Brewers Fayre Winsor House in Newham

I recently visited Windsor House in Beckenham, and the ambiance was lovely when I walked in. I felt welcomed upon arrival, thanks to a lovely staff member named Pranaya, who was warm and professional. She made a great first impression and later served us our desserts with the same kindness and attentiveness. I ordered from the Sunday roast menu and also had desserts—both were absolutely splendid. The food was 10/10, and it’s clear the kitchen takes great care in preparing their dishes. Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by the poor service from another staff member named Shahal. Before serving me, I noticed him using his phone, which came across as unprofessional. When I asked him relevant questions about the menu, he seemed uninterested and dismissive. His body language made it clear that he wasn’t willing to engage, and it felt like he was being forced to assist me. This really threw me off, especially since it was my first time at the restaurant. It’s disappointing because the food itself was incredible, and Pranaya’s excellent service stood out. However, Shahal’s poor attitude left a bad taste in my mouth. While I’m undecided about whether I’ll return, I strongly urge the management to be more mindful of who they hire to represent their restaurant. Great service is just as important as good food, and this experience fell short in that regard.

A great spot for a family lunch and a couple of drinks. Warm service, delicious food, and a cozy atmosphere. We will definitely be back

Booked a table for 10 4 weeks prior for a festive meal with my family, service was appalling, no service until we asked to be served after being seated for over half an hour, to be told festive menu is not of offer, we asked why and was told because they run out of food because no delivery, young boy went and spoke to his manager to return to inform us, they could now do the festive food for us with what food remained, we was shocked and very angry by this and we was not willing to chance getting their scraps, was more shocking is i had called the restaurant 3 times to double check booking and parking as my disabled sick mother was supposed to of joined us and lives not far, thats why we cooked here and always had good options of this place as have used this place for parties when my kids were young and from what iv seen and read just thought we would of got a decent festive meal here at christmas time, luckily my mum had not made it as she really wasn’t well, we was then given a very basic day menu and said we could order from there if we preferred, We were all totally disgusted with this and appalled i was not informed about everything prior to our visit which had been planned and was really looking forward to as had all decided what we was going to order from the festive menu prior to our visit. we decided to leave and find somewhere else to eat which caused so much distress and disappointment, just avoid this place at all costs unless you want to be treated like an animal then go ahead and book your festive meal! 😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡😡

Toilets disgusting!!! No staff ever goes in to check. Female member of staff (lady in black clothes with black hair) flirts with male customers. Embarrassing!!!

It's a nice place to eat and hang out with friends and family. Customers service at top notch. Orienta the restaurant staff is always helpful and kind with great customer service.

Staying in the Premier Inn, I thought that it was a quick and good option to eat in the restaurant across the parking. I was wrong. Only one guy behind the bar during rush hour on a Wednesday night and about twenty customers waiting to order drinks and food. And since a lot of people wanted cocktails, it took quite a while to prepare the drinks. There were other members of staff walking in and out of the kitchen, but no one felt inclined to help the man who was rushed of his feet behind the bar. No manager to be seen as well. Many people gave up waiting and just left. So, poor management and staffing issues is losing this place a lot of business. I stayed and after a whapping 25 minutes I could order. The food was alright, but quite expensive for what is on offer. You are better off at the McDonald's across the road that does offer service for their customers.

James the duty manager is the best thing about the Brewers fayre. Always helpful and always service with a smile. Makes such a difference to our stay

Recently, I had breakfast in “Winsor Brewers Fayre”. On top of decent food for a reasonable price, I was really pleased with the Customer Service and Staff, especially Orinta. She was kind, polite and helpful.

I have visited the restaurant with my family on Friday night at around 8pm and it was very busy. Despite this we’ve received a very friendly response from James the person that found a table for us. The food arrived very fast and it was delicious. The service was imaculate Orinta the waitress that served and ensure everything was well was full of smiles. What was very impressive for us was the fact that the chef was attending tables asking how was everything, Jolita was very passionate about her cooking. Overall we had a very good time and I will surely be spreading this around as this type of service it’s hard to get in many other more posh restaurants.

The food and drinks were great. The service from Frances was superb. She was very welcoming and so helpful with our order.

So we’ve come back from a weekend in London staying at the Premier Inn at Beckton. We used the Brewers Fayre on site to have breakfast and our last lunch. 9 of us ,5 kids 4 adults. Sharon and Francis looked after us so well.They helped so much , especially with sorting out our friends daughter with gluten free options. Brilliant service and very helpful. Highly recommended .

Went there for birthday party. Celebrated separately from other people in a private room. Our host who looked after us was Dina, she did a really great, tables were full of food and to be honest hardly saw her 😀. Atmosphere was amazing and really had a nice night out.
