This stunning restaurant not only has beautiful interiors but serves up some of the most delicious Lebanese food. We started with their creamy, smooth hummus and refreshing tabbouleh, packed with fresh parsley, tomatoes, onion and bulgur. The falafel and batata hara (spicy potato cubes) were tasty, while the halloumi had the perfect smoky flavour, paired with fresh veggies. For salads, the fattoush with its crispy Lebanese bread, sumac, and pomegranate molasses hit all the right notes. For mains, we savoured an aubergine and chickpeas casserole with rice. And for dessert we indulged in their signature knafeh (that delightful cheese with vermicelli) alongside baklava and a comforting rice pudding, all finished off with a refreshing cup of mint tea. Highly recommend this spot for any Lebanese food lover!

The food was decent, but the service was bad. There's no front of house staff so it took us 10 minutes to even get seated, tables were not cleaned after the previous guests left so we couldn't sit there. Then it took another 10 minutes to get our menus! We were also sad to hear that they had no shawarma. Being a Lebanese restaurant, you'd think they have such a popular dish. The food was decent, and the mixed grill meat was cooked well and juicy so no complaints there, aside from the fact that it's a little on the pricey side. However, the poor, slow and inattentive service really affected our experience.

I’ve eaten here twice, once for takeaway and the other at the restaurant in a large group. The takeaway was underwhelming, but the food was much better at the restaurant. It’s still overpriced - what you’re paying for is the ambiance because the decor inside is beautiful. I still found that both locations of the Cedar had better food for less money. The service was also quite slow yet somehow still hectic. I’d come back if a friend wanted to go, but I probably wouldn’t seek it out on my own, since there are so many similar but cheaper options in town. The one area where this restaurant really excelled was the baklava.

What a disappointment! I booked the table in Marble Room to celebrate my birthday. We walked in and were met with NO interest from the staff: we waited to be seated but eventually picked a table ourselves and sat down. It took ages to attract waiter's attention to get the menus (both rooms were half empty...), we asked for tap water whilst deciding what to order but never received it. After 15 minutes of no service we decided to leave. I was upset as the venue looked gorgeous with all the marble and chandeliers, and I wanted to have a special time in a special restaurant. It is frankly unthinkable that such venue is being wasted away under such poor management. A great great shame!

We recently visited Maroush St John's Wood Crockers Folly for a Father's Day meal and was left thoroughly disappointed. The experience was marred from the outset by the maitre d', who was both rude and grumpy upon our arrival. Despite noticing that we had a young baby with us, no offer was made to provide a baby seat, which I found to be a glaring oversight. The service was slow and unaccommodating. We waited for 20 minutes just to be told that they did not have a drinks menu. The staff member who took our order was sour-faced and rude, adding to the overall negative atmosphere. The food, when it finally arrived, was cold. A basic falafel wrap took an astonishing 30 minutes to be served which we had to cancel. The final straw came when we had to walk over to the bar to get our bill because no one was available to assist us. To add insult to injury, we were double charged for a dish. When we provided feedback about our experience, the response was that they were short-staffed. However, given that it was Father's Day, a day they would have known about well in advance, one would expect better capacity planning. To make matters worse, the manager was seen berating a waitress in front of guests. This was not only unprofessional but also contributed to an unwelcoming, unfriendly, and demoralising environment for both staff members and guests. In conclusion, our visit to Maroush Crockers Folly was a letdown. The poor service, cold food, and unprofessional behaviour of the team left a sour taste in our mouths. I would think twice before recommending this restaurant to anyone.

We are so glad to have found this wonderful restaurant. We regularly used Open Table to book our weekend meals and when looking for somewhere nice, I initially passed this restaurant over as the Google search gave the wrong impression of the type of food and place it was. If you want to eat fresh, high quality Lebanese food with five star service and hospitality in beautiful surroundings, this is the place to go. The restaurant is stunningly beautiful, made of different types of marble and with almost an Orient Express feel. The food is to a very high standard and the best Lebanese food I have tasted in London. It has great vegetarian options and the salads are fresh and amazing. I recommend the fattoush with pomegranate sauce. The staff are friendly and go out of their way to accommodate your needs - since first going my family are now regulars and the staff always remember our special requirements. We love Khalil - don’t forget to ask for him! The place is also suitable for people with a disability with an easy access toilet and also wide, spacious seats. I also recommend the pastries and the halloumi is of superb quality (soft, not chewy), with generous portions. As someone who is very fussy, having grown up with a father who was a head chef in a top hotel, I can guarantee that you will not be disappointed. There are also beautiful large tables in the marble dining room if you want to meet up with old friends or have a special occasion. I have no personal affiliation to this restaurant. Five stars. 🌟 Try it.

I have been to this restaurant twice before, granted it was a few years ago. This time I booked it for a late Valentine's meal with my wife and it was shockingly poor. The restaurant was completely empty apart from one other table. On top of that the food that came out, came out very quickly and whilst that might be good normally it was very clear that the food was simply reheated from the afternoon or something. The pastries were not hot and soggy, the batata harra was also barely hot and the mouhamra looked like it had been left out for hours and was stiff, dry and not tasty at all. The experience still cost £50 and it was terrible. The front of house was polite so I will give that but I will not return again sadly.

We tried to get the waiters' attention and even asked for the menu again to make sure we had understood the menu properly. It never came. It did not go off to a good start, as I could not see any public parking anywhere near, we drove around for 5 minutes, but all parking spaces were for residents only. There seems to be not a single parking spot for this restaurant. We eventually had to park in a residents parking bay, as there was no other option. From here onwards it went well. We were very pleasantly surprised by the decor inside. The Restaurant was empty, we were the only guests inside, probably because it was a very late lunch. Service was quick and efficient and the food was good, as we always enjoyed the other Maroush in Edgware Road nearby in the past. Perhaps the only slight negative point would be the long wait for the food to come, but the dishes were perfect, I could not fault these. Altogether a very pleasant experience, except the parking!

Never stopped to eat but had an ice cold beer on a hot day. Beautiful building and very friendly staff with a welcome, relaxed atmosphere. Definitely will return when visiting area again.

i love everything about Maroush Beausham Place and Crockers Folly. The only thing both restaurants and other restaurants get it wrong in my opinion is that when I order Houmas and Bread, I would like both of them to come together or at least the Warm bread after the Houmas and not the other way around - the warm bread comes but nothing to eat it with

great experience. we had some good fresh lebanese food. being a vegetarian lebanese food always works well as there are alot of options to choose from. but getting a nice sit down space where u can go with friends is rare. so this was a spot. ample of parking space. so that worked out too. only thing was we didnt get the hummus with red pepper which we were looking forward too. hopefully they have it the next time around!!

Great food at a reasonable price (for dining out in London). I have found the best approach is ordering for sharing among the party. My go to dish there is the Kastaleta Lamb.

Great reliable food. Good service. Very good options for indoor and outdoor seating with more formal and casual dinning areas.

Beautiful setting, great service and wonderful food. Sat outside on the loveliest of summer evenings and it was very special. Just a lovely restaurant serving exceptional Lebanese food.

Our first time visiting this wonderful place and being "out of towners" were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome we received at the door by James ( nice touch) . The reception, feel, general atmosphere was great and the Sunday dinner was beautiful and well needed. We'll 100% be back on our next visit. Thank you James to you and your lovely staff 😊

Excellent welcome, the servers are really welcoming, kind, smiling and patient despite the language barrier. The dishes are very good, very well cooked and very tasty. The meat is excellent, it is so tender that it melts in your mouth. And even the meat on the children's menu is of very good quality! This restaurant is worth coming to eat there, come with your eyes closed.

Though their 'special' cocktails are gone (and have been for a couple of years now), the bar has finally recouped some of the pizzazz it lost after covid, with a great selection of drinks and some delectable food. Though I will note that the proms happen every year in summer, just around the corner, on most nights. I'm aware of that, so it seems odd that the bar is so apparently unprepared for the influx of patrons following a performance...
