We had an amazing anniversary dinner. One of the best pork chops I've eaten, perfectly cooked. The confit potatoes were golden crispy and the portion sizes were great. The staff gave us a card signed by all of them and the service was amazing. Lucia made sure that we were taken care of and gave us a perfect service. Would recommend to anyone looking for great food and service. Will be coming back since it's 5 minutes away from my house.

Had high expectations for The Quality Chop House, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. For the price, I was expecting more. We ended up spending £300 for two people, which seemed pretty steep for what we got. The wine was just average, and the steaks, while decent, were undercooked at first. Thankfully, the chefs were great about it and refired them to get them right. That said, the steaks weren’t anything special, and I really think adding some sauces to the menu would help elevate the experience. The default sauce just didn’t do it for me. On the plus side, the confit potatoes, chuck, and terrine were absolutely fantastic – really the highlight of the meal. The service, though, was excellent, and we had a great time overall. In short, I’m not sure the value is there for me, but the service and a few standout dishes made the experience enjoyable.

I recently enquired about booking a lunch for 8. Unfortunately, large sizes need the private room, which was already booked, and the staff failed to offer any alternative solutions to accommodate us. The maître d' did not suggest rearranging tables to seat us nearby, which was surprising given our group size, and the number of available seats on open table. Although it was an early Monday morning, the lack of genuine customer service and willingness to assist was disappointing. She clearly did not want to secure this booking. As a large employer in the area, it's unfortunate that they are allowing potential business to slip away.

I originally wanted the Sunday roast at Quality Chop House but ended up going at 12 noon due to no availability the weekend I was in London. The restaurant, away from the touristy areas, had a local vibe which was a nice touch. I tried the Suffolk lamb leg, wedge salad, and Somerset stracciatella with some wine – all delicious and satisfying. I even had leftover lamb! I'd probably return here to dine. BTW, if you're a fan of the Netflix show Lockwood & Co., it's just a 10-min walk from the filming location of "35 Portland Row", a lovely way to wrap up the meal and explore quieter parts of London!

Was disappointed with the steaks at quality chop house. The sauces on the steaks just ruin the meat in my opinion. We had the ribeye, pork loin and lamb chop as mains and did not like any of them. The starters were great. Service staff also great.

The best dish though is the stake, takes up to an hour of preparation, the waitress is definitely worth it, meat is so tasty, rish and melts in your mouth. It is a pleasant place, but I would not say it is exceptional. The meats were very flavorful; however, all of our medium orders were served medium-rare. The staff was attentive and helpful. The tables and benches are extremely narrow—visually in harmony with the ambiance but far from comfortable or ergonomic for dining. The prices are significantly high, making you feel as if you were dining in Mayfair.

Cannot follow why this place has such an average rating: the food is just ok, seats are limited in space and rather uncomfortable, wine is expensive for its quality (as an example we got a Syrah that in Vivino average retail price was 8 euros and the price on the restaurant was 64 GBP);overall overpriced and nothing special.

Without a shadow of a doubt this place makes the best pork I've ever had in my life. From the moment I called to make a reservation to the moment I left the restaurant I felt so incredibly welcome. The staff here are so of the friendliest I've ever come across in London. Our waitress was super knowledgeable about the food and wine as well as telling us more about where the meat is sourced and how it's cooked. On to the food, the pork chop is just out of this world. The fat is perfectly redenered and the chop is finished with a burnt butter sauce. It's incredible moreish and I've never experienced pork like this before. Finally the olive oil ice cream was sensational. I've had this dish before somewhere else but this version was unreal. Creamy, salty and rich a perfect way to end the meal.

Very Average, that’s about it really. For the price I would have expected a much smoother experience. The croquettes were the highlight of the meal, absolutely delicious, but everything else was below average. The bone in Ribeye at £100, I would expect to practically fall off the bone, but it was very chewy and full of sinew to the point at least 25% wasn’t eaten. The service was also extremely slow, over an hour for the steak, and 15 min between clearing the plates and offering the dessert menu. Including drinks we spent over £400 for 4.5 (child) people, which for the quality and service was awful. There’s just something missing from this place, not sure if it’s just overhyped or they are trying too hard, but we won’t be returning and felt very disappointed from the experience.

I’ve had a lot of steak in London, but this one? Easily the best. The Highland sirloin was cooked to perfection—that 2001 R. López de Heredia Viña Tondonia Rioja? Stunning. Aged beautifully, balanced, and a perfect match for the steak. It wasn’t just the steak—the entire set menu was fantastic. Service was friendly and professional, but there was a small hiccup with the bill. OpenTable’s wording made it seem like I had already paid in advance, so I was caught off guard when I was presented with the bill. I asked the waiter, and the manager came over to clarify that I hadn’t actually paid yet. They were completely right, but OpenTable’s phrasing could be much clearer. All that aside, this was an outstanding meal, and I’d absolutely go back—especially for that steak and Rioja.

Exceptional steak, I got the Highlands Serloin 400g, which was seriously well cooked, medium rare, sitting in this delicious gravy which brought out the savoury flavour to the highest possible level. I asked for more gravy. We had a side of the confit potatoes which paired very well, sourdough bread and the croquettes to nibble on before. Price is the price, but worth it. Best steak of my life along with the A5 grade wagyu I had in Japan.

Visit London on a trip I visited for dinner after hearing the good reviews. All the food was delicious and the wine was also very good. All the staff were polite and friendly, and I really enjoyed eating in an unfamiliar foreign country. The store was lively and we had a great time. The food was nice in parts. The potatoes are amazing. The lamb chops were sadly extremely fatty, not one person in our party felt that the crops were particularly high quality. The tables are very close together, the seats are incredibly small, you are basically perching for two hours on what can only be described as a pew. Desert was very good.

Estaba muy emocionada por mi primer almuerzo del domingo en la Quality Chop House. Estaba muy decepcionado. Tres de las cuatro personas de nuestro grupo inicialmente tenían los mejillones. La mitad nunca debió haber sido suministrada porque no estaban abiertas. Las patatas asadas de un amigo tenían un pelo. Aunque es genial que recibimos un 50% de descuento en la factura, no pude disfrutar de la cocina a pesar de que realmente quería. El postre era parte de la comida del domingo, sin embargo ninguno de nosotros aprovechó la oportunidad. Me temo que no volveré, lo cual es lamentable porque realmente quería saborear la comida.

Wow. They were not lying when they said QUALITY chop house. Each dish was absolute perfection, tasty fresh ingredients, the quality is outstanding. The beef was like butter. They also catered to my intolerance well and allowed me to substitute a starter. Absolutely loved this place for Sunday roast, waited 2 months for a reservation and I will definitely be going back. Super high quality, never typically return to restaurants in London with there being so many great choices but we will 100% be going back here. Pricey, but worth it, the best fancy roast in London hands down.

We just ate dinner here for my birthday and 10/10 it was a great experience. We arrived to a birthday card signed presumably by the whole staff which was kind of funny. The apps, wine, steak, and confit potatoes were excellent - actually better than I expected and I had high expectations to begin with. Also loved that it was a bit of a hole in the wall and very fast service considering the quality of the food.

I finally managed to be free on a Sunday and I booked for the Sunday roast. I wanted to come for a long time but was never free. I must say it exceeded my expectations. I knew it was going to be good but it was not just good, it was magnificent. The service, the atmosphere, the buzz, and the food were just perfect. I started with the cod roe and padron peppers plus the bread and cultured butter. Then I had the ham, the beef brisket with all the trimmings, and a treacle tart to end what has been an absolutely perfect meal. I drunk excellent wines, a great white to go with the cod roe, then another for the ham, and a red to go with the brisket . The dessert was paired with Pol Roger and the incredibly nice sommelier made me taste a Marsala. They even gave me a salted caramel mini fudge to go with it. Amazing ! I must stress the service has been The best I had in a very long time. Everybody is competent, efficient, smiling, and they know what to recommend and how to make people feel good. I am truly impressed and can’t wait to go back. Thank you so much guys you are incredible !

We really enjoyed dining at QCH. My partner had pigeon and I had the Barnsley chop for a main. Both were delicious. Enough people have raved about the fondant potato, which is definitely not overhyped. It was sublime! We also enjoyed several other starters and had a glass of wine excellently paired by the waiter. Great service and excellent food!

We decided to go back, as last year the overall experience was great, so we wanted to replicate it. Unfortunately this time the service and the beef were a bit too disappointing. Meat was too small and too fatty. The waiter was putting a bit too much pressure on us, they served us 2 courses within 30 mins, it seemed like he just wanted us to leave so he could prepare the table for the next customers. Our friends recommended this hot spot and it was amazing! The servers were so kind and accommodating. You really feel like you are part of London’s history when you eat here. Everything was delicious. We started with the Devils on Horseback (a must!), the Loch Duart Salmon Belly, and then followed it by Parmesan Gnocci with chanterelle, hazelnut and black winter truffle (also very good), the Hereford Sirloin (like butter!), and the Aberdeen Angus bone-in ribeye (best steak we’ve ever had!). We had the Confit Potatoes and Brussels sprouts with chestnuts and bacon sides. Both were very tasty. Even the bread was perfection. I would definitely recommend this spot!

We had a lovely mid-week dinner at Chophouse. We ordered the set menu so that we could try a selection of the food, and were happy with the variety. The steak and mince pie were the stars of the show. The sides were disappointing with not a lot of ‘wow factor’. I particularly enjoyed the details of the restaurant including the vintage style plates, Sheffield steel cutlery and cloth hand towels in the bathroom. We were in and out of the restaurant quickly, so something to keep in mind if you are looking for a ‘long-lunch’ or ‘long-dinner’ vibe, the food arrived fast and the staff were very attentive. The dessert wines didn’t have prices and our waitress wasn’t sure how much they were by the glass which meant we didn’t order any. We also thought the whole experience was on the more expensive side, in comparison to other restaurants we have dinned at recently.

It was the 4th time I've visited the restaurant on 5 December - I've been a cheerleader since I first went and couldn't wait to return for the festive menu. It started well, we were able to move our table when we got to the restaurant which was appreciated, but quite a disappointing/confusing experience: - The steak as part of the festive menu, is actually 1 smallish portion to share. I get it's a tasting menu, but, meh - No potato/carb or sauce to go with the main - half a steak portion and soggy parsnips/sprouts. - Mince pie tart was dry with clotted cream like it had been tossed next to it. - There was an optional cheese course that we would have both had - but we were given the bill without prompt straight after the dessert, whilst we still had half a bottle of wine left. The card machine brought over and asked if we'd like to split when we were nowhere near finished and hadn't requested the bill. Felt like we'd outstayed our welcome when the restaurant was still packed with everyone tucking into their mains. If it was early and they needed the table, maybe you understand (if you were being really kind) - or if we were the last in and everyone wanted to go home. It was neither. Great service, a good vibe and prices aren’t crazy but the food was bit mixed. The chicken liver and foie gras parfait with truffle was amazing, as were the roast parsnips but the lamb chop had good flavour but was rather chewy.

I go to QCH once for a year, and every time I’m there I’m thinking “damn I forgot how good this restaurant is”. The quality of the ingredients is unmatched, the level of creativity for the dishes is absolutely outstanding. At this level this is just art. Please, please, please, listen to staff recommendations, they try and know the dishes. The best meals I’ve had there were those I didn’t think to order at first, just like this candied bacon that looked like stiffy toffee pudding. This absolutely blew my mind.

Had a great dinner her with great people. We had booked a table for 2 to celebrate my birthday. Tried to make it 4, but unfortunately they didn’t have space. On the day we received a phone call that they could make it 4 if we were happy with that. The dinner was perfect! They signed a small birthday card and the dessert came with a candle. All the small touches together make this one of the best places to eat. Thanks to the whole quality chop team!

Food is fine. Sunday menu is good, likely warrants 4 stars. The reasoning for 3 stars is solely down to the service which felt very rushed. While our waitress was polite throughout her behaviour at the end of the meal tainted our experience. It was very clear that they were trying to close the restaurant and our waitress just continued to snatch items off the table as we finished. It was rude and could have been managed better.

We booked the Hen and Chicken for 20 people very last minute for our pre wedding drinks last weekend. It wasn’t a problem for Nadine, and when we arrived an hour later she’d set us up with the high tables we requested and was welcoming and very accommodating from the moment we stepped in. The wedding was a surprise for our guests and Nadine helped us keep it that way, helping to stash some of our wedding stuff and keeping everyone well watered. We couldn’t have asked for more from her, and she really helped our day to be what it was. At some point during the day everyone said ‘and how lovely was that barmaid today’. It’s the kind of place you’d pop in for a swift one and end up staying all afternoon. If you want a well looked after pub in a top location, with great drinks and service with smile, this is the place for you.

Mi pareja y yo nos alojamos en el hotel y desayunamos aquí un domingo por la mañana. El servicio fue eficiente y extremadamente amable. Nos pidieron bebidas en el momento en que nos sentamos, que me pareció genial porque sabemos que queremos café / jugo. La comida llegó en un gran momento y era delicioso. Lugar perfecto - no hay necesidad de salir del hotel para encontrar algo bueno.
