The cheese soufflé was the best I’ve ever had. The Scottish lamb was amazing too. Great service from the head waiter and sommelier: thanks for the beautiful wine suggestions! We had a great night and are planning going back soon again."

The beef wellington & the lemon meringue pie are a must! Service was excellent & friendly. Over & above what would be required of a waiter/waitress. From the greeting we received at the hotel entrance; To the bar, (where we stopped for drink prior to booking - being a superb Bloody Mary); To within the Theo Randall restaurant itself, all staff we had an interaction with, in our humble opinion, were superb and a credit to the brand.

My wife and I have been to several Festa in Famiglia events in the past and have always enjoyed them very much. This was our first experience of a Regional Menu (ours was Lazio) and it was outstanding. The food was excellent and the paired wines well-chosen. The service was friendly and helpful and the overall ambience (it was a Tuesday lunchtime) was relaxed and enjoyable. We will definitely be recommending this to our friends and family - and there is no doubt that we will be returning ourselves!

We came here for my wife’s birthday dinner, and party because I wanted to try the chefs food for quite a while, as I’d been many yrs ago when he and Jamie Oliver were cooking in river cafe, so my expectations were quite high, I did think ‘Theo’s restaurant’ had a star… I later understood why not…. My wife is Italian 🇮🇹 so knows her stuff & im an x chef, to be honest the food was a bit of an anti-climax, Michelin prices for Osteria style food. The service was very attentive and good, and the decor definitely needed a refurbishment, and music/band playing 1970’s music was a bit dated & loud. We had pre-drinks in the bar area and could here music quite loud at times when we were speaking/reading menu, There was a couple on this particular night one singing one on an instrument/guitar (a bit 1970s we thought ). which was my first clue of expectations dwindling, we were showed to table and could choose which one we wanted, ( the restaurant only had 2 other tables at that time, 6 the whole evening ( so about 20 coustomers possibly that Thursday night 🤷♂️ ) then we noticed the furniture in the booth that we were sitting in had some marks on it and could possibly could have been reupholstered, another clue to evening ahead…. Anyway, we ordered the food, The wife went for the cheese soufflé, which was quite heavy & not to her liking (left 1/2 ) I had tuna tartare which was nothing mind blowing and dated garnish. Pasta course I went for the seafood pasta. The pasta was definitely not al dente or to my wife’s liking. My wife had the cappelletti (we thought it was going to be like hermother’s soup, it wasn’t ), wife disappointed…. My main of Guinea fowl ( which staff recommended )looked like mother in law had cooked at home nothing mind blowing or special and a little dry….. However, the dessert was a nice touch with a happy birthday message…. Then obviously the battle came to our surprise approximately £100 per head considering my wife doesn’t drink alcohol that was quite high….. Overall, slightly disappointed… and won’t b returning…. My wife’s Italian clothes company I don’t think would either sadly….

My family and I had a wonderful experience at Theo at The Randall, Sunday Brunch. It was our first time in The Intercontinental Park Lane. The hotel was beautiful and the staff were professional, welcoming, and friendly. The ambiance was warm, welcoming, and sophisticated. The buffet was exquisite and enticing, from the beautiful salads, seafood, dips, condiments, charcuterie, delicious choices of roasts, including fish, the selection of breads, many cheeses, fruit, cakes and desserts, waffle and omlette station and the trolley with the delectable and unique Pimms jelly. The service from all of the staff was exemplary. They were attentive and made us feel valued and special.

We opted for the monthly regional tasting menu which for August was Campania. It was a 4 course menu with 3 courses accompanied by a matched glass of wine. Each course was well prepared and delicious particularly the 3rd course which was beef and just melted in the mouth. We find the regional tasting menu very good value and the wine chosen is always so complimentary. The staff are good as well and when we asked if they could write down the wines for us they provided a copy of the menu which was personally signed by Theo Randall - a really nice touch. We'll certainly be back for another month's menu.

On a further visit, the August 2024 Regional Tasting Menu (Campania) was well balanced, with all the dishes being of high quality and the pasta (fresh tagliatelle with vongole, mussels, prawns, squid, white wine, garlic and parsley) outstanding. The matching wines were, as ever, well chosen and the service was, as ever, smooth and personal. Excellent. Five stars only because more are not available. Quality ingredients, first class cooking and presentation, generous portions, service which was both professional and personal, and well-chosen ‘sommelier’s choice’ wines to accompany the Signature menu. This was very good value indeed, making us wonder how some others justify their prices, seemingly from another world.

This is my second time at Theo Randall - though it's more than 10 years since I first ate here. I went in tonight without a reservation to have the set menu. This must be the best value dining in London. We're talking delicious ingredients, excellent cooking and really charming service for a very fair price. My waiter Peter was great - engaging, charming and attentive. The guinea fowl dish is just a delight, as the sharp lemon tart. Yesterday went to Theo randall to celebrate my bday with a friend. Since we walked in, the atmosphere absolutely positively surprised us. A great shady atmosphere alongside a very polite customer service. Peter, the waiter, was incredible friendly and joyful since the early beginner. We decided to chose the “Sardinia tasting menu” and wow! The pre-course, a sweet fresh rich tomatoes toast, ordered from Italy, was stunning! The focaccia also very tasty. The remaining plates absolutely stunning too! Also, me and my friend didn’t fancy lamb, so Peter and the Chef were the most kind and exchanged the original plate to another one, so we couldn’t miss the full tasty experience. The bartender came to serve us wine, 3 times. And let me say, amazing wines! Overall 10 ⭐️ Price quality absolutely stunning! Can’t recommend this place enough. And of course I will come back.

This was the best meal I had in London on a week-long stay. I knew nothing about it in advance and was not staying at the Hilton, so stumbled upon it online. What a fortunate find! The food was outstanding. The lightly braised squid appetizer (over beans and arugula) was excellent. The liver main, served with spinach, mushrooms, and flash fried sage, was probably the best liver preparation I have ever had. Unbelievably mild and subtle. The lemon tart for dessert was also excellent. The prices are reasonable (for high end dining) and the wines are very good. My server was funny and very helpful (I'm terrible with names, but the receipt listed him as Peter G.--I hope that is right). All in all, a great experience.

Having stayed and eaten at a number of Intercontinental hotels and always been impressed, I decided to book Sunday brunch at Park Lane for Father’s Day. It sounded good and varied when booking but when we arrived, the restaurant was somewhat underwhelming (poor decor, dimly lit and not at all fitting of a 5* hotel) as was the salad and cold buffet. At £70 a head I would have expected far more variety and a higher quality of produce. The bread rolls were cold and relatively tough (and not with the salad buffet at all but with the sweet buffet!) Our waiter was very pleasant but clearly new to the role and not particularly responsive. The beef wellington was delicious and the star of the show and for a buffet the vegetables and roast potatoes were well cooked but the chicken looked unappealing and I would have expected whole chickens roasted and served rather than rather pale and unappealing thighs on a heated trolley for a five star hotel. The sweet section was okay but all very cake based and the cheese was again somewhat standard and without crackers, chutney/qunice or fruit. At an additional £8 a coffee, I felt ripped off for what was standard filter coffee at best and £8 for a small Diet Coke also felt steep. At almost £300 for two adults and two children it massively failed to reach expectations and I am unlikely to return to the hotel for any of its dining options in the future as a result. A real disappointment sadly and a waste of money. There are many, many far better options in London for a fraction of the cost….

Had a great experience at the restaurant for brunch menu. The food variety was amazing. The bakery selection was good but great quality. They had a cold salad bar with cold meats which was also great. Especially enjoyed the cold salmon. Ordered egg benedict what came with ham. My preference is salmon which was a shame. The roast was also amazing had chicken which was finely cut strips, salmon (felt this was slightly over cooked so it was dry), roast potatoes and veg. The desert selection was really good with fruits, choc cakes, cookies, muffins also Nutella choc sauce, fresh cream and other sauces. Most importantly the staff was amazing 👏

It was with enthusiasm that I walked through the door of this restaurant, nestled in the heart of Intercontinental Park Lane. He presents himself as the “best Italian” 🇮🇹 in London and I just wanted to be convinced. Disappointment: the “medium” steak is served overcooked, I found the fried artichokes bland and without much flavor, all for the modest sum of €50. My daughters were also not convinced by their duck ravioli: good, but nothing more. Please note: I'm not saying that the cooking is bad! Just that it didn’t live up to what it promised 😕

Lovely Saturday brunch. The starters are all buffet style so you can go up as many times as you like. So many different types of gorgeous salads, meats etc. Only thing I noticed that is now very different from when I came before is that there is no bread station. There was however a plate of lovely focaccia pieces. You then have a choice of 4 mains to choose from which you order at your table. Finally dessert is brought t your table. To be honest, I’m not keen on how it’s served as the plate comes with 4 different desserts with quenelles of different creams. Obviously you want to try them all so you have to share with the person you are with which involves a lot of double dipping! If you are not in a couple or maybe with someone you’re not so familiar with, it’s not ideal. Either make them smaller and give 2 of each or cut them in a way that both can enjoy. I also checked and when we went in February 2019, the picture I took had the exact same desserts. Maybe after 5yrs, change the desserts? The hotel itself is wonderful. Theo’s restaurant is lovely and the service is absolutely faultless with a lovely welcome. Every waiter there today was so friendly and professional but it still has a lovely relaxing atmosphere.

Went for brunch on Saturday, two couples catching up. Slight changes to the menu offer where you can now have white and red wine or prosecco as one choice or Negroni, Aperol Spritz or Mimosa. The red Sicilian wine was lovely. The self service buffet was as before and still presents a great choice of Italy. No mushroom risotto but a fourth main course has been added. Porchetta skin crisp and meat melts in the mouth. The pasta main was served without Parmesan which was a slight disappointment as it was on the same dish served to other tables. The single plate of desserts was lovely but four people get the same as two which seems a little mean. I will be back again but will hope that those little things are rectified. Theo’s cooking is still some of the best outside of Italy.

A Rodent in the restaurant... Saw a rodent running around whilst waiting for our food and had to lift our legs up as it ran directly under our table. Quietly, discretely and politely raised it with waiting staff. The first person laughed it off “The mouse is crazy! Ha-ha”. Another member of staff apologised and explained it got in through an open door (fact of life, but still - it is a high end restaurant), but no offer of a drink on the house or similar – which would have underlined the apology. Another table saw the rodent too, but fortunately for the restaurant, those of us who saw it didn’t make a scene nor just walk out - especially as we noticed other celebrity chefs seated nearby. Emailed Mr Randall via the restaurant the following day but haven’t heard back for 2 weeks, which is poor customer service - I wanted to give them a chance to respond before writing a bad review online. Difficult to recommend to friends on this basis, which is a shame because the food was very nice even though we struggled to enjoy the experience. Perhaps we should have just left. Update: The restaurant have not responded to my email after a month or to this review. Perhaps they are aware of a problem with rodents in the restaurant and are choosing to ignore than acknowledge?

We had called theo randall at the IC several times to confirm the halal status of the food and were informed that all of the meat was indeed halal. On another occasion we were informed that most of the meat was halal and only a handful of items weren’t halal. We made a reservation and were looking forward to our meal. Upon arrival, we are informed that the meat was not halal but our waitress later confirmed with the chef that a select few items were indeed halal. The food that was declared halal by our waitress was great and we enjoyed our meal. My wife then proceeded to call the IC to confirm the halal status of meat at the other restaurant, Theo's at the terrace, only to be told that none of the meat served at the IC is halal and the food we had eaten was not halal. My wife was told she would receive a return call in a week (why an entire week?) once they had investigated this further to understand what had occurred. No call, no response and no resolution to this issue whatsoever in an entire week. It is clear that there is no concern whatsoever for those who request halal food in this establishment and it frustrates and sickens me that we were misled so much and that no one has had the decency to call us and explain the situation.

One of the most delightful experiences at Theo Randall at the Intercontinental, a “Negroni masterclass” greeted by Astrid, he is definitely one of the best mixologists. As an Italian food and wine lover along with fabulous cocktails, Theo Randall at the Intercontinental is an absolute must. Amazing Negroni masterclass and dining experience. Thank you.

Great food, really good staff that took care of us. We had the taster regional menu 4 course with wines included on the first three courses, good portions. Will go again.

Very elegant location with the right distances between tables. Peter served us thoughtfully, kindly and very attentive in his suggestions for the various courses and cocktails. The fontina flan, duck cappelletti and pappardelle with beef ragù are excellent. Extraordinary place.

The Korean fried chicken was disappointing. On the other hand the fish and chips were excellent. Fish was flaky and sweet snd french fries were fresh and piping hot. Attentive and professional service. Fair prices for a five star hotel.

New Year’s Eve was our 3rd visit on this occasion Overall good evening with friends . However the steak main course was over salted, possibly the pancetta wrapped around the beef, but also the vegetables very salty. We did ask for more veg but also salty. Excellent service. Felt it lacked party atmosphere this year, not even a party bag for NYE.

Superb meal. The food is fresh, seasonal and seasoned well. This is cooking at a very high level and I would recommend it to everyone. The pasta and seafood risotto was delicious but the lamb rump was cooked poorly. I think it had been undercooked, carved and then flashed under the salamander so the colour wasn’t very nice and it wasn’t carved correctly. Quite poor for £38! The price of the food was reasonable but £23 for a ‘signature negroni’ is far too much. By the time you add on 13.5% service, it becomes a very expensive meal. That being said, the quality is good, the service was friendly and it’s a nice dining room. Would return

We went for the set meal on a Saturday. The food was stunning, the buffet was fab, you can do repeat forays to there, foccacia best ever! Standout for me was the mushroom risotto, depth of flavour amazing. Only down side was the noise, lots of people chattering, I seemed to be sat at a focal point of the room as I struggled to hear what was being said at my table due to the ambient noise :-(. Overall, it was a fantastic food experience. The staff were great, helpful, and kept glasses topped up.

Just crushingly disappointing. We booked in for “a festive brunch” according to their brochure and emails before Xmas. Arrived at the restaurant. A) no decorations B) no crackers C) no Xmas music) D) food worse than Wetherspoons , sprouts boiled to nothing, veg burnt, roast potatoes raw, gravy cold, starters dried out etc etc Poor staff clearly embarrassed by the set up (not going to name them,) but many said they’d complained there was nothing chrismassy about the day and room. Got 50% off of the bill but then started to get lots of reflective blame comments from the staff in the cloakroom. I was too angry to fight any more as my family were already very upset. Entire place an utter shambles and the place reeks of management not giving an damn and just taking the money. Cold day in hell before I got back. Thanks, you’ve ruined our Xmas eve.

Visited the Warwick Castle on 01/11/24. Great traditional pub in a great location. The real ales were great and food also. Friendly staff and all in all a great afternoon

Went into this pub today and ordered half a bitter and an orange juice. Pro - at least they sell some bitter. However these two small drinks came to £8 and change. Maybe they do Oasis-style dynamic pricing of a Friday night/pay day to relieve the pressure on the groaning wallets of the city traders. Or maybe they charge these prices all week. Either way it's a rip off.
