After a major mishap with our accommodation, stumbled upon. The Allsop Arms. The staff were very friendly and supportive while we tried to sort further accommodation. The food and drinks were exactly what we needed but The staff went over and beyond in their efforts to assist us and make us welcome.

Awesome pub with delicious cask ales, an enormous open space, and a very friendly team! We loved our visit!

Staff are really friendly and chatty. Food was spot on and beer is good and a good selection. Next time I’m in London I’ll be coming back. Nice local pub feel, pleasant surprise.

I had an outstanding experience at Allsop Arms! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and made to feel right at home. Decent beer selection, the new manager is friendly.

Very cozy place to have a few beers and have a pleasant time. The waiters are very friendly and attentive. We took the opportunity to have dinner, because we were staying nearby, and we ordered a Fish&Chips and a bacon and cheese burger. The Fish&Chips was huge and very good and the burger lived up to expectations.

I recently watched the Euro 2024 match between Turkey and Austria at the Allsop Arms Pub, and it was an amazing experience. The atmosphere was electric, with fans from both sides creating a lively environment. Despite the bustling crowd, the staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring prompt service. The pub's wide range of drinks and delicious pub fare added to the enjoyment of the game. The numerous screens provided great views from every corner, making it the perfect spot to catch all the action. The staff’s enthusiasm seemed to bring a bit of luck to our side, enhancing the overall experience. We’ll definitely be back for the quarter-finals – Allsop Arms is now our go-to spot for watching the Euro 2024 matches!

Visited with friends and family before seeing Green Day at Wembley. Sam who served us was very friendly and helpful.

Dropped in today, Ian and team were fantastic. Food ordered, delivered quickly and nice! A shout out to Sam who couldn’t have been more attentive! Will visit again!

Really nice place. Nice atmosphere. Vegan and vegetarian options are excellent. Near national express stop for Stansted airport. The best last stop to enjoy a piece of traditional England before flying home. Raccomended!

After Madame Tussauds, we wanted to sit somewhere. We found this place while walking the streets. The selection of beers was great. I drank cider. The atmosphere of the place is good, I liked the decoration. It was a pleasant pastime.

Fun Pub and the BEST Fish & Chips we’ve ever had!!! Fresh Cod cooked crispy to order and it is a Large serving with plenty of thick chips and English peas too! All very delicious!!! The service was excellent quick and friendly. We will be back!

Super delicious food and beer at a very fair price! We received excellent service here and would come again and again. For 4 meals + 4 beers we paid around €106 (€26 per person).

Used to love green kings pubs for food but in the last year change of menu and quality of food is now not worth the money. Had late lunch on 4/6/24 but all food was cold 😞 (stake, onion rings, garlic bread) and very bland. Mac and cheese felt like was boiled in a bag and very gloopy not with the £££ sorry. I keep trying different pubs as love green kings as a chain but losing faith.

One of our locals at work, we've had a few Christmas dos here. Sunday roast is also decent!

I would have given no stars if that were possible. We were visitors to London so didn't know the area, booked a table online for food but when we arrived it was very busy with what we assume were football fans. The person behind the bar was rude and totally uninterested, refused point blank to even consider that we had booked in good faith. If food is unavailable they should disable the online booking system.

Having eaten at a GreeneKing nr Liverpool St i thought i'd pop in here for a pub lunch and had the staek& ale pie, Monday 22/04/24. Reheated leftovers from Saturday, yeuch and if the pie had any less steak it could've been on the vegetarian menu. I left half of it

Was walking down the street to meet a date and right next to blue topaz music store, found this crazy bar, never knew my date would turn out to be this crazy, we had almost 10 points of beer and walked talked and jollied our way through our lives. May be it's just sometimes when life gets you a place to meet and the connection just happens. Thanks to you folks, especially that girl, not sure what her name was, Prreeti something, was genuinely caring and also for maintaining an amazing ambience and music to the bar as well. ❤️❤️

Came in during a cricket match even though the place is packed. The service by their employee Preethi was good and her service was nice during that packed time.

Came in on a hot. The atmosphere and the staff received us with great gusto. And the cold drinks was quite refreshing and it did energized us. And the staff Preethi greeted us with a smile.

A friend hired a section of the pub for his retirement celebration. Service was ok but some of the bar staff gave the impression that they didn't want to be there. Sadly it was service without a smile. Towards the end another member of staff began her shift and thankfully she was a lot friendlier. Food was good and the pub was quiet for a Friday afternoon.

Un serveur extrêmement désagréable. Pas de bonjour, regard froid limite en colère, hautain, je suis tellement choqué par son manque de respect et son attitude que je suis obligé de mettre la pire des notes. Il a même posé violemment les couverts sur notre table sans jamais un mot ni un regard. Nul nul nul. C’était le 27 décembre 2023 vers 20h. Ce grand monsieur doit changer de métier au plus vite. Je me suis même demandé s’il était raciste envers les français ou autre car il était encore plus désagréable avec nous..?

De part les nombreux avis positifs, je me suis rendu avec mon compagnon le 27/12/23, à votre pub. Étant touriste français, nous n’avons pas été mis au courant qu’il fallait commander au bar, cela serait peut être bien de le préciser dans un premier temps. Après avoir reçu les boissons, je constate que vous remplissez vos boissons avec la moitié de glaçons, ravie. Il faudrait apprendre un à un de vos serveurs l’amabilité. Ni un bonjour, un regard, bon appétit, souhaitez vous des sauces ? Du sel ? De l’eau? Il faudrait lui apprendre le métier aussi, car je pense qu’il n’a rien à faire là. Très très déçu, heureusement que la cuisine rattrape la note, c’était délicieux. En tout cas on ne reviendra pas, et on ne le conseillera pas non plus.
