Fuller's Pie and Ale House in City of London, Westminster

Joyeuse ambiance apres le marathon, serveurs tres sympatiques et nouriture succulante. Pour ma part le fish and chips est delicieux ! Je recommande! 😃

We had several dinners and a breakfast here. The food (traditional pub fare) was consistently great, and the service was consistently prompt and friendly.

I live in the UK & come to London on business. Whilst I value great British hospitality, food & beer, this was not great. I really wanted your best offering of a pie ‘slow braised beef & ale’, but it was very disappointing for the money. I had to look down into the pie dish to be greeted with a layer of mash above a thin layer of meat & gravy. This is not a decent example. Very dissatisfied for £38!

The food was splendid! We had the 2 person Pie Sharing Board. It was all delicious. The roast, chicken, and sweet potato vegetable were our favorite pies. The mashed potatoes and sliced potatoes were very tasty. For desert, we had the Blackberry crumble with ice cream for two people. It, too, was amazing. We would go back there without hesitation. The London Pride Beer Cask was very good, as well.

At around 3 pm, the place was busy but there were a few free tables. Upon inquiry, it was fine to take any free table. I patiently waited as did the table next to me who were already seated when I arrived. No welcome is fine by me in a pub. But a pub might like to acknowledge the customer in some way? Offer something? 17 minutes with no one in sight and we all walked out.

Fabulous staff who recommended excellent local beer. The food was absolutely delicious and the red wine gravy was to die for. It was so good that we ate there twice on our three night stay. The curry pie was amazing!

We had a wonderful and delicious dinner. Chicken and steak mini pies, Fish & Chips and Sweet Toffee Pie. You converted my daughter to enjoy pies and fish! Vic, our server was very busy but was attentive, kind and helpful to all the tables he helped. Unfortunately, we did not get a chance to try the Tikka Masala pie 😕, next time.

An old school pub that we happened across for breakfast, and happened to stay in for a fair few hours. The breakfast was tasty and fresh, with the full English going down well. The only gripe was the avocado on toast/bruschetta was an incredibly stingy portion size. A good selection of ales that were worked through, and the staff were friendly and engaging. We nearly ordered some pies, but were still too full from breakfast.

Atmosphere was perfect wood grain London pub feel. Terrific selection of draft ales. Bar food much better than expected. Staff was friendly and helpful. Quick to offer tastes. Was a block from our hotel. We went there 3 times in 2 days!

Full of character. Was a nice spot to stop for lunch, menu wasn't greatly varied but it is a pub.

Ok, where do I start again. Your prices remain stubbornly too high. The food is nice, but in the interests to keep costs down I elected for two small dishes. The salmon came in at £9.95 for something that can be put together for £3. A slice of bread, knob of butter & salmon slices - no side salad or garnish? The mini pie was nice, but again, you let yourselves down with sub-standard quantity over quality & vfm. Together with a pint, this meal cost £23.85. I’ve attached a photo which does the meals about as much justice as they deserve. They look rather plain yet stupidly costly. Turning to beer, how on earth can you justify £6+ for a 500ml bottle of ale? Wowzer, a supermarket does 4 of these at the same price. I like the Fullers brand, I like the food, but it doesn’t justify these prices, sorry.

Perfect pub. Friendly and service minded staff. The manager is very friendly, she is giving a fantastic service. The food is good and we will be back next time in London.

Inner city London with great ambience. The food was well presented and tasty. A lovely little waitress, who was helpful and friendly. However I was a little surprised the waitress was able to wear a bucket hat and long cardigan while working. Apart from that she was very good at what she does.

In short the only thing that was good about this was the staff, which were friendly. Otherwise it was overpriced for pub food, small portions and not even hot.

Shocking meal. Had the fanciful burger or so it seemed from the menu. When it came it was nothing more than a Burger King on a plate with some sparsely places chips! No garnish no frills but still wanted £14 for the displeasure!

I had to grab a quick meal for lunch. I had only a limited amount of time. As was lunch time, and about half full, I asked what the wait time was, they replied it was about 20 mins (actually took 22 mins).The burger I ordered was excellent, chips were thick cut and crispy, but just a little overcooked. The presentation on wooden slate was nice. The staff was friendly, polite and attentive (table services is available). The decor is traditional wooden panel pub, was airy and clean.Overall I was pleased with my meal, the only thing that lowered my rating is that of value for money. The prices are quite high and there is little alternatives within a 10 min walk of this place.

A small quaint pub that is known for there fresh meat pies and fish and chips. The steak and Ale pie is to die for. A fresh flaky crust with big pieces of beef inside. Pair with your favorite ale and you are in heaven. Just so you don't get upset about the service. There are menu's on the table but you have to go up to the bar to place your order. Common in London.

I stopped here for one drink whilst waiting for a friend. I didn't eat but heard others comment on how good their food was! Also what I saw of the pies looked wonderful! The pub is nicely themed and was clean with friendly staff! I'd make special trip to go back there if in London again.

We were staying in a 5 star hotel around the corner and baulked at being charged £30 for breakfast and were delighted to find Fullers Pie and Ale House. I had the excellent eggs benedict while my wife tucked into a breakfast bap. service was prompt and polite and we got change from £15.

El sitio es precioso, muy buen ambiente y la comida deliciosa... Después de un día de turismo se agradecía una sonrisa y algo caliente. El precio bastante razonable. El problema es el ruido que hay al ser tb un pub... Resulta un poco incomodo mantener una conversación, pero aún así todo muy bien.

They just stuck on a tip charge without even offering me the option of whether i wanted to or not. Very sneaky and perhaps illegal. Tatamounts to stealing from you. The drinks and food are overpriced and less than average. The bar girl was quite rude.

Food is expensive for a pub- £13 for a main course, but it is tasty. But the real joy is the ale. I had a golden ale which was gorgeous. Loads of beers and free to taste so give it a go.

Toutefois le service manque d'efficacité : oublis de plats, erreurs dans la commande, les plats ne sont pas servis en même temps. En outre la nourriture est correcte sans plus, mais le pris ne l'est pas vraiment. On paie sans doute pour le cadre.

We did not have a meal at the pub but we did have a pint. The ambiance is excellent as is the location.

We ordered the fish and chips, chicken Kiev and steak and London ale pie. Fish was average( being from the Ocean State/ RI in USA), we have quite a few venues that sell very fresh fish and chips. The chicken, I would not recommend (bit dry/overcooked). The pie was very tasty with large chunks of delicious beef in Brown gravy. The area very touristy, therefore just a tad bit pricier than others.

Alla ricerca di un locale dove cenare al caldo e riposarci un po' dopo una lunga giornata in giro per la città, abbiamo trovato per caso questo pub accogliente con buona cucina londinese. 30 Sterline in 2 per un' ottima birra un hamburger multistrato e patatine fritte il tutto servito su tagliere di legno.

Het is even wennen om niet bediend te worden, maar het is heerlijk ouderwets bestellen aan de bar. Veel verschillende bieren op tap en voor de Nederlander die niet zonder kan, ook heerlijk Heineken. Ze zitten op meerdere locaties in Londen en allemaal een aanrader. Als je er toch bent, probeer ook eens de toast met beef and pickles. Heerlijk pittig!
