Gran relación calidad-precio... en Picadilly! Estaba trabajando cerca y quería un café y no esperaba encontrar lo que parecía un café de la vieja escuela encantadora en el corazón de Picadilly. Terminó consiguiendo un rollo de aguacate y hullumi (£ 4 ) y americano con leche de avena por £ 6 . 90. . . gran variedad de sándwiches y ensaladas. Gran servicio. Muy impresionante 👏

Una vez que el lugar comienza a estar ocupado, el Sevice se deteriora, especialmente cuando la mayoría del personal es junior. Contrariamente al personal altamente profesional con experiencia, algunos de los nuevos empleados no saben escanear la tarjeta de fidelidad, otros se mueven en círculos tratando de encontrar la mesa adecuada, para entonces el café se enfría ! !

Los vinos son muy caros (teniendo en cuenta que la dueña obtiene sus vinos de Waitrose ... . ) , el ambiente dentro del bar es más muerto que un funeral (en su mayoría solo viejos banqueros racistas y sexistas que regularmente beben y comen allí) y el servicio es atrozmente lento. Yo y varios huéspedes estuvimos esperando durante más de una hora para nuestras patatas fritas. Por no mencionar que el lugar es de ratas, ya que encontré excrementos de ratas debajo del inodoro e incluso debajo de nuestra mesa. Además, en sus menús "Servicio cobran a discreción del cliente", lo que generalmente significa que el propietario de ese establecimiento está pagando mal a su personal, de ahí el servicio de mala calidad. En general, no lo recomendaría en lo más mínimo, especialmente si eres un turista en Londres. Hay mejores lugares de Fish & Chips y bares de vinos en Leadenhall Market que Broker's Wine Bar. I don’t usually write reviews however I’m terribly disappointed with my response from Maddox Tavern , I have chosen to write a review online. Myself and my partner made a visit to Maddox Tavern Mayfair on Friday 9th June 2023. We booked the last available lunch slot way in advance, booked our train tickets and travelled to London. We arrived just before our booked slot. We had a starter , main and cocktail as part of a voucher experience deal. We ate our starters and waited for our mains. The mains arrived and my partner could not eat his piping hot fish pie. I also noted it smelt very fishy. He starting eating the fish pie and said it didn’t taste right and left the fish pie . He said it was very fishy and had an off taste. Before I finished my meal , my partner left the table and went to the bathroom to throw up. The original waitress that greeted us came over , apologised and asked for my partners name and email to write down . Not wanting to make a fuss he declined as there was other customers in ear shot. However he told the waitress to let the chef know the fish was off incase another customer ordered it. We asked for the bill and left. I complained after arriving home and it was passed to a food agency to investigate . Due to my partner not providing ‘samples’ the complaint was dismissed after well over a month. I again passed my complaint to Maddox Tavern and they were ‘satisfied’ the food poisoning was not their issue. The Tavern didn’t acknowledge the rest of my complaint about spending money travelling and eating there for the day to be ruined. Would not recommend .

Tenía un pastel de nata - me costó £ 3 y fue asqueroso. Tomó un bocado y tiró el resto. No me molesté en quejarme ya que había una larga cola pero no volveré.

Paseando por Londres buscando un lugar para tomar un desayuno adecuado, nos topamos con esta joya de café. La señora más encantadora nos sirvió, nada era demasiado problema, creamos nuestros propios desayunos del menú y estaban deliciosos. Todo servido con una sonrisa y una actitud de nada es demasiado problema. ¡Refrescantemente perfecto!

Classic and authentic English pub. Amazing array of gin. Huzzah!

It's a good venue for an office Christmas party.

Great option for sushi, soups, or bowls (hot and cold), good seating, and a fair price. Friendly staff.

Good spot to watch the football, does a nice pint of Guinness and the staff are friendly on top of that. What’s not to like?

The food and drinks were excellent. The waiter who attended us, Sergio, was really nice and kept checking in on us constantly to make sure we were okay.

I had a great chicken burger here. I hadn't realised this pub existed until a 007 treasure hunt took us past it. I went back for a visit and was glad I did.

Tacos were soggy, had hot lamb shank with cold cous cous, which was a bit strange, good beer selection & staff friendly, place was emptying mid evening

Very atmospheric pub with stunnin architecture and good service. Yannick and Rory were fabulous. The starters are honestly the only thing I can recommend here though. The calamari and camembert were delicious but chicken and mushroom pie was extremely bland and the drinks (at least Long Island ice tea and wine) were unimpressive. If you go stick to the starters and what’s on tap!

It's fabulous here. We were treated to lunch on Friday and we had a great experience! Lovely welcome, really appreciated the level of service here! Beautifully laid tables and comfy seating. We enjoyed a cocktail before our meal,It was hard to choose mg main course as there were some great choices on the menu. I thoroughly enjoyed a very nicely cooked Steak and my fries with Truffle and Parmesan were gorgeous. We had some very good Wines with our meal . Everything was superb and we were given lots of time at our table. We were guests of Mr Wright and can honestly say this whole experience really was a treat and we look forward to coming again.
