The menu said £5.50 but the bill was £7.50 per pie. The mash was cold and the pie tasteless.A service charge was added on.The horrible american waitress then said this is all our fault.We will not be comming back to this horrible place with the cold and tasteless food.Stay away as it is a horrible place

On arrival at 10.20 told we have 5 mins before the kitchen closes. No mince meat pies. 2 of the 3 beers not available. None of the sweets I want available. Quicker to ask what they DO have

If you are ever at Kings Cross station, please look for Piebury Corner! We wandered in looking for dessert the first time (and found it), and wished we hadn't eaten dinner in the station. Dessert pies are served with an amazing little jug of warm custard! We went back 3 times for dinner, as the Venison and Red Wine Pie, and other dinner pies were amazing and more the cost of fast food rather than the prices pubs charge for pies. There are 3 flavors of mashed potatoes, and little jugs of red wine gravy, or horseraddish sauce. They also serve great beer and ciders!

A very good place to quickly pick up lunch or breakfast. The dishes are simple, but at the same time you can feel their quality. First-class ingredients, all fresh and delicious. All I can complain about is the prices, but hey, after all, it's London. Overall the experience is very positive :)

This is the first place I go to for a drink...after leaving K/X stn. 5 min. walk after a 2.5 hr. train journey from N/cle Just sit and relax..take in the aroma from the fab food served here. Great start to a 4 day stopover. Returning in 2020.

Came upon this place whilst walking in the area. Had no idea if good or bad. It was fantastic! In fact, it was so good the first night that we went back a second night. So busy, you need reservations or it can be a bit of a wait. We were able to get a place to sit only because we happen to be there between other reservations (and are fast eaters). Had the Steak and Ale, Steak and Kidney and Vegetarian Goat Cheese Pies. ALL were absolutely amazing. Staff very friendly too.

The food in here is always top notch. Great pies, great beer, and fantastic people working there. If I could give 10 stars I would.

I got to visit Piebury this week. I ordered the "Charlie George" mince beef and onion pie, with minted peas and roast potatoes. The meal was fantastic and very flavoursome. The whole meal tasted great and I would recommend you visit Piebury before you visit the Emirates. Great food and friendly service are pretty much guaranteed here. COYG.

Excellent choice of pies, both of the savoury and sweet variety - I had pork, apple and stuffing with potatoes and vegetables followed by cherry pie with cream. Funky decor inside and great drink selection. Only thing that stops it being a 5 star review was that the service was a little slow in places - had to ask for drinks a couple of times and often plates weren’t fully cleared away etc. Improve that and the place is perfect, I will be back.

We go here every match day. Great pie selection, Tony Adams being my particular favourite, brilliant selection of cider and beer to wash it down. Highly recommend

Me and my sister went to this restaurant recently. We had booked a table a while back. We had Steak and Kidney pie and Steak and Ale pie with sides of potato roasts and carrots. The meal was delicious and well cooked.

Pies were of a good standard but lacked in flavour for me. Roast tatties were deep fried, hard outside and mushy in the middle. Not one for me to revisit and I love my pies

Tres de las tartas se vendieron por completo, no había huevos escoceses, tuvimos que avisar repetidamente a los camareros para llamar su atención a pedir más bebidas, recibieron dos de nuestros pedidos incorrectamente, la comida tardó una eternidad en llegar y no estábamos Estoy impresionado en absoluto. Realmente decepcionante y en realidad un precio tan ridículo que pagar, teniendo en cuenta que hay muchos lugares fantásticos para almorzar en Kings Cross. I had come the Tony Adams, which is steak and ale with gravy and roast potatoes, my wife had the Dennis Bergkamp, which is chicken, ham and leak, also with gravy and roast potatoes. They are well made pies created with lean meat. A great treat before a match at the home of football. And it only cost sixteen quid.

Qué lugar. Grandes tartas, grandes lados, personal servicial, ambiente maravilloso en los días de partido. He tenido el Dennis Bergkamp (jamón de pollo y puerro) y el Thierry Henry (venado y vino tinto) con puré, salsa y un huevo de tocino escocés. Perfecto y se lo recomendaría a cualquiera. En el lado más caro para tartas, pero tal vez incluso el mejor que he tenido!

Tiny little place that does not look like much. As it was evening we were inside. The pies were delicious and the staff extremely friendly. It had a welcoming vibe. Extremely reasonably priced for London. Going again next time we visit London.

On match day with a DJ outside playing funk and soul on vinyl. A great soundtrack to my very tasty Tony Adams steak pie meal with mash and minted peas washed down with a pint of Camden Pale Ale. Lovely staff and friendly atmosphere even with hoards of Lisbon fans wondering what the deal was...Not many tables but worth the wait...A must-do if you haven't done!

I went here with my wife on an Arsenal match day about 90 mins before the match and it wasn't too crowded but the atmosphere was buzzing. I got the Ray Parlour pie, pork, apple and stuffing with mashed potatoes, gravy and mushy peas which was delicious. We were also happy to find they had some vegetarian options and even a special veggie curry pie that my wife loved. You can eat the pies cold, warm, or get the full plate with mash and gravy and we were even able to find a spot to sit inside and enjoy a pint and a ginger beer. The service was very good, and they all look genuinely happy to be there.

Oh, after a trip to the Emirates Stadium tour, we had to stop at Piebury corner. Lovely service and really super pies! Filling on a cool day - great flavors too. Perhaps my son and I should have thought through the mash and the potatoes (both excellent, but probably could have diversified), but with the proper amount of gravy, all was splendid.

The ham, chicken, and leek pie was wonderful, as was the steak and ale pie. The crusts were amazing. Service was friendly and prompt. If there was a negative it would be the mash ... I’d bet they were instant. BUT, we would happily return.

Just what you need before a football match, a good old pie, mash and gravy or spuds if you prefer.. Bloody lovely. And the great vinyl music being played is great. Ok value and a must visit...

I gave it a try after a few friends suggested it, and had an amazing lunch! Great visiting time, ordered a traditional scotch egg and some pudding, it all tasted very good, simple but well made, and not expensive at all.

Excellent place. Busy on a match day, but no queue. Just lots of good atmosphere. DJ outside playing old skool dub and reggae on his little turntables. Excellent Dennis Bergkamp pie and mash. (other players also available :-) )

We visited near Holloway tube and were very pleased with the service and the food. The pies were golden and buttery, with a very high filling content. A bit more onion in the Charlie Nicholas would make it even better. Gravy and mash a comforting accompaniment. The shop itself has great character and its cozy size does not mean they compromise on comfort. They have a 5 rating for food hygiene, a huge variety (next time I will get the Vieira-getarian) and maybe even have room for a banoffee pie for pudding. Highly recommend.

A broad selection of savoury pies - something for everyone! The chicken, leek & ham and the chicken balti are personal favourites. The roast potatoes are delicious. Piebury pie + roast potatoes + gravy = great lunch!

We stopped off here for lunch before going to an Arsenal game. The place is tiny with only a few seats inside and outside but the real attraction are the pies. They are quite good and they have many options to chose from. And... each pie is named after an Arsenal legend or a current member of the squad. My kids and I chose the "Thierry Henry" venison & red wine pie. Even the name of the place is a play on Arsenal heritage... "Pie-bury". The owner was great and as soon as a table opened up, he shuttled us to it. They have a dj playing music on the small patio. Good fun before the game.

Love Piebury corner! Been going for many years and never had a bad experience. The jerk chicken is pretty special and so is the steak and Stilton. Also try their scotch eggs... superb! Great range of craft beers and also really great service.... whether eating in or taking away. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work Piebury corner!

After reveling in finding the brick I had inscribed at the Emirates, I realized I had a problem...I was hungry after flying over from Boston and hadn’t had anything since the lame yogurt they gave us on the plane. Let’s rewind, when I arrived at my AirBnB, this place popped up and I was to say the least, intrigued. We basically don’t have any savory pie options in the US besides pot pies, which are gross compared to pies in the UK or Australia. OK, let’s focus, I walk in and there’s a display case showing off their wares. As a fan of the yeoman footballers, I went with the Tony Adams, a Steak and Ale pie. I poured some gravy on and dug in. Total flavor explosion, really great crust and tender beef. To top it off, I washed it down with a Guinness West Indies Porter, which, you guessed it, we don’t have in the states. Add the R & B and Soul playing on the speaker and this place is pretty much perfect for me. I’ll probably go again before I hear back to Boston in a few days.

Hace poco fuimos de vacaciones en un tren Eurostar, a partir de. Nos alojamos en Londres la noche antes y la noche después de las vacaciones en sí. En nuestra primera noche nos encontramos Piebury esquina. Nos encantó. Buena comida y una botella realmente precioso de Sussex amargo. El personal también era encantador y muy servicial. También disfrutamos de la elección de la música. Como nos gustó tanto que hemos vuelto después de nuestras vacaciones. Todo era lo mismo, aparte de la música. Esta vez tenían dos niños caballeros jugando registros en una terraza individual. La música era buena, pero ¿por qué no tienen que jugar, así puedo alabarlos. No podía hablar, era tan puedo alabarlos. La comida y el servicio eran geniales, pero no nos quedamos. Estamos en nuevo cuando estamos cerca del área, pero le daría un pierde si la música era como puedo alabarlos de nuevo. No estoy seguro de lo que esperábamos para añadir a la experiencia. La anterior música era variada e interesante, y estaba en el sonido nivel justo para lo que es una habitación pequeña.

Visited on Saturday with a large group. There are some really great choices of pies on offer, I had ox cheek, venison and mushroom, it was amazing! Great creamy mash and lovely gravy too!

Called in as fed up with carluccios in Kings Cross Station. Good simple food. Very filling even if the pie looked small. Very handy for the station. Recommended

My son and I went to Piebury corner, Holloway Road, before our Arsenal Stadium tour. I had the Aaron Lambsey pie and my son had the Ian Wright pie, both were delicious as was the mashed potato and the gravy was amazing. The staff were efficient and friendly. Fully recommend the every Arsenal fan (and anybody else who enjoys good wholesome food)!!

Wow where do I begin? The scotch eggs(carmelized onion and the traditional herb) were equally incredible. Perfectly fried with a perfect balance of seasonings and all of the flavor component came through but were not over powering. The steak and ale pie was to die for! The crust was light, flaky, perfectly cooked and really compliment the flavor of the tender steak. And the tatties! I think these potatoes came from heaven! They also serve a little jug of gravy with your food, and who could say no to that?! Also they play great music and it’s a chill vibe. If you’re in London YOU MUST EAT HERE!!!

I have tried many places in London and elsewhere that have boasted about the quality of their pies. Pie and mash is a classic of working class food. When done well its fantastic. Sadly you are more likely to eat a pale imitation than one...

Rude owners, £2.50 for a small ashtray of beans or coleslaw, £3 a can of coke and mediocre food. Please don't waste your time or money.

I'm an Arsenal fan, and this place is part of the very fabric of my matchday experience. Every time I go to watch my team, the very first place I go to is Piebury. I recommend either the Thierry Henry (venison in red wine gravy really is a delight for the tastebuds) or the Tony Adams pie, both with mashed potato or roast potatoes (I'm Scottish so we refer to them as tatties) - but the real kicker is the gravy. It is heaven in condiment form, and will leave you contemplating whether to shame yourself in public by licking the plate Then there is the decor - heaven for Gooners - and an eclectic musical playlist booming from the speakers. This isn't the place to go for a sedate meal, but if you want wholesome and tasty food with a livewire atmosphere - then you can't beat Piebury. My favourite restaurant.

Come here often before the Arsenal for pies and peas. Have tried most of the menu and they never disappoint.

We visited PIEBURY CORNER prior to the Arsenal v Crystal Palace game, as expected it was busy with customers eating inside and outside, the idea to name their pies after football legends seemed to go down well with the diners, served with either mash or roast potatoes it was delicious. Hot, cold and alcoholic drinks were available along with a DJ playing music outside!

Went here last night on my partner's recommendation after the thing we were at finished later than we expected and got there close to ten. They seemed to be potentially closing up, but stayed open for us which was really kind of them! The pies, mash and extras were really delicious and good value, especially for the area. Great there's a pretty good range of vegan, veggie and meat stuff too, so something for everyone. The layout of the place is really nice - booths in the window and stuff. The music was on point! Frankly if I lived in London I would go just to hang out and drink, or certainly go earlier than or stay longer than my meal - which isn't really something I'd expect to say about a pie and mash shop. Alice the waitress was really friendly too. Will definitely go back.

I had the Charlie George and was one of the best ever along other pies named after Arsenal players that I can't wait to try. Friendly atmosphere and plenty of choices of beverages.....highly recommended.

I popped in for lunch today, it’s the 3rd time I’ve been within the last month. Everything I’ve tried has been really tasty, I had the beef & Guinness pie with roast potatoes and gravy which was excellent. It’s a great place to grab a quick bite to eat, the staff are really friendly and for £9 including a bottle of water you can’t wrong. I’d highly recommend eating here, give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Lovely staff and atmosphere so we were really pleased to spot vegan pies on the menu! We even got sorted out with some vegan gravy! They were absolutely delicious and the seating area outside was very sweet. Would definitely recommend xx

My bestie and I had a pie-date here last night. The veggie pie (goats cheese, butternut squash) was divine - I forgot to ask about the gravy but veggie gravy was supplied anyway from the thoughtful server. Creamy mash was mega-yum and the price was very reasonable.Post-pie, they were very happy to leave us be and gossip, always a plus. Love this place, will be back! Also, the server's glitter-work was on point.

Had an amazing experience visiting Piebury for prematch grub when I saw Arsenal play in the Emirates cup. Not personally an Arsenal fan, but was strongly recommended to visit here for food before a game on the grounds it was an 'institution'. I was not disappointed. Good atmosphere, amazing food. The pies at this place are definitely worth tasting - crumbly pastry deep filled and slathered in rich gravy - but it's the staff that make it. Our waitress was attentive, funny and helpful. From turning off the air con which was mm cold to advice on the best pie (vegetarian or not), she was great. It's a shame the set menu was not so helpful. Pie plus side plus dessert or secon'd ”side plus drink. The drinks were good. The pie nice. But seriously - when was the world's smallet ramekin filled with peas (minted no less) is supposed to be a substitution for dessert? I felt hard done by. Still. Let's raise a glass of unfiltered beer to our server who made the night!

I only got a takeaway pie from here, but I only had to be in the shop for a few of minutes to see the high standards of customer service. The guy behind the counter was very friendly and was clearly well trained. My only disappointment was the onions in vegetarian the pie were still raw, this spoiled a potentially great pie, having said that though I like the shop and the wide selection of pies and will probably eat from here again sometime.

The pies here are excellent. The pastry is firm but not dry and they are filled with big chunks of meat, or other ingredients, not just gravy with bits in!They have a very innovative range of pies and the jerk chicken one was exceptionally good.We didn't eat in but had a take away.

I go to Piebury Corner every time I go to watch the Arsenal, usually with my son, sometimes on my own, and it's part of the match-day ritual. The pies are top notch, I love the mash and Young'n loves the roasties, and there is a good range of beers (although they seem to have stopped stocking Brewdog). It's always busy before a game but worth the wait, and the owner always keeps us entertained by playing great ska/reggae/soul/punk records out front.

We'd just been for a wander around both Highbury and the Emirates Stadiums so it only seemed fitting to have lunch at Piebury Corner; our son recommended them from Arsenal match days. Fantastic pies and gravy with wonderful attentive staff. The pies are named after Arsenal players and there is something for everyone, even vegetarian gravy. It is a very small shop and we sat outside.

Enjoyed delicious pre-match pie before Arsenal vs Man Utd. Wide variety of pies, aptly named after players (Ray Pie-lour, you get the gist!) v quick service through the hatch, delicious spuds and gravy. Gap filled, on to the pub!

Ett litet ställe i Highbury med utsökta pajer. Många udda ölsorter. Du måste köpa mat för att få äta och dricka en öl på deras lilla uteservering. Många av pajerna döpta efter Arsenal-legender. Had a ian wright pie which was steak & Stilton. My partner had Denis Bergkamp which was chicken ham & leek. Which were stunning. Well worth a visit. Met the owner Paul he was a delightful man.
