We were really looking forward to a decent Sunday lunch after reading the reviews however we were really disappointed. The belly pork was not crispy as one would normally expect and the roast chicken which has clearly been deep fried was so over cooked it was inedible. The cauliflower cheese was cauliflower with no cheese sauce which was just plain wrong. On the plus side it’s in a great location and the staff acknowledged our dissatisfaction and didn’t charge for the inedible chicken meal.

Unexpectedly found this cosy little gem place which serves great fish and chips. Service was great as well, really wholesome experience.

We chose this pub based on the convenience to our hotel for a Sunday night fish and chips dinner. Unfortunately, the dinner did not live up to our expectations or the Three Tuns reputation. We went back Monday, spoke to the manager Anna, who thanked us for giving them a second chance and assured us that they would do better. She was right. Monday night was thoroughly enjoyable: good pub food, served hot, attentive wait staff. The high TripAdvisor rating was proven to be justified. Every business has occasional bad days, and mistakes are made by staff. The really good businesses recognize a mistake, admit it, and take actions to fix it. I have no hesitation in recommending the Three Tuns for anyone looking for an authentic English pub dining experience.

What a cool little club. Shame they’re doing work on the outside right now, but it is an old style pub with some great beers and good football games.

I went this pub on Sunday 11th and my wife has allergies and was treated very badly indeed because she has allergies. She wrote a factual comment to green king and had a reply that was condescending and upsetting. The person that served us was unable to help us at all and could not even operate his allergy menu iPad. There was no attempt to leave off sauces or offer anything like a plain salad. It is fundamental for catering establishments to keep foods free of cross contamination and you were not able to confirm that you do. It ruined our evening.

Went to your pub for an evening Sunday meal with visitors from the USA who wished to experience a typical British pub. Drinks atmosphere etc was great. My visitors had a great meal but my experience was appalling. I have gluten, wheat, dairy and shellfish severe allergies and you could not provide me with anything to eat but roast carrots and asparagus spears. I provided my own bread roll as you had no gluten dairy free rolls. It was embarrassing for my guests to see me without a proper meal. One of your staff was unable to understand my needs and walked away. Another staff member apologised on behalf of green king that they could not provide for me. Just so embarrassing.

Lovely pub. Wonderful atmosphere and very good food. Service was friendly and fast.

Duck hash, onion rings, ale pie Supposed to come 45min later but arrived 15min later only. Great atmosphere, not loud Awesome !!

Good place to try fish & chips, a huge and quite delicious dish. Great service, very friendly and respectful waiters.

Fine for drinks, but very disappointing food. Steak and ale pie is reheated frozen Tesco crap with maybe a tablespoon of meat. Fish & chips - fish was overcooked, tartar sauce was saturated with lemon, and the chips and peas were meh.

We ate fish & chips, the pub was full to the brim on Saturday, a table became available outside and luckily it was warm. ☀️ The portion was big, the fish was crispy and good, maybe there should have been more salt. (Of course, it can always be added) There were enough French people. The service was friendly and attentive. 🙏 The atmosphere was also found inside. Nice, a bit quieter place considering the street.

How could a pub this close to the chaos of Primark and turists be this chill?

Visiting for a month with work. Ate twice here and the service from the lady at the bar was brilliant!!She’s very friendly and bubbly. We’re a party of five working away from home. our first visit the food was awful. Fish and chips were frazzled and burnt ,Starters arrived after we had all finished. Tonight we thought we’d give it another go and the food was just as bad. Cold burger, chips frazzled and the kievs were so over cooked you could hardly cut them. So very disappointing as the lady at the bar is so so nice. Kitchen team certainly need a refresher in standards as the quality of food isn’t to a good standard at all .

Omg how nice are the staff at the Three Tuns? Good, solid pub, good value food with some very interesting dishes. Decent music too, and not too loud. But the people are SO helpful & pleasant.

Cosy historic pub with a great vibe showing sports and serving food (bar snacks and full meals.. Approximately £7 a pint.

It was a place we really liked near The Cumberland Hotel where we stayed. Friendly faces, cheerful atmosphere, delicious cocktails. A place I would like to visit again and again.

The Three Tuns in Marble Arch is our go-to local after work. Always busy with a great atmosphere, excellent service, and quality drinks. The food is top-notch—highly recommend the chicken and mushroom pie with fat chips. A solid spot for a good meal and a great time

Great traditional pub in the centre of town down a back alley

I was disappointed with the steak & ale pie here. While it looked great on the outside, the filling was severely lacking—mostly mashed potatoes and gravy, with almost no meat. Definitely not what I expected from a proper steak & ale pie.

A proper British bar with great vibes and a well-curated beer selection. The fish and chips hit all the right notes—crispy, fresh, and satisfying. A solid spot to unwind and soak in the London atmosphere. Definitely one to revisit next time I’m in town.

Why doesn’t 3 Tuns pop up for “best fish and chips” on Google? Are the locals guarding their secret place? Well, it should get more credit. Ridiculously good…proper ambiance…nice folks working here. Oh and they can pour a proper pint and have Timmy Taylors on draft.

Classic English pub that I can easily recommend. Excellent choice of beers in an environment that is very reminiscent of a pub experience. The quality of the food is good and we ate our hamburger sandwich and savored the flavors. The onion rings could perhaps be improved. There are also various screens to follow sporting events. A lot of the clientele is local, which is a positive indication of the place.

A busy little boozer, tucked away behind Oxford Street. Normal Greene King beers available but can recommend the Hazy Day IPA which is rather fruity. Handy to know this exists when wandering around this part of London.

A wonderful place to come after an overwhelming experience at selfidges.

It is an entertaining place but the meat was very fatty, I didn't like it as I expected. The bathroom is also dirty.

It was amazing. Lovely beers, nice bartenders, best MAC & CHEESE I have ever had. Will come again hopefully in my next visit to London, on 28th Feb.

Myself and friends went for a Sunday roast here. Never been and most of the plate was flavoursome. However, the carrots were hard and we had 3 tiny roast potatoes each. I went to order more and we got the same again and we all laughed! A heads up, you will need 2 roast dinners to be full!

Popped in for a couple drafts and fish & chips. You order (everything) from your friendly neighborhood barkeep (I requested the Timothy Taylor’s and sauntered off to find a comfortable table to await the fish & chips. A long draw from my pint & a couple minutes led to my dinner delivery (not sure how they knew where I was? Magic?). I received a healthy portion of crispyly crusted and PERFECTLY cooked fried cod with peas & nicely flavored crisps (I do wish they were hot on delivery). I had a crisp delicious Guinness for dessert. All in all…I have no hesitation in recommending this excellent & comforting pub. Visit Three Tuns. You’ll feel the same. I promise!

This place is a warm pub to visit. Good drinks and food. I'll definitely be going back again. The prices are reasonable as well.

We ordered fish and chips and it wasn't the best I've ever had, it was crispy but tasteless and I think it was fried too much! For the price I don't think it's worth it.

Very good food and super pleasant service. Located a bit hidden away from the main street. Worth a visit.

First lunch in the city in this pub with very British furnishings (with a Premier League match on TV as per tradition) not far from Hyde Park. Typical pub cuisine with few but substantial dishes (Fish & Chips, Steak & Ale Pie, etc.). Fast service (you order and pay at the counter before being served) and sufficiently smiling. Prices average for London. I recommend booking.

Cosy little pub grub location located only a few minutes from Marble Arch Station and Oxford Street - a lovely stop after a day of shopping.

If you’re here for a beer, do it. Nice cosy atmosphere and friendly staff. But - and I say this reluctantly (and it’s the first time I ever felt I should leave a review) — all the food we ordered was crap. The pea soup was okay but only lukewarm. The pigs in a blanket were inedible — greasy, shrivelled, unpleasant; fish and chips had almost uncooked peas, the fries were at the low end of the scale and so was the fish — just didn’t feel fresh, and was overcooked. We left most of the £50+ of food in our plates, and now heading to some Thai restaurant to wash the taste down.

Do you want to go to a British pub, have a couple of beers and end the evening? The exact place. We chose it for the 2nd time on the last evening before returning to Turkey :) thank you

Nice pub near Oxford street. Order yourself at the bar. It was clearly indicated that it is a 40 minute wait for food. Service at the table was neat and attentive. Food was fine, especially the onion rings were tasty.

Really delicious food absolutely wonderful service, felt really welcome. Definitely a place to visit in London, if you want to find a traditional British pub then this is the place to go

Very cool! Good beer, good food. The only downside is that the kitchen no longer had everything we wanted to eat (being there a little late in the evening, 8:30 p.m.)

Went here last night with my dad, younger sister and boyfriend. I am a twenty five year old woman. One of the bartenders (a blond girl) refused to let my dad buy me a half pint of Guinness because I didn’t have a physical ID. Legally, venues are allowed to serve 17 year olds beer when accompanied by an adult/parental figure - I had a photo of my passport, I am 25, my dad was buying me a HALF pint. Anyway, even if she truly believed that I was a minor ( I don’t think she did) or genuinely feared for her job - her attitude was AWFUL, she was extremely rude, dismissive and passive aggressive. An all round awful interaction.

Ended up going here twice during our visit. The halibut fish and chips special was absolutely delicious! And the staff was warm, funny and friendly. The plus was the cozy atmosphere and local crowd. Definitely recommend if you are in the area.

We got in the pub with great expectations because it looked so fancy and cosy. Also, the reviews were good. We ordered and food came fast, in about 20 minutes. Nice atmosphere. Unfortunately the meat was totally burnt. Crispy, but 70 % burnt crisp and 30% disappearing dry meat. Very hard. Unhealthy. I felt that if I was going to eat that burnt crisp I would have a terrible stomach ache. About 32£ for burnt crisp. Disappointing.

Lamentablemente la carne estaba totalmente quemada. Crujiente, pero un 70 % quemada crujiente y un 30 % desapareciendo la carne seca. Muy duro. Insalubre. Sentí que si iba a comer esa patata frita quemada tendría un terrible dolor de estómago. Unas 32 libras por quemado crujiente. Decepcionante.
