Organised our works Xmas lunch here and the experience was amazing! From booking with Joel and Polly, to the online system and then the day itself. The team were wonderfu! The room was set up and decorated. Free prosecco for everyone. Food was absolutely lovely, not one complaint from the 40 attendees. Well done all the team....kitchen, servers and bar. 😃

Firstly I would to thank Polly, as she was welcoming from the start of our team walking through the doors. Polly had escorted us to our tables. She was full of humour which made our experience even better. Excellent service from Polly throughout. As for the Chef, thank you for one of best meatless burgers I have tasted. It was fabulous definitely recommend this to anyone, even the meat eaters. Overall great experience. Thank you Sam

Whilst staying at The Doubletree Hilton we visited the local pub the Fox Connaught. Kaveesha was lovely, so welcoming and friendly. The meal was very good and extremely good value. Highly recommended.

Llegué sin reserva, consiguió un asiento de inmediato y fue servido por Kaveesha Rashmi. Ella era muy servicial y tomó nuestro pedido de bebidas y comida para tres personas sin tomar notas. Siempre una preocupación, pero nuestro pedido llegó perfectamente y muy rápido también. La comida era encantadora y caliente, comidas en porciones de buen tamaño. Gran comida, excelente servicio y a un precio muy razonable. Bar vestido para Navidad. Chap en una guitarra creó un poco de ambiente, en general, una gran primera visita.

Great English pub atmosphere close to the expo center. Kaveesha provided great service and made the dining experience a pleasant one. Food was classic pub fare and did not disappoint. Went back multiple times during my trip. They even have live music on occasion! Highly recommend

We have just returned from 3 lovely nights at the Fox Connaught, such a lovely, quirky, and original venue with lots of history and the kindest and most welcoming staff. Every person we spoke to couldn't do enough to ensure we enjoyed our stay. The breakfast and bar menu offer plenty of choice, and the value is amazing. You're only a short DLR and tube ride to central London so it is ideally placed whilst still being budget friendly. We will definitely be back next time we visit London. Thank you Poli and team!

You get what you pay for is the old saying, so wasn't expecting much. A basic room and small bathroom is what you get. At £82.00 for the night it's probably the cheapest hotel in the area. Location is good with links into town not far from your stay. Room was a reasonable size for just myself, some wear and tear and marks in the walls, a bit run down is how I'd describe it, not the cleanest it could be. Bed sheets were clean so happy enough with that. Bathroom was tiny I'm 5.5" and it still felt a little cramped. Bathroom wasn't super clean, had mould around the walls and, shower doors and shower tray and the shower head was extremely scaled, working in building services I know about leginella and it'd be quite happy growing here. As for the shower it was stone cold and had to run it for 10 mins before it even got slightly warm. The place is fine for a night, I wouldn't stay longer.

Very well attended by Kaveesha at the Pub for dinner. Service was excellent and food delicious. I also got a delicious Full English breakfast twice in the 2 mornings I have been in the hotel. Poli and all the staff were so nice. Definitely I'll come back again 👌

Stayed here for 2 days whilst at the Excel. 5 minutes walk. Hotel was well worth it. Free parking, lovely staff. Poli made us so welcome and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was amazing. Room was comfortable and clean. Shower hot. Clean towels and cosy room. Will definitely stay here again

I have been coming to this pub for a while now and you can really see the difference in the standard of the pub since Poli has taken over as manager. The team and kitchen staff are always friendly and polite which is why it is so popular

Had a lovely breakfast at the Fox. Had amazing service from Polie and the breakfast was very good. Not at all greasy and really good value. They had no problem making changes to the breakfast on the menu.

I had a wonderful experience with my partner today at the Fox Connaught! The food was absolutely delicious, with every dish beautifully prepared and bursting with flavor. The service was equally impressive –attentive, friendly, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. Special thanks to Karolis and the other lovely guy who was serving. A truly enjoyable visit; I’ll definitely be coming back!

Staff was easy to interact with fast with serving with drinks and food. Coral was very polite always smiling very easy to interact to. Poli always polite always checking if customers are fine if the food and drink are to the expectations and very easy to talk to.

Nice find when visiting ExCel which allowed me to escape away from the hotel bar! Has live sports on. Very helpful and friendly staff.

Well what a shocker, after staying here previously with no problems this time was a shocker of an experience. Firstly walking in and noticing the place has become quite run down, untidy and the staff didn’t really seam to want to clean up empty glasses or wipe dirty tables down… Anyway, gets to our room to be greeted by more worn out and run down fixings, firstly the TV didn’t work, batteries and battery covers missing off the safe and room door lock, a really REALLY filthy shower and to top it off no hot water at all!! The only other spare room was a tiny unprepared room two floors up which they gave us a key for so we could use the shower! Not good enough! Bar staff used the same measure for the spirits without cleaning it several times and made the other half’s gin taste like Malibu. So the drinks had to go back. As we were only one floor up the noise from the bar was mental. Don’t expect a quiet night if you end up on the first floor, it was really overwhelming. Not like we could put the TV on to help is it! All of this stacked up we really were fed up and decided to leave and head home that night, which was also the day of arrival, so we didn’t get to stay over after all. We were offered a refund, and by the time of writing this we STILL haven’t received the refund back and it’s been over two weeks. Which is beyond a joke and totally unacceptable. Only good thing about this place is the location to the excel, the 02, transport and trains. But really don’t expect nothing from this place if you stay here. My advice. Don’t. *UPDATE* As of the 26th November we still haven’t had a refund, we have left messages and rang plenty of times, cannot get a call back. Yet at the time a refund was promised This is technically theft! We didn’t stay there and they have kept our money!! Seriously!! *UPDATE 2* WE HAVE TRIED PHONED SEVERAL TIMES AND LEFT MESSAGES WITH NO PHONE CALL BACK, NOW YOU WANT US TO PHONE AGAIN? ARE YOU FOR REAL!?????

Lovely customer service from Paulina and the other Paulina, breakfast was amazing compliments to the chef. Very nice and clean just a cozy pub in a cozy area. Definitely recommend.

Hello, we have spent a week in the accommodation for our honeymoon....the place is simple but fantastic....close to public transport...the food was delicious and above all the attention, especially from Paulina, who helped us a lot with the arrived with their translations in Spanish and were very kind to us....and in the mornings Poli received us wonderfully and always so nice to us....thank you all

Perfect location. Staying for my birthday the staff were very attentive to any of our needs, especially Polli at breakfast. Very soundproof rooms, warm and toasty with excellent connections to central London and the Excel.

Have been here a few times for evening meal and found that the staff go above and beyond to extend their welcome, making us feel valued as a customer but also as a person, would highly recommend it as a place to go to enjoy food and drink but more importantly the company of the staff. Would like to personally mention Pauline who extended the warmest of welcome with her amazing customer service skills and bubbly personality which just made our night memorable, can't thank her enough for her attention to detail in making our night... La habitación era muy agradable y la cama era tan cómoda que la ducha era agradable. tuvimos té y desayuno, que era muy agradable y vale la pena y es bueno que estamos te dan el 20% de por ser un huésped. poli que estaba era muy agradable y ella es un gran crédito a su equipo. Sin duda volveremos y también aparcamiento gratuito todo el fin de semana cuando nos fuimos el domingo por la mañana nos dejaron dejar el coche allí para que pudiéramos ir de turismo y nos dijeron que no tenía prisa por volver. no dejes que las malas críticas te detengan la reserva.

This is a budget hotel so didn’t expect a great deal. R6 was big and clean, bed was extremely comfy and huge tv, just what we needed after all day walking around London. Train - 2 minute walk then one stop to the tube, easy, contactless payments on transport. The hotel offered free parking😳 Next door was Hilton and premiere, only needed a sleep and then headed to abba voyage next day, we were aloud to keep the car an extra day parked up. Big thank you to Tom, very helpful and knowledgeable,.

We came here having travelled from Ramsgate to the ExCel F1 exhibition. Lovely pub. Friendly staff excellent food and reasonably priced. Well recommended and would definitely come back if in area again.

I cannot recommend the Fox Connaught enough. Travelling to mcm comic con and what it lacks in distance from the Excel, it makes up for in friendly staff and incredible rooms. Poli went above and beyond to make sure we were accommodated and comfortable as well as reminding us about the guest discount! She was so lovely and kind, a true asset to the hotel. Alfie behind the bar deserves commendation as his service was stellar. What a great bunch of staff!! I highly recommend staying here regardless what event you are going for!

The rooms are a little tired but absolutely fine for the price. The staff were amazing so helpful to me and my recently dislocated knee. Can't praise them enough especially Paulina and Cane. Booked for comicon next year.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, great value with free parking & very handy for getting to the O2 arena.

Everything was perfect from the moment we walked in while Premier Inn couldn't accommodate us for dinner. Ethan welcomed us with a massive smile, and we had the most amazing time. Drinks arrived within minutes, and we ordered Bang Bang Cauliflower (Yummy!), Chicken Wings, Beef Lasagne with extra cheesy garlic bread, and two plates of Rump steaks, with me switching chips for house salad. It was absolutely delicious, and the whole service was amazing from start to finish! Will definitely keep in mind when looking for a room while visiting ExCel Centre.

It's ok we only had a drink no food

I do not recommend this hotel even to my worst enemy, after a long trip by plane and train, I arrive at the hotel and they tell me that there is no room because there was no water. I had the reservation for 4 months. The very shameless people wanted to send me to an apartment 2 hours by train from this hotel. I had to go and figure it out on my own. AVOID HAVING A BAD TIME. It is also located far from central London.
