I absolutely loved the new location, atmosphere was brilliant and cosy. The food was a 10/10 I would highly recommend to anyone planning to visit, I will definitely be returning!!

Underwhelming.it was supposed to be a great birthday family dinner. Sadly, the food did not deliver. We had 4 lamb shank roast dinners and they looked great on the plate however, they were tasteless and dry. This was mentioned at the end of the meal, and the response was that the comments would be passed onto the chef. The restaurant was small and very dated and in need of repair, and in a very run-down location. The cost of the meals was quite high for the poor quality we revlceived. Sorry, not somewhere I would recommend or return to.

My daughter had the Sunday roast , which was delicious. I had the slow cooked shank with trimmings and my daughter had the beef , which was perfectly cooked.

The food was burnt. We weren't offered a replacement or a discount. I was promised a call back from the manager to arrange a discount, but I never received a call. The whole experience was terrible from start to finish. I would recommend avoiding The Great Chase as it does not live up to its expectation.

The Main Course: The star of the show was undoubtedly the Halal Sunday Beef Roast. I savoured every bite of the tender beef roast, perfectly cooked to melt-in-your-mouth perfection. The accompanying Roast Potatoes, Roasted & Spiced Carrots, Parsnips, and Cauliflower added a delightful medley of flavours to the dish. The Tenderstem and Neeps Puree provided a unique twist, while the stuffing, Yorkshire Pudding (which was not my favourite), and rich gravy brought it all together. It was a symphony of flavours that truly delighted the senses. My wife's choice, the Slow Road Lamb Shank & Harrisa Gravy, was equally impressive, with the lamb cooked to succulent tenderness. The Mocktail: To complement our meal, we decided to indulge in The Great Chase's Raspberry Meringue mocktail. It was love at first sip! The mocktail was a refreshing blend of sweet and tangy flavours, with the raspberry infusing a delightful twist. Served in an elegant glass, it was the perfect accompaniment to our main course. Dessert Delights: After such a satisfying meal, we couldn't resist trying the desserts. The Chocolate Mousse was a chocolate lover's dream come true. The velvety texture of the mousse, paired with the Cardamom White Chocolate and Hazelnut Crumb, created a harmonious blend of flavours. The addition of Raspberry Coulis, Orange, and Honey Comb elevated the dish to new heights. For a lighter option, we opted for the Apple Tartine Lemon. The Cinnamon-poached apples added a hint of warmth, while the Tonka Ganache and Crispy Pastry provided a delightful contrast in textures. Cosy halal fine eating. The staff was extremely attentive and we were warmly welcomed on arrival. The manager gave us a little introduction about the meal and explaining little details, which was a really nice touch. We had the iftar set menu. We were firstly given dates and bread with date butter......which was really tasty! The quality of the food was good, portion sizes were great. Presentation and dishes were well thought out. They gave us fresh cutlery after every course. The parsnip veloute was very velvety and brisket was very tender and juicy. It is so lovely to have a halal restaurant, which isn't just burgers or pizza! Would definitely again.

I recently dined at The Great Chase with my husband and I cannot recommend it enough. The service was fast and we were constantly being looked after. The manager himself took the time to kindly explain the components of our dishes as they came out which was extremely helpful. Just had the pleasure of dining at the great chase with my wife. It was a truly unique dining experience. The manager personally explained to us the menu and the components of each dish as it came out. The flavours were amazing and I was left feeling happy, full and satisfied. I would definitely recommend this place if you want to treat someone or is looking for unique flavours with 100% halal menu (including drinks!).

The food was great as always, made even better by the warm and welcoming staff, and relaxing ambience of the restaurant even though it looked to be at full capacity. The waiters took their time to go through recommendations for the dinner from the roast menu and they were spot on. Highly recommended and the bonus being everything on the menu is halal! The food was absolutely banging!!! We had the lamb and chicken roast. I won’t even talk about the raspberry meringue cocktail..!!! (alcohol free!) It was just made to perfection and I can’t even describe how goo it was, you just need to try and recommend 150%!! Staff was sooo lovely.
