Pie and fish and chips were good. Mac & cheese one of the best homemade versions I’ve had. Traditional British style pub very good ambience.

An accidental find close to Liverpool Street station. Surprisingly charming little place. Saturday really quiet. Lovely pub and really friendly bar staff. Daniel and Kate gave excellent service. Would highly recommend this place.

I went to this pub for a catch-up with a mate recently and I can say this pub ticks all the right boxes. They serve all kinds of beers. They got good enough selection of food and appetizers. The location is hard to beat as it is right outside one of the Liverpool street station exit. My favorite thing is that they have booths for those, like me, that prefer to have a bit more private conversations away from the hustle and bustle of the main bar area. You can reserve these it seems so that is a plus. Anyways I would recommend this pub for anyone who works nearby and wants to grab a drink before they catch their ride from the station.

Came in on a Saturday evening (normally visit with office friends midweek) and was very pleasantly surprised by live music. Fab acoustic duo, lovely atmosphere and fab hot bar snacks. Hope they continue the music, a nice addition to the Liverpool Street Scene!

Great City Pub , right by Liverpool St Station and the fantastic Lizzie Line. The Landlord is BRILIANT and has assembled an exceptional team - who are so nice to all their customers ( apart from me ) , you will be served with smile and style and the lunchtime deal is not to be missed .

I love this place! The vibe is so good, such a comfortable place. Food was delicious and filling. The chicken burger was perfect! Staff here are all really nice. Lily and Mario were so quick and patient. Their new drinks menu had came out recently and they were very GOOD!!

Delicious food! Had a large fish and chips to share with a friend and sausage and mash. Bar staff were great. Mario and Daniel were on the bar, quick and lovely service from both.

The staff are exceptionally polite and the atmosphere of the place is good for a pub with a good selection of drinks, definitely recommended for a social gathering. Jessica, the bartender took care of our drinks with care and we were very impressed by her.

100% recommend. Went during lunch hour and tried their sandwich deal. The Club sandwich was the best! Really filling and delicious. Bar staff were fantastic, especially Mario! Lovely pub.

Staff were friendly, good range of beers, I had a Paulaner lager, thinking I was ordering the wheat beer. This was a lager version, so I was disappointed that I made the mistake, but glad to have tried it anyway. However, I tasted a light toffee style flavour, which is sometimes a residual effect after the pipes have been, or need to be cleaned. It was fine for me, but some people may find it disgusagreeable. Has a lovely old world feel, small upstairs area as well. Need to go back to try some of the ales.

What to say, a pub near Liverpool Street station. The staff are friendly, the bar snacks are good, the beer is fresh, you are paying for your location

This really is the perfect spot to take refuge if you have to spend some time before your train leaves but also just in general. The staff is very nice as well as the atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
