Great menu and great service. The place is big, there are enough tables so that you can go without a reservation. The fish and chips is amazing.

Fantastico "Pub Inglese" dove abbiamo avuto due possibilità di esperienza: 1° Piano terra, si respira l'aria della festa del fine settimana in arrivo, gruppi di avventori che si guastano una OTTIMA Birra in allegria e baccano. 2° Primo piano, cena in tranquillità con gustosissime pietanze, consiglio i pasticci di carne. We visited as a group of around 20 and were very well looked after by Raul and his team. Food and atmosphere were both excellent, as was the service by the entire team on duty. We all had a great evening!

A very cozy and decent pub considering the extremely competitive environment of SoHo. We managed to get a table although we appeared without a reservation on a busy night during Christmas holidays. Very helpful staff did their best to find us a table. Service was quick and accurate. Food was good and the selection of beers satisfactory. We had fish & chips, meat pie and burger. All very tasteful and very well presented.

Raju was phenomenal, he literally took care about us and all our staff. We wouldn’t have a great day out without Raju, thank you! The Sunday roast was delicious, we ordered the beef and was perfectly cooked, juicy and tender.

Great cosy traditional English pub. The cocktails were good, the atmosphere was fantastic with life music and lots of fun. We were lucky to find a table at the most busiest xmas shopping time. The pub was busy but not overcrowded, but the service was a bit slow.

£20 for this is a bit of a joke. Some peas or greens would hardly have gone amiss!

Server accidentally smashed a gravy bowl on my plate when serving food. Would not have been an issue. However, they took the plate away then re-served the same plate 20 minutes later (cold) with small pieces of razor sharp stone within the food. They had simply removed the larger pieces broken pottery. I ended up cancelling the order after spending £144 to watch the rest of my family eat for our Christmas meal. This review is a direct response to the appalling template apology email I received when I followed up the complaint. Which simply read "I am sorry to hear about your poor experience with us. Thank you for taking your time to write us a very detail feedback. Once again we would like to express our sincere apologies.".

Our family had a lovely meal after shopping on Carnaby Street. Raju, our server, was delightful. Attentive, friendly and welcoming. The tables upstairs were decorated beautifully for Christmas. The food and drinks were good quality at a fair price. Overall, extremely happy with our visit.

I really want to give this pub a better rating but they've let me down twice now and left me and my friends in an awkward situation. Let's start with the good, it's a great location, it's a lovely traditional pub and it's got a lively friendly atmosphere. Generally it seems to be well staffed, so there's rarely too long a wait at the bar even when it's heaving. The bad, and sadly this has spoiled more than one trip there. Twice in a row I've booked (because it does get busy) both times confirmed. Then on one occassion they cancelled the booking a few hours before we were all due to meet, saying a fault with their system. This of course in central London then meant we were left unable to book somewhere else. The second occasion, I booked a table for 7 people in the dining room so we could have a catch up and eat. Turn up and are told the dining room is closed for a private function and the table should never have been confirmed. Whilst they did their best to attempt to accommodate us, the best they could offer was a 4 seater table surrounded by all standing guests. The manager to his credit bought us a complimentary round of drinks, but it did mean in Christmas week we were left with nowhere to dine.

Too small and crowded, staff needs to learn more about customer service as I was treated like I should not be there upstairs after I bought my pint downstairs, terrible seating arrangements, would not go back there and was my £8+ again

Found this pub after being ignored at the Kingly St Blue Posts. Just in time for the Titanic Plum Porter to be on the pumps. Staff were friendly and helpful. Sprawling layout with nooks and crannies, with some cosy corners.

It’s not easy to find an easy, nice pub that is welcoming in the west end of London. I was looking for a place to meet 12 people for a reunion in Soho and The White Horse was perfect. It has tons of atmosphere, friendly staff and a nice vibe.

Excellent traditional pub. Really enjoyed the live jazz band. Great beer as well.

My fiance and I had dinner there 2 days ago and we both ended up getting food poisoning afterwards. We got the fish and chips and the pie. This was the worst food poisoning I ever had and could not move for 2 days, I wish we’d never gone there, it ruined our last night in London and made the trip back unbearable the next day. The waiter was very nice though.

What a disaster! I was sitting outside with my friends and ordered large pepsi max online (£4.40 + service charge). After 30 minutes no-one came with my order so I went inside and told the bartender and she gave me half pint of coke from the gun with lots of ice so I basically paid £4.40 plus service charge for 50ml of coke and ice. 1. It should have been a pint but the bartender said that's how it comes 2. It should have been for free given how long I waited. Well done guys! Great service 👏

Very high prices for measley portions. 3 small venison croquets (hardly detected any meat just potato) with a tiny smattering of leaves, the menu said salad, more like a garnish mixed fish plate. 2 cod portions were fine but 5 scampi? Chips were only a handful. Limited menu. Not many options to choose from. Many dishes were unavailable/sold out. Would've given a lower score but the fabulous Fallen Heroes Band saved the day

Típico pub inglés con buen ambiente. La nota podría ser más alta pero va en referencia lo mala que es la comida británica. La verdad es que su mala fama está bien merecida. Comida muy del montón a pesar de la buena presentación, pero insisto en que es simplemente porque su gastronomía es así, no pueden pedirse peras al olmo. Local muy chulo y precio y trato correctos..

Dating back to the early 1700’S it was remodeling in the art deco style in 1930. Great pub with great service, good selection of food and beers, and great food. Owen had Fish & Chips with Guiness and Kathy had Bangers & Mash with London Pride.

This is a wonderful place in Soho (Carnaby) to get a drink or a bite to eat. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, you will hear live music. My favourite is the live New Orleans Jazz on Sunday from 5pm with The Fallen Heroes band. I highly recommend the fish pie and the fries, which are excellent. Dogs are welcome, and even offered treats. My dog will personally show any dog nearby where they are! There are always people of all ages and backgrounds, which I really like. The staff are absolutely lovely: Barbara, Summer, Oliver...I recommend following @whitehorsepubsoho on instagram which is really well done too. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud if you are inside wanting to have a proper chat, in which case you can move to a room upstairs or slightly downstairs just behind the bar. I would recommend letting them know if it is too loud. Raul, the Manager, too has been wonderful. Highly recommend!

Quite splendid in a less busier area. Had appetizer and drinks with the family in the upstairs dining area as downstairs was busy. We were served by Raju who was extremely courteous, energetic, helpful and quick. As first time visitors to the UK the Landlord's platter was very tasty and unique. Was there on a Saturday evening in August. Recommended.

Me and my ten-year-old daughter got a table on the second floor and found that the food at the White Horse was delicious, and we never waited a long time for our food to come. All of the waiters and waitresses where great, however I must specifically mention Raju, who was especially friendly, always arrived with our food and drinks quick and even offered to take a picture of me and my daughter together! Overall, I would highly recommend the White Horse for anyone looking for a tasty meal delivered with quick, convenient service, and I would like to give a little shout-out to Raju for his great service!
