Il posto non è grande ma carino. Il cibo non ha un bell aspetto. Personale gentile. La pulizia dovrebbe essere migliorata

I would not recommend this place to other tourists. I booked the Sunday brunch with live music, which was supposed to be the highlight of the day — we planned our whole day around it. However, the music turned out to be plain and average, lacking any passion from the band. Our table was booked for 1:45 PM, and the music was advertised to run until 3:00 PM. But during that time, the band also took a break. The advertisement stated live music from 12:30 PM to 3:00 PM, so we assumed there would be multiple musicians or at least a more engaging performance — not just one tired band. Had we known the actual format, we would not have booked our table for the later part of the brunch. The advertisement failed to specify either the band or the structure of the performance. Another disappointment was the bill. We had already paid £89 for a table for two, which was supposed to include both the food and the music. I ordered steak, which was listed among the main dishes on the menu, so I assumed it was included in the prepayment. However, there was a small note indicating a £15 surcharge — something I wasn't made aware of. I had explicitly told the waiter at the beginning that I didn’t want to order anything beyond what was included, but when I ordered the steak, he failed to inform me about the extra charge. Additionally, the service was poor. For example, the beer I ordered was first placed on an empty table next to us and only brought over around 10 minutes later. Despite the subpar service, the waiter added an £18 service charge to the bill. This extra charge was also not mentioned in the advertisement. In my opinion, when you prepay for a brunch with music, tipping should be left to the customer’s discretion — not added automatically.

I had an amazing evening here and loved each course. I particularly enjoyed the cured duck and daikon snack and the rib of lamb. I was treated here for my birthday and I really appreciated the effort the staff made. No only did I get a birthday card, it was signed by all the staff. Before I left, I was given a small pot of honey as my birthday gift! Thank you Portland :)

In spite of the upscale atmosphere and auspicious reputation, Corrigan's Mayfair menu was a disappointment. The food seemed uncreative, with none of the seasonality and flair that you'd hope for from a restaurant of this standard. Dishes read well but fell flat in practice — the flavors were subdued, and the combinations frequently didn't seem to work together. For a restaurant that serves modern British food, the menu relied too much on safe, familiar options with little creativity. It was a lackluster meal that failed to meet the expectation or the hype for the restaurant.

The steak was mid rare to perfection and the chips were crispy on the outside and tender inside. Absolute perfection! Rachel was helpful at all times but if you want to leave a tip for the excellent table service, carry cash with you. Thank you :-)

PEOPLE WITH ALLERGIES DO NOT GO HERE. This place poisoned my boyfriend on his 25th birthday. I booked this place as he’s always wanted to go here, on booking the place I notified them of his peanut allergy twice, and on entering the restaurant I reminded them AGAIN, and when we sat down and then again when he ordered. The waiter advised which food to order and we set about the meal. A minute into eating his mouth started to tingle, a few minutes later he had to leave to throw up. We had to immediately leave in order to make sure he’s safe and to take him to the hospital if needed. They denied any wrongdoing and any peanuts and offered no refund. They ruined my partners birthday and literally POISONED HIM. We had to cancel our reservations for drinks and activities after. Regardless of this the food just tasted really salty, and there were only two other couples in the restaurant. The ambience was off because it was so empty, I do NOT recommend.
