The food was perfect and the waiter made us feel welcome from start to finish, always approached us with a big smile and good manors, his name was Raju hope he can get a special mention as he really made the night special

Perfect Pub experience. Award winning Meat Pie was delicious. Service was friendly and fast. Great beer selection draft and cask. We were shopping in SoHo and came across this historic Pub.

Dating back to the early 1700’S it was remodeling in the art deco style in 1930. Great pub with great service, good selection of food and beers, and great food. Owen had Fish & Chips with Guiness and Kathy had Bangers & Mash with London Pride.

Típico pub inglés con buen ambiente. La nota podría ser más alta pero va en referencia lo mala que es la comida británica. La verdad es que su mala fama está bien merecida. Comida muy del montón a pesar de la buena presentación, pero insisto en que es simplemente porque su gastronomía es así, no pueden pedirse peras al olmo. Local muy chulo y precio y trato correctos..

Nice Bar to eat and drink. Music wasnt to loud. Service was nice but new, could have informed that there was some mashed potatoes with the pie, then I wouldn't ordered a salad. Pie was sooo good, got recommended from an other staff. Order and pay at the bar.

We recently dined at The White Horse Pub during our stay in London. The ambiance captures the classic charm of an English pub perfectly. We ordered the sea bass, which was absolutely mouthwatering. The service was warm and inviting, making for a delightful experience. Thank you!

This is a wonderful place in Soho (Carnaby) to get a drink or a bite to eat. If you go on a Friday or Saturday night, you will hear live music. My favourite is the live New Orleans Jazz on Sunday from 5pm with The Fallen Heroes band. I highly recommend the fish pie and the fries, which are excellent. Dogs are welcome, and even offered treats. My dog will personally show any dog nearby where they are! There are always people of all ages and backgrounds, which I really like. The staff are absolutely lovely: Barbara, Summer, Oliver...I recommend following @whitehorsepubsoho on instagram which is really well done too. Sometimes the music is a bit too loud if you are inside wanting to have a proper chat, in which case you can move to a room upstairs or slightly downstairs just behind the bar. I would recommend letting them know if it is too loud. Raul, the Manager, too has been wonderful. Highly recommend!

Quite splendid in a less busier area. Had appetizer and drinks with the family in the upstairs dining area as downstairs was busy. We were served by Raju who was extremely courteous, energetic, helpful and quick. As first time visitors to the UK the Landlord's platter was very tasty and unique. Was there on a Saturday evening in August. Recommended.

Me and my ten-year-old daughter got a table on the second floor and found that the food at the White Horse was delicious, and we never waited a long time for our food to come. All of the waiters and waitresses where great, however I must specifically mention Raju, who was especially friendly, always arrived with our food and drinks quick and even offered to take a picture of me and my daughter together! Overall, I would highly recommend the White Horse for anyone looking for a tasty meal delivered with quick, convenient service, and I would like to give a little shout-out to Raju for his great service!

Unbelievable pub words can’t describe. Sensational speed of service and the bartenders knowledge goes well beyond anything I’ve seen in London. Emphasis especially on Oliver who really made my night can’t believe how funny he was in the short bursts I was at the bar, truly what every barman should aspire to be. My niece and I visited this pub for dinner. It was a very enjoyable visit. We loved the food, the quick and friendly service, the cosy atmosphere and the vibe - very lively and relaxing at the same time. We were lucky to listen to live music and it was great.

We booked the private room upstairs - The Tank Room- at the White Horse. It’s a great pub and a perfect sized room for around 40 people. The service the bar and the bar food were excellent - staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely re-book. Thanks Raoul and team.

It was not the first time I went and as always impeccable, without a doubt a place to return to when I return to London. We were caught up in the Euro Cup final and on top of that it was Spain-England, it was an exciting experience. We will return without a doubt 😍

On vacation in London and visiting Soho we stopped there for a snack break. Order online then fast service. The desserts were very good and we had a good time there.

Quite sad when it has to come to eating. I had to wait for over 1 hour because they made a "mistake" on my order. I ordered on the app, and I already paid on it. So I could not afford to leave without eating...

Do not pay via internet : you will wait. 1 hour for my side. And they were lucky that I've already paid. Else would be me leaving. Great meal.

Nice location and nice pub but AVOID unless you have deep pockets. £7.60 for a pint of Peroni and £6.50 for a bottle of Peroni is just ridiculous when there are some great pubs around charging normal London prices. One for the tourists

We had a great time watching the England v Switzerland game. We booked a table and we had a great veiw of the TV. The service was great and easy to get served at the bar. I would recommend for any football game as nice friendly atmosphere.

Je connaissais déjà ce pub puisque mon frère et ma sœur y avait travaillé. J’y suis retourné déjeuner avec mon mari et on a été encore une fois très satisfait. Personnel très disponible et gentille, Raju s’est occupé de nous et il a été très patient puisque notre anglais était pas toujours parfait. Un fish et chips superbe dans un des meilleurs pub de la belle Carnaby street.

12 British Pounds: The Price of My Soul (and 7 Soggy Tortilla Chips) I entered Ye Olde Tripadvisor Bait, wallet thicc with a crisp tenner and two crumpled singles. Dreams of cheesy, crunchy nirvana danced in my head. What I received was a culinary hate crime against Mexico. Seven (7!) sad, pallid triangles huddled beneath a cold, congealed cheese puddle. A few anemic jalapenos gasped for air amidst this beige hellscape. Guacamole? More like guaca-NO-le. Salsa? Might as well have been ketchup's depressed cousin. Each bite was a symphony of disappointment. The chips, once proud and sturdy, now surrendered to sogginess. The "cheese" clung to my palate like a desperate ex. This wasn't just a plate of nachos, it was an existential crisis served on a chipped wooden platter. As I stared into the abyss of this culinary disaster, a single tear rolled down my cheek, mingling with the lukewarm salsa. My life flashed before my eyes: childhood dreams shattered, relationships crumbled, all culminating in this tragic plate of nachos. 12 pounds. It wasn't just the price of a meal, it was the cost of my shattered hopes and dreams. It was the moment I realized life is but a series of disappointments, punctuated by the occasional edible nacho. Ye Olde Tripadvisor Bait, you didn't just ruin my meal, you ruined my life. And for that, I will forever curse your name (and your soggy tortilla chips).

I was there on Sunday 30th of June., with 6 people we went up stairs and was served by Raju, I just want to say this young man is excellent, I kept on telling my friends how good he is and helpful, I really believe he loves his job and honestly wants to help the customers, please help this young man, hes special.

Myself and my girlfriend stumbled across this pub when walking around. I noticed they have lamb pie which is scarce in Scotland so we went in. It was absolutely fantastic. The service from Raju was nothing short of 10/10. Service with a smile and genuinely interested in giving you the best service. The decor was very vintage London upstairs in the dining area. We will definitely be back. Had a great experience.

Thanks Raju for a fantastic evening. The White Horse was full for England v Slovakia in the Round of 16 and Raju came and found us to show us to our table. Meals were great and service was exceptional.

We ate in this typical London Pub. Everything is great!!! We ate 3 giant burgers and 2 pints and a soft drink.

We ordered some nachos that didn't have anything special and some sausages. There was an application to order and pay from the table itself that did not work for us when paying and we had to go to the bar to order. It took them a long time to bring the food. The right environment.

This was a great pub, especially for the large space outside and the screens inside for things such as football etc

Great pub! The food is fantastic. I had the steak pie and mash, absolutely everything was delicious (the mash, the meat, the sauce, the crust, even the little carrots on top!).

The atmosphere was very cozy and we had a great meal upstairs. Fantastic, warm and welcoming service from Raju who really made our night.

We sat in the sun outside in the mew, and used the app to get table service. It was perfect. The beers were reasonably priced for a central London local and tourist hangout.

This is a rather nice Nicholson's pub just of Carnaby Street. They have seven cask beers although I opted for a not cheap Peroni at £7.60. They also have unpasteurised beer from a copper tank (a Pilsner at 4.4% abv). The decor is wood panelling with three separate seating areas on the ground floor, an upstairs bar and limited external seating. Service was good. I was here at 4.30pm on a Monday and it was not too busy. They also serve food with pies being their speciality. If you are in the Carnaby Street area I highly recommend this pub.

First things first, they pour a great Guinness here. Right amount of stick, perfect temperature. Their lager isn’t half bad either. Can get quite busy and thus a couple minute wait at the bar sometimes. can’t attest to the food as I haven’t tried it (yet). Good ambiance, love the seats outside. Slowly becoming a regular so they’re doing something right 👍🏻

My daughter ordered me a drink 10 minutes before I arrived, I went and found it on the bar 45 minutes after I arrived. One staff running around like a headless chicken trying to serve everyone outside. Food was so bulked with salad to cover the lack of anything else. Lots of waiting around. Disappointed 😞

We booked as a group to go for food after a team building day so arrived hungry and ready for it, to discover there had been a mixup and as such they hadn't held a table for us hence the mark down. The staff overall were helpful, but being huddled around a couple of high bar tables wasn't the plan so we ended up having a few drinks and heading our separate ways instead.

In what is probably an old brewery, a small restaurant where you can only order at the counter. But it is brought to the table. We had a small garlic and herb bread.

Great English pub with traditional food. The environment is spectacular. It was a little disappointing that even though the staff saw that we hadn't ordered for a long time, they didn't tell us that it was ordered over the phone 😃☎️ when we realized it, everything went smoothly. Second minus, we ordered chicken breast and a sausage arrived 😆 but we ate and ordered the breast, the second time it arrived. And the third minus, the fact that the tank is pilsner, I noticed even now from the review 😲 but the food was good, the drinks were also good.

Been here a couple of times, just for drinks. Unusually for a Nicholson’s pub it’s very good with excellent service. Didn’t eat because we’d booked elsewhere but I wish we had, the food coming out of the kitchen looked good. I had the Timothy Taylors Landlord and it was a well kept pint and Mrs M had a very good G&T in a posh glass. Well done guys
