices are very reasonable. It is close to the hotel where I live. Self service.

My girlfriend and I visited London for a Long weekend and were fortunate enough to come across this little gem, we both enjoyed the Beef Roast Dinner and it was an absolute treat, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a good old fashioned Sunday dinner in a pleasant and comfortable setting. Amazing!

Really loved the pub on our first visit to Earls court. Shame it closes so early, even at the weekend. Definitely recommend though.

This place was well kept, clean, with good service and attentive staff. The food was hit and miss However. The cockle popcorn was very tasty but the battered squid was mainly all batter with hardly any squid. Overall a pleasant experience.

Discovering a hidden gem in Earl Court I recently dined at king’s head pub and tavern , tucked away in a beautiful alley in Earl's Court, London, and had an exceptional experience. The food was fantastic, and the ambience was charming. The service was impeccable, especially from Bobby, who is an exceptional waitress. We had the fish and chips, which were hands-down the best I've ever had—and I've tried many, many restaurants. The steak pie was amazing, and the Korean chicken wings were incredible too. I will come back here again and again.

A popular restaurant that is always crowded with people. There seem to be a lot of regulars. I stopped by for a bit, and there was live music going on, and everyone seemed to be having fun.

Amazing Atmosphere, spoiled for choice with many craft beers on tap

Lovely atmosphere but the food was mediocre at best. Fish and chips was much too salty and the mushy peas had too much tarragon but were otherwise flavorless. Would not recommend for dinner.

We sampled many pubs while in London on our recent trip, and the food at The King’s Head was the absolute best. My pie was excellent, as was my girlfriend’s selection. There’s also great people watching of passersby on Earl’s Court to be had from the seats near the windows, and the interior of the pub is clean and attractive. Service from the table is also fast, pleasant and convenient via the QR code menu. And the pricing was fair, especially compared to certain supposedly “upscale” (read: overpriced) competitors with rooms nearby. If you’re staying in Earl’s Court, pop in for a visit!

Not the cheapest craft bar on the high St but still very nice. Food lovely. Only issue ladies toilets were blocked. Toilets were very nice but 3 of 4 not really in use. X

Lush food ! Fish and chips mushy peas not the best but a larger shandy so expensive!!! Staff were great ... and food served super quick

First night in London after 24 hour flight. I had haddock, chips and mushy peas, while my partner had steak and ale pie. I could not eat all my haddock it was beautifully cooked with crunchy with soft inside chips.

Great service and atmosphere. Good wines and great bartender! Everything clean, organized and good vibes. The food was correct (but not a dinner to remember). The trout nice but the potatoes undercooked and buttery, the hamburger ok.

Went with a friend. His local. Just had a couple of drinks. Was OK I guess but a bit scruffy. Not my kind of place at all.

Came in for Sunday roast, everything was cold, it was like they made it the day before and pulled it out of the fridge. The flavours were great, just would have liked it to be hot. And it wasn’t only mine, the table next to me asked for them to put theirs in the microwave, do better!

This is a lovely pub with a really interesting Australian heritage. The staff are polite and the food is OK. The one thing that absolutely ruins it is the manager lady. She is one of the rudest people I've come across in the hospitality industry. If she doesn't like working there and hates the patrons then do something else and don't drag a nice pub down

Traditional and friendly atmosphere. Fabulous location in a typical building in Earl's Court. Lots of cute things inside, even little treats for your dog. The very kind guys and the truly excellent fish and chips. Guinness beer forever!

6 of us attend at least twice a year. We are old friends. Obviously London prices but the beer was lovely and well kept. We tried 3 different beers, all excellent. The food was also great. Fish and chips was the best I have ever had in a pub!

I had Fish & Chips and it was great. This was the first time I had peas with mint and it was so good I will try this at home. The price was fair.

We had a lovely visit to The King's Head, including a delicious meal of fish and chips. The fish was fresh and cooked perfectly, the batter fluffy and light, the chips delicious, and the mushy peas perfectly seasoned. The homemade tartar sauce was spectacular.

I enjoy sitting outside with a glass of wine after shopping. It's a good place for that.

A big NO! I don’t recommend this place and I’m not going back! Ordered ravioli from the chef’s specials and was disappointed, atmosphere is also not the best. I’ve chosen this place due to good reviews but was in shock when I eventually tried it.

Popped in here yesterday afternoon for a bite to eat and a couple of London Pride beers. Place is friendly, clean, comfortable with a nice atmosphere about the pub. I had the fish and chips, which was very nice and just the right portion, beer was very tasty and poured just right and staff pleasant and friendly. I would defiantly go back, in fact I pooped in after the game for a couple.

Played chess with pat for some time and lovely bar staff few times when I go there they had a guy singing he was amazing. Only had one problem in there because of a customer but other than that its a chill

The staff at The King’s Head were superb, they were nothing but friendly and welcoming. The food was served quickly and was delicious. Each part of the roast dish was cooked perfectly and was quickly and with care. I would recommend this pub to everyone in the area or that can access it. It was one of the best meals I have had in a while.

Your average pub. Tucked away from the high street. Cosy and warm interiors. Kind staff and local atmosphere. Basic selection of Cask ale. London Pride-Ish.

Given we'd booked a table for 4 people, on arrival we were pointed to a table that could sit 3, 4 if you were happy to have the "bouncer on the door" sat on your lap; therefore a strange mercy that one of our group was unable to join us in the end. Having ordered food, we were then informed of the items unavailable (thankfully nothing we had chosen, but surely more sensible to advise customers of this before they are making their selection?) When the food arrived, it was cold. If this weren't bad enough, the one portion of food intended for a child, we were informed, was not coming for another 5 minutes (which transpired to be 10). I'm sure the food would have been lovely (had it been warm), but given the cost and then the additional delay in actually being able to eat, it was a thorough disappointment. Being a match day, we were questioned on arrival by the "security" whether we were allowed entry. This I had expected so was not offended by it. The issue I had was that, during our time there, over 16 individuals, all clearly away fans (to the extent that they were wearing away fan clothing) entered without question. Again, I have no issue with these individual customers; they were pleasant, and we had a nice conversation with one of the number. I asked the "security" when leaving what it was they were checking and was informed it was to only admit "home fans" entrance. When I questioned the admittance of 16 "away fans," I was told, and I quote, "Well..... they're in here now, aren't they?" As I said, I had no issue being questioned on arrival, but if the point is to ensure only "home fans" are in the pub, clearly the "security" isn't working; something we discovered that seems doable and managed very well up the road at The Pembroke. I'm saddened by this experience. We specifically booked a table here, having had previous positive meals and times at this pub; it's safe to say we won't be returning anytime soon.

We enjoyed a pub meal on pubquiz night. The food was nice. Service was okay. The quiz was super fun. Also for not-locals !

Popped in for a quick pint having not used this pub for a while. Service was fine but beer was average. It was a Fuller's brew but whilst not off, it was end of barrel or hadn't been pulled through. No where near as fresh as the same pint served in The Blackbird round the corner.

Il locale è molto carino ma la sera tengono la musica veramente a palla, e inutilmente direi, visto che poi sono tutti intenti ad urlarsi a squarciagola per conversare. Ci sarebbe stato anche un piano superiore per la cena ma era chiuso, tenendoci “stipati” al piano terra. Birre buone, cibo “standard” che si può trovare in qualsiasi pub inglese.

Música ao vivo, com muito bom ambiente. Gostei bastante, aconselho.
