Great breakfast place although limited seating inside as the place is quite small. That said the food was very good and well priced

We came with my girlfriend 2 mornings in a row. We enjoyed the food and the friendliness of the staff. The prices are still reasonable. We'll be back when we visit with pleasure. Don't change.

A lovely surprise. The breakfast was hearty and good quality , including the tasty sausage. For London, fairly priced. A pleasing start to the day! The whole time I was seated, there were consistently differing groups of people, who appeared more local than tourist, which I always feel is a good indication. The building is light with lots of windows which is pleasant, though perhaps a bit warm if you get in the sun. It had a relaxed, cafe feel. The very handsome grey-bearded manager was welcoming, friendly and efficient . The other staff seemed similar. It's good to see some older staff employed also, though the older lady's poor English made her present abrupt and unwelcoming, so for her sake it would be good for the cafe to support her English learning. I was very pleased with my meal and visit and will definitely be returning. If youre Exmouth market way, I'd recommend !

I had a disappointing experience at your cafe, which started out well but quickly soured over a simple request for tap water. While the food and coffee were good and the service for our initial order was prompt, the way our request for water was handled was concerning. After ordering breakfast and coffee, I asked for tap water nicely. The server acknowledged the request, but after serving our coffee, food, and cutlery, we still didn’t receive it. When I gently reminded him, he responded curtly, stating he was busy and that we’d need to wait if we want tap water unless we ordered still water. Though his attitude wasn’t ideal, I was understanding and waited patiently. However, even after nearly finishing our breakfast, no water arrived. I then asked another waitress, who kindly agreed to assist. Unfortunately, she informed the initial server, who seemed visibly irritated and allegedly told her “no tap water” within earshot of our table. This hostility left my friend and me uncomfortable, and we were concerned about escalating tension. Despite our polite requests, we never received the tap water, nor was the situation acknowledged by staff before we left. It felt like our request was deliberately ignored. I don’t mind if the restaurant has a policy against serving tap water. However, it would have been far better to be upfront about this rather than asking us to wait and handling our reminders with unnecessary hostility. The experience left us feeling unwelcome and uneasy, particularly as two Asian women, raising questions about whether our gender or nationality influenced the treatment we received. I hope this feedback helps address any issues and ensure better experiences for future patrons. Thank you for your attention.

Found this cafe by chance. Wonderful breakfasts, one with olives and haloumi. Good coffee. Returned again the next day.

Nice cafe in Central London, does a lovely fry up as any good cafe should.friendly and clean.as a lover of black pudding and fried bread I had a set 1 breakfast. Very nice.

Lovely place had a great breakfast and the catered for all 7 of us ranging from 18 months upwards. Food was all freshly cooked tasty and good value. Staff were friendly and efficient. Great place 😃

Tuvimos que hacer un esfuerzo considerable solo para solicitar una segunda porción. Aparte de la dulce rubia, todos los demás eran groseros y antipáticos. El gerente fue especialmente grosero y amargo - cara. Cuando le hicimos una pregunta a la mujer de cabello oscuro, ella nos regañó y ni siquiera se molestó en mirarnos. El ambiente es acogedor y cálido, como una cafetería, pero la gestión y sus productos están lejos de ser frescos. Nadie debe trabajar en un trabajo que no disfruta.

This was the worst English breakfast I’ve ever had. The bacon wasn’t fresh. When we mentioned it, they insisted it was made daily. We had to make a considerable effort just to request a second serving. Apart from the sweet blonde lady, everyone else was rude and unfriendly. The manager was especially rude and sour-faced. When we asked the dark-haired woman a question, she scolded us and didn’t even bother to look at us. The ambiance is cozy and warm, like a café, but the management and their products are far from fresh. No one should work a job they don’t enjoy.

Excellent cooked all day breakfast, quality sausage and bacon. Partner had ommelette, salad and chips. Staff lovely and good value for money.

My husband and I have been going here for breakfast every Saturday for half a year. The atmosphere there is unique. Service is friendly helpful always smiling. As for the food itself, fresh, extremely tasty. You can feel that the food is prepared with love and dedication. The ingredients from which the food is prepared are selected with great care and at the highest level of quality.

Fantastic little cafe with fabulous food, excellent portions, delicious coffee and friendly staff. Saw lots of comments on here about cash only, not anymore, they accept cards now.

Had a magnificent English breakfast and Mediterranean breakfast this morning. Service was impeccable and felt friendly vibes between the servers and the diners.

Super brunch spot, super value too. Veggie options OK. Fresh orange juice a must, I like my tea on the builders end of spectrum (they leave the tea bag in the large cup, perfecto).

Very chill sit down place. They have halal chicken. The food is acceptable for the price you pay for it. It doesn’t blow you away but that’s okay because this is a cheap restaurant. Great service. Overall good spot, but I wouldn’t go here if you want a culinary experience. Last thing: fruit smoothies with no added sugar for 4 Pounds including sales tax is a great steal.

My boyfriend and I stopped here before leaving London and enjoyed an amazing English breakfast and avocado toast and two cappuccinos. The owner is wonderful and kind. We enjoyed the atmosphere and it had the feeling of “home”

Delicious breakfast !! The portions were really generous, the quality and the price totally matched it was a good spot for breakfast. We had avocado toast with poached eggs and extra hash brown and halloumi, very yummy! The fresh juices were good too as well as the latte. Would definitely come back if I’m in town again!

We ate here twice. Nice English breakfast, friendly service, unremarkable, generic atmosphere. Sauce bottles and salt shakers were slightly sticky. Toast was inconsistent both in method of preparation and quantity.

Great small cafe. Excellent food. We had a full English breakfast with eggs florentune and poached eggs on avocado. All great. Cappuccino was especially good. Prices were cheaper than expected too. £45 for 4 cookes breakfasts, 2 cold drinks and 3 Cappuccinos. Highly recommended.

Lovely little cafe. GF and vegan options which was great. Friendly and helpful staff. Didn’t manage to take a photo of the food as I was too hungry but it was delicious!

Nice place for breakfast in the city. We tried House breakfast and Mediterranean breakfast both were very good. The kids loved butter toast served hot - we ordered a second plate. Definitely recommended if you are in the area.

We found this little gem when we were looking for somewhere near our hotel to have breakfast. The food and coffee are excellent as is the service and the prices are very reasonable by London standards. We went back for three mornings in a row, and the food was great each time, just wish we’d found it earlier. I gave it five stars for atmosphere because it’s not pretending to be anything other than a great cafe.

This cafe was just up the road from the Premier Hub and fancied a decent breakfast rather than what was offered at the hotel. Wasn't disappointed by our choice. The staff were really friendly, food was brought out in good time and was delicious. Would certainly come back if in the area.

Had pancakes and maple syrup and bacon not sure if pancakes were home made looked like sainsbury brand but taste was okay, had a chocolate milkshake but tasted like coffee but was overall delicious also have some delicious cakes which I bought two was yummy

Table for 2 ready for us very quickly with prompt service. Milkshake was lovely and cold, great on a hot day, no aircon inside so it was quite hot. Smashed avocado was okay. Passion fruit smoothie was great. Asked for water twice and never received any.

A chance discovery. This little cafe offers traditional breakfast/brunch options with vegetarian and lighter options. The menu provides lots of choice and the food was freshly made and very good. It was inexpensive for the area. Recommended.

Fast and friendly service. Very good option for breakfast with the typical English Breakfast or any of its many options (omelettes, eggs Benedict, toast, etc.). Very good coffee in all the variants they offer. Totally recommended if you are in the area!!!

No one recommended this place but we just found it waking by, it seemed good and it definitely was ✨🤗. I ordered a chai latte and a toast with avocado and poached eggs 😋.

Paid a visit to Cafe Maya as it was a cafe that I haven't tried yet. They serve the usual breakfast and caff stuff so I had the ham, egg ad chips as I wanted to compare to my favourite place. The ham was the meaty type and the egg had a crispy base. Overall, it was ok, just another cafe ticked off.

Affordable price in the area. Always good to have greasy spoons options. The ham, egg and chips were tasty.

Is this a joke? I paid £9.45 for ‘Vegetarian Full English Breakfast’ but got this tiny kids-sized portion.

We had our breakfast the entire stay there nobody wanted to go anywhere else. The staff is very friendly too. Do t expect to be hungry for lunch !

Imagine this costs 10.90 (charged 11£ on the bill for some reason). When I asked why this was 11£ the guy said you don’t know from Mediterranean products, while I am literally from a Mediterranean country.

Fantastic cafe with plenty of choice and hearty meals. We’ve been there now a couple of times for breakfast and the staff are friendly without being over bearing. The menu is well priced with an incredible amount of choice for kids and adults alike.

Perfect breakfast stop. Busy, but kept spotlessly clean and tidy. Great menu- lots and lots of choice. We had the full English but everything that came out of the kitchen looked good. Freshly squeezed juices made to order. Friendly staff. We got some delicious cakes to take away as well. Would recommend.

We chose to have breakfast here after staying in the Travelodge up the road and we are glad we did. We were warmly welcomed by the friendly staff and quickly served. The food was great quality and value for money with portion size. I also particularly enjoyed the freshly squeezed orange juice. At one point my mother started coughing and the lovely waitress checked she was ok and brought her some water. Would definitely recommend for breakfast!

The breakfast was great, well worth a visit. The woman serving was so helpful and caring. Helping a young child who wasn't feeling well, going above and beyond.

Food and atmosphere was really nice and i would go again- but I have one small gripe. I asked for tap water and the waiter said it would be a wait for the tap water because its really busy and offered me bottled water instead. I took this to mean he would give me the bottle of water for free since tap water is free and I was doing him a favour as it would take him less time. Our bill then had the bottle of water on it. I thought that was a bit underhanded way to make me spend more money.

V Cafe Maya, kjer smo mimogrede komajda dobili sedež, ponujajo široko izbiro zajtrkov, med katerimi smo se odločili za tradicionalni angleški zajtrk. Bilo je okusno v vsem smislu, ki ga premore angleška kulinarika. Zraven se je prilegel tradicionalni zeleni čaj z mlekom👌

Idilic location for catching the early morning sun whilst you eat your breakfast. Staff are diligent and efficient. Barely a wait for food to be served after ordering and every component of the full english cooked perfectly.

We were in London a year ago and came here for breakfast, and loved it so much we went again the next day. This year we were staying further away, but it was worth the 25-minute walk to get there again. Very good breakfast, nice little place, staff friendly but not intrusive. Good value. Will definitely go back each time we are in London.

FIRST OF ALL, I JUST WANT TO SAY THAT THIS RESTAURANT IS A DISGRACE TO POLISH FOOD. TO MAKE THEIR SOUPS THEY USE SOUP SACHETS WHICH ARE WORTH UP TO 1 POUND IN THE POLISH SHOP AND SELL THE WATER FOR £5.50, BECAUSE THERE IS NO VEGETABLES IN THE SOUP AND THEY DON'T COOK THE SOUP FROM SCRATCH. I DON'T KNOW HOW THEY CAN LIVE WITH THEMSELVES KNOWING WHAT THEY DOING AND KNOWING THAT THIS IS NOT RIGHT BUT STILL THEY DO IT! DISGUSTING!!!!

Although the food here is really nice my reason for only two stars is justified. I ate here a month ago (poached eggs beans on toast) the food was served minus the beans. This time round…. I ordered the same again (poached eggs beans on a toasted bagel) the bagel arrived on a side plate, the poached eggs on another but no beans. I asked for beans but the waiter thought I meant bacon. Anyway we eventually got there and the food was nice. Shouldn’t be such an effort to order a simple meal.

Very warm ambience and welcoming staff. Food was really yummy and freshly cooked. Plus the coffee would please an Italian! We went for egg and bacon bagel and the set 4 breakfast. Strongly recommend.
