Good spot to watch the football, does a nice pint of Guinness and the staff are friendly on top of that. What’s not to like?

Great atmosphere and staff are brilliant

Apart from when the staff failed to tell me a plate was burning hot, (I did burn my fingers moving the plate) we had a great time. Lots of TVs to watch the rugby.

Did not accept my money as it was a Scottish note. Sterling is sterling surely?

Nice pub but can get very busy. 2025: really good food. The staff are really friendly. Can be quite loud if the football is on.

Visited on 19 Dec. Sooo busy and the poor bar maid was doing everything, serving food and drinks. Took a hour from ordering to get our food. No good when you're in your lunch hour

This pub is very welcoming and friendly

Went into this pub today and ordered half a bitter and an orange juice. Pro - at least they sell some bitter. However these two small drinks came to £8 and change. Maybe they do Oasis-style dynamic pricing of a Friday night/pay day to relieve the pressure on the groaning wallets of the city traders. Or maybe they charge these prices all week. Either way it's a rip off.

I held my retirement party in the downstairs bar at The Kings Arms. An in depth consultation with the manager Christian took place to ascertain exactly what my requirements were and his expertise in this area was absolutely spot on. All of my guests were very complimentary of the venue. The staff were so helpful and cheerful, which made the evening go swimmingly. I would definitely recommend this pub. 😁

Our first stop in London and we couldn't have had a better time. Cold beer, amazing fish n chips, steak & onion pie all enjoyed on the patio. Everyone was incredibly friendly. Highly recommend!

I've been here a few times for birthday and leaving drinks. Easy to book tables on line and service is really good. Not too overly priced drinks.

Don’t be fooled, they say they’ll play NFL and you order food and drinks and find out they can’t get the game. We even verified when we arrived and waited and waited to get a good seat 2 hrs early.

We were late.. But the sunday roast requested by friends was a delight!! A must if you are in the area The service and price honest price!!

Excellent pub to immediately get into the mood as soon as you get off the train. Good sandwiches and beer. Courteous and efficient staff. To return

Vad and his team including Amelia hosted my retirement do last week in their basement function room, coping with aplomb with a lively crowd of over 100. Drinks flowed and a hot buffet was well received. All prices were reasonable for City of London. All requests were accommodated and the venue was ideal for this kind of event. No loud music or intrusive noise from public areas, allowing speeches from a small PA system to be heard easily. N.B. the venue is in the basement, one guest struggled with the stairs a little and I must confess I did not enquire about disabled access. Would definitely recommend this venue for a work celebration, and many colleagues who have used the venue would agree 💯

Bathroom didn't lock Toilet was leaking through the handle, so i got grey water on my hands Hand dryer wasn't functional Truly a disappointment.

Great service and best of all, it doesn't look like it from the outside but there is a decent outside space through the back with ample seating

The pub has an outdoor area which is quite nice. You could order food via QR code but our food took 45mins to arrive in a half full bar. We didn’t spot anyone else around us getting served food so we don’t know why it took so long. We ordered crispy squid and some hot chips which really is straightforward and should not have taken that long. I would not recommend the food nonetheless, the squid was overcooked and tasted like rubber tyres.

You don’t have to say much. This place is great and Faz is a legend.

Great pub and outdoor area. Came in at lunch time and they put Aussie Rules football on for me a few mates. Awesome atmosphere, and great selections of beers.

Steak sandwich had no steak. Expensive. Food quality awful.

Stopped for breakfast today before heading back after a few days in the city. The friendliness of both staff members was so welcoming, and the pub was clean and very tidy. It needs a bit of updating, but the staff made up for it. The breakfast was lovely.

Great bar staff, environment and food. Very welcoming and also TVs to watch sports! It’s spacious and there is a large downstairs area for private events.

Nice pub. Very spacious. Quite loud as a group were playing darts however we found a corner where we could.talk. The food was excellent and arrived in a reasonable time. We sat downstairs and the bar wasn't attended all of the time so going up and down stairs for drinks is not ideal. Good atmosphere and very friendly staff.

I booked a table for lunch with Friends - as soon as I arrived it was pointed out to me and I ordered drinks quickly. Knowledgeable staff pointed out food and drink choices . A good outside area catered to the smokers and promised a great venue for the better weather to come ( I hope )

Kings Arms is a great spot for. Few drinks, watch sport and overall great atmosphere. Andrea is great and always welcoming with a smile.

I went to have a few pints and some food. The staff was like a robot, fake smile and not in the mood to talk. It looks ok and is attractive to have dinner, but the received vibe is strange.

Steak and ale pie and brown ale lovely portion size for price in central London of course just about £20. Have seen a lot worse for these prices can't knock it

Lovely old London pub, nicely furnished and good decor. Good selection of beers, all well kept and presented. Good food at reasonable price. Definitely worth a visit, I hope to return .

This is one of the best Pubs to have a social function. For over 10 years our company have used the lower level of the pub to have our yearly festive celebration, or back to work party. The landlady Laura is the best, and her staff are always hard working hospitable and always on hand to help. From the very beginning, in the selection of menus on offer, to being able to make requests, i.e. can we have the match on, can we bring our own music, and we also got use of a pool table, there a little cost, card or coins.... When we arrive, as you went down the stairs there as a black board letting people know the pub downstairs was a private event, as you continued down the next set of stairs. At the entrance to the lower pub there was another notification letting you know there a private function. I was introduced to all the staff that would be on hand to help, its brilliant that there is a separate bar, I was also handed coloured wrist bands. So everyone that was part of the private party just showed there wrist bands to the bar staff when requesting drinks Every year the feed back from staff is always good, the food supplied is always cooked and resenting very well. I had to request more food because it went down sooo well I would highly recommend this pub socially as well for functional use. See you again next year January, keep up the good work ;o)

A very decent Greene King close to Liverpool Street station. Early doors there are mostly Trades in, to be joined at 5pm by nearby office workers. There's a bar downstairs, too, offering much needed extra space and a sizeable beer garden out back (some of it covered and heated, with two screens for the sports). Service was, on my last visit, great although I'm sure they get more frazzled as the night progresses. The toilets (downstairs) were decent.

It's not for babys. The webpage says that is family friendly but the facilities doesn't have changing mat. I had to diaper my baby on the floor.

Good sizeable pub, was very busy for post work drinks - glad we booked a table, but did mean service at the bar took a fair while. Lots of screens (downstairs) so was easy to see from any location.
