Popped in for a drink on sat afternoon but after paying £16.20 for a lager and a single gin and tonic I won’t ever go back why everywhere you go you get ripped off no need 😤😤😤

Outstanding. Just off Grosvenor Square, this is an airey, contemporary restaurant with a great menu, glorious food and a great wine list. This was our first visit, we will return!

What a disappointing evening. Had been so looking forward to eating at the iconic Jeremy Lee’s restaurant in Dean Street but ended up feeling like a naughty school girl! The food was so delicious until I had some slightly under cooked cod - it had mostly been lovely and flaky but was a bit gelatinous, sinewy and undercooked in the middle, and I had left this bit on my plate. It was no big deal and I explained this when they cleared the table. I hadn’t asked for a refund or said I wouldn’t pay, however, I was startled some time later to be reacquainted with my leftovers by a server trying to explain that this is apparently how the chef chooses to cook his fish. My uneaten food had been brought back out of the kitchen for all to see like I was some naughty school girl who hadn’t finished her dinner! The server continued to explain until I was left saying how uncomfortable he was making me feel. They said they wouldn’t charge for the dish and would we like to go for a free drink in the members’ bar - no thanks! Really don’t expect to be grilled like that in any restaurant but was so disappointed to feel like this here. Must just say, the chicken pie is to die for though and our original server was an absolute peach! 😅

A superb choice amongst the hubub of Leicester Square. Blink and you may miss the understated doorway. But don't! Have been a number if times as it never disappoints. Cheese, wine, Ham & Cheese Pie or whatever else on the menu. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Had a delicious 5 course menu today using Christmas voucher we were given. Fantastic cocktail included and every course was wonderful. Best steak I’ve ever tasted and cooked to perfection. Attentive staff and lovely atmosphere. Yes extra to pay but only minimal for wine and service charge. Couldn’t fault anything today

The best meal I had in London. Everything was excellent, the dishes, the atmosphaire, the hospitality. We would like mr Kostas and mrs Mariane for their service.

The breakfast was overcooked and despite it being afternoon the eggs and bacon appeared to be leftovers from breakfast. At over £18 total waste of miney

We went to the Blue Boar for Sunday roast, and were extremely disappointed. The service was fine, but the quality of the food was very sub-par. The Yorkshire pudding was so overcooked it was hard as a rock and tasted burnt. Product this overcooked should have been thrown out rather than served. The roast beef was very gristly and fatty. At least 25% of the roast beef serving was inedible fat and gristle. The roast beef was also overcooked. It was our understanding the Blue Boar was known for their Sunday roast, but our experience was just plain bad.

If only we had discovered this absolute gem on our first day in London, we’d have been there every day! Such a beautiful, cozy, and welcoming atmosphere with a historic touch. My partner and I had the classic Scotch Egg, Leak and Apple Sausage Roll, and the Beef and Ale Pie. They were outstanding, especially when paired with delicious beer and service that made us feel at home. Angus, like the beef ;), was so welcoming, friendly, and excited to make for us such a wonderful experience. You’d be remiss if you don’t get to enjoy Walker’s of Whitehall when you’re in town. They’re a big reason for my wanting to go back to London as soon as possible. Do yourself a favor and experience it for yourself! 😁🍺

Worst afternoon tea I have ever experienced. We booked with a voucher for two. On arrival, we were told it was booked for one (which they later admitted was their mistake). No menu for hot drinks even though it is afternoon tea. We asked for tap water which tasted awful. There coffee machine was broken and had no back up . Food tasted stale, very dry and was just not nice . Completely empty too, never have I had an afternoon tea and the place has been empty!

Food was limited (a number of items on the menu were unavailable) But otherwise service (food and drink) was good and great atmosphere for the football.

Favourite place for drinks and quick sandwich. Lots of privacy with attentive service.
