We had a fantastic English breakfast today here. The place was almost full, but the owners managed to make some room for us. Cozy atmosphere and great food.

Had a great time at this restaurant. 10/10 food and great atmosphere. Friendly staff. I will recommend and will be coming again soon

Nicho superó todas nuestras expectativas con el acogedor ambiente cálido y bullicioso, servicio amable y amable y una fantástica selección de platos increíbles. Sin duda recomendaría este lugar.

I’ve had a lot of steak in London, but this one? Easily the best. The Highland sirloin was cooked to perfection—that 2001 R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Rioja? Stunning. Aged beautifully, balanced, and a perfect match for the steak. It wasn’t just the steak—the entire set menu was fantastic. Service was friendly and professional, but there was a small hiccup with the bill. OpenTable’s wording made it seem like I had already paid in advance, so I was caught off guard when I was presented with the bill. I asked the waiter, and the manager came over to clarify that I hadn’t actually paid yet. They were completely right, but OpenTable’s phrasing could be much clearer. All that aside, this was an outstanding meal, and I’d absolutely go back—especially for that steak and Rioja.

There was a live DJ on that day of visit and our group was not able to appreciate the music. It was also too loud to hold a proper conversation - had to raise our voices to communicate. Else, great service from the bar! We will still be back, maybe on a non-DJ night.

The staff at this pub are incredibly rude . Most of them are disengaged with their job and treat it like a pesky chore, according to their facial expressions each time a customer approached the bar to order. The girl with long hair who also happens to be a manager has learnt to be passive aggressive before learning the ability to speak proper English, not being able to handle a situation without getting extremely emotional and defensive when misunderstanding my order. The other manager whose name I do not know was shouting swear words from behind the bar as the pub was closing and telling people to leave in a derogatory way. On the other hand there was an agency staff behind the bar who was extremely helpful and supportive throughout our visit.

Really good steak here ! Sitting near the kitchen is too hot even for winter so try to avoid sitting so close so there the steaks etc are cooked, otherwise it’s an outstanding pub.

Always such a pleasure going to the Marian Anderson. Food is great, staff are friendly and drinks are cold what more could you ask for.

Great pub for vegan pub grubm very reasonable priced, even cheaper if you take food to donate to their foodbank collections. Fried offerings, and vegan burgers. Polenta fries are great, as is Mac cheese, oh ok and the vegan fish burger with kim chi

We met with friends because of the restaurant's proximity to Farringdon. We started off seated outside but as it got colder and then started raining we moved indoors The restaurant has a great atmosphere and it was a shame that on a Friday evening there were so few diners Our server was really good, cheerful and chatty We had started with glasses of house white - it was so good we asked to see what it was - Grillo from Sicily We then moved onto Chianti with the meal The menu is short and interesting and we really struggled to choose. We had sourdough and buter to nibble on whilst choosing Two had the ham hock terrine with toast which was chunky and tasty with a pear picallili I had the barbequed mackeral which came with asparagus and little sudges of mayo and roe - nice For mains we had bavette steak with fries, the flat iron Holstein chicken that came with a small side salad and a mushroom risotto Sides of fries were excellent and a green salad was very fresh and crisp with a great dressing We finished with a rhubarb brulee and a banoffi shortbread with ice cream We were all very please with teh food, teh wine, the ambience and teh service An excellent find

I was disappointed to find that this "dog-friendly" establishment seems to favor certain dogs—particularly the landlord's off-leash and rather aggressive one. Unfortunately, my leashed Westie was recently attacked, and instead of any accountability, I was met with a rather hostile response from the bulldog’s owner, who insisted his dog had every right to behave that way since this was "his home." While I truly appreciate the kindness of the staff, I’ll be choosing to support other places for now—ones that prioritize the safety and comfort of all their patrons and their dogs. It’s unfortunate that what should have been a relaxed Sunday drink with a friend whom I haven't seen for years, turned into such an unpleasant experience. Thankfully, there are plenty of other welcoming spots in the area that I am looking forward to explore and support.

Went there for a quick bite, and the burgers 🍔 were tasty. Service was below expectations.
