Corrigan's Mayfair in City of London, Westminster

1st time to Corrigans for all 4 of us and it certainly wont be the last. We had an excellent set lunch menu and also used the BYO offer which made it great value. Dickies bar for a pre drink before sitting down to lunch is lovely and all the staff were excellent. Every time the four of us meet I choose a different restaurant in London, but I wont need to do that anymore. We all loved it there.

Went for our anniversary meal. Food good. Decided to go for the tasting wine. Really disappointed. Wine nice but over the course of my 3 course lunch I think a had in total about half a glass of small wine. I get tasting but this was ridiculous. Strongly suggest not to do this!

Love food wonderful service. The chicken was extremely good and both of my guests loved the cod. The bread at the start of the meal was delicious.

From the time we arrived everything was marvellous. The staff were so polite, pleasant and accommodating. The food and wine were superb. Thank you.

My guest and I both commented that the service was "leisurely". Having said that, there were plenty of staff. And maybe the there were delays in the kitchen. But it did seem that the guests had to wait on the staff, rather than the staff wait on the guests. To be fair, there was lots of engagement and chit-chat with the staff, but the service was, to be frank, indolent. And indeed, I would have challenged the service charge, but for the fact I was the host. Having said that, the food was excellent. So maybe the chef and the kitchen need to have a talking to with the front of house. To recap, the food was great but the service was lackluster compared to competitors in the same market segment, and the lack of service considerably undermined the spikey price points of the menu. I would suggest that you lift your game; let me know when you have done so, and I will return And if it were my business, I would want to know about this sort of thing Many thanks Peter

We have been habitués of Corrigan's for three years, as we live in the area, but we won't be going back. They have lost their whole front of house team. There was only one waiter tonight, who was very attentive and kind to the extent he could be, but we waited and waited after asking to pay our bill, as he was occupied with a table of four high maintenance men. The starters were disappointing. The lobster was overcooked and tough. The sauce for the sweetbreads was bland. The duck main was tough and the pastille served with it too sweet. The guinea fowl with nudga is a brilliant dish and worth a visit in its own right. The wine list is very limited and very overpriced. Sad, but we've lost a neighbourhood favourite.

I had a lunch at Corrigan's Mayfair with my wife and two family members - and what a treat it was. The three-course lunch menu is amazing value. All three courses were lovely and the service a delight. This is my second visit to Corrigan's in the last few months and I will definitely be going back. Well done everyone involved.

We visited one Saturday night and dropped into Dickies bar first. Live pianist, singing Sanatra, gave this place an amazing intimate atmosphere. We then moved onto the restaurant. We chose the a la carte but the fixed menu also looked amazing. We were not disappointed. Food was excellent, service super friendly. Would love to return.

My wife and I visited Corrigan's for lunch .. and what a treat it turned out to be. The set-lunch menu proved to be tremendous value for money - surely one of the best in London. All three courses were superb, the service impeccable and the surroundings just perfect. We had a drink in Dickie's bar - next door - where the whole vibe is very relaxed, just like the restaurant. We will definitely be going back.

Excellent service & calm ambience, always a winning combination for a business dinner.

We went to Corrigans in a group of 8 for lunch and we all throughly enjoyed it. We were booked for 1pm and arrived just on time but with one person running late. We were told there was no rush soere we were seated in the bar while we waited for our friend. We sat down at 1.30 and were allowed to settle in before our orders were taken. We has various starters and for mains 6 of shared the Beef Wellington which comes as indivual Wellingtons for two to share. the other two shared a cote de boeuf The food was fantastic and the somellier was on hand to offer advice on the wine which was decanted ready for the mains. This will ne an annual event for us from now on

Shocked at the bill for 2 people with 2 courses and no alcohol coming at over £235. Worse still was that my Dover sole was both overcooked and stale. I asked that the sauce contain no wine. So I got no sauce. For an establishment of this calibre, I'd have expected the chef to try a bit harder with a another type of sauce. Instead, I had an overcooked and therefore dry fish, which also seemed to stale. Won't be returning. I only came because an experience 4 years ago was much nicer.

Corrigans is one of the most reliable restaurants in london we have never had a bad meal here , and - quite amazing the owner and head chef Richard Corrigan is frequently in the restaurant . We went for a new years eve dinner and there he was carving at at a table jollying customers along -now this is a rare sight in london a celebrity chef actually putting in an appearance in his restaurant !! Our food was delicious , faultless , service very friendly and engaging , the room decked out in balloons on the ceiling , the lighting low and romantic -wow!

We took advantedge of their BYO and arranged for a group of colleagues and business contacts to each bring a bottle. The food was superb with a highlight being the beef wellington. Service was first class and with the ability to BYO we were able to enjoy some wines that might ordinarily have been a little too pricey for us. The afternoon was one of those very enjoyable leisurely affairs and at no time did we feel under any pressure that we had overstayed our welcome.

Had our Xmas party here with friends and booked the private chef's table. I had relatively high expectations but my expectations were exceeded. Max our waiter looked after us all night from the pre-dinner cocktails in the bar to service in the room. Given that these UK celebrity TV chefs are seldom or never in their kitchens I wasn't expecting Richard to be there but boy was I wrong, not only was he on the line cooking which we could have seen from the chef's table looking into the kitchen but he also came in and chatted to us a view times. The food was outstanding and everything from start to finish was to the highest standard I will come here again and might book the Chefs table for next year Xmas party

We had a quandry. What to order? Everything on the menu sounded great, but eventually we made a decision. Sadly the beef wellington was sold out. For starters we had the chicken liver and foie gras terrine which was very good. The portion size was a surprise, it was about double what I would have expected. Next up was fillet of beef. I'm always a little wary of ordering fillet of beef as I like my beef cooked blue but I don't want it to be cold in the middle. No such problems here, the fillet was cooked exactly how I like it, that is it say, barely cooked at all and it was hot all the way though. We over ordered on sides and had to leave some brussels sprouts and carrots to make sure we could manage a desert. Oh dear, a quandry with the desert menu again. I went for the apple tart fine and my partner had the rich chocolate tart. From what I'm told the chocolate tart was indeed rich. The apple tart was delicious which crisp pastry and vanilla ice cream that actually tasted of vanilla. This was our first visit here, it definitely will not be our last.

Has an amazing birthday lunch with my family in the Kitchen Library. Our host, Max, was fantastic ... friendly, chatty, entertaining and made us all feel comfortable. We were also lucky enough to meet the man himself, Richard Corrigan, who was working in the kitchen (apparently he always works in the kitchen unlike a lot of "celeb" chefs). We ordered 3 courses off the a la carte and I received a small birthday treat too. Every dish was delicious, cooked to perfection and presented excellently.

My cousin and I were staying at the Chesterfield Mayfair. Concierge made our reservations. We could have walked, but it was COLD!! We had the set menu. I opted for the pasta, with an extras 10L for truffles. Delicious!! Forget what my cousin had, but she felt the same way. Service was excellent and Mr. Glen Harris, GM was very attentive even though we were no one important. Highly recommend!!

To the team at Corrigans, I had the pleasure of lunching at Corrigans Mayfair yesterday. The experience was absolutely faultless. We’ve dined at lovely restaurants in London, but this was by far our best experience. The food was outstanding, we thoroughly enjoyed a 3 course set menu. But I have to say what made this experience so special was the service. Thank you to everyone front of house yesterday that made our visit so fantastic - a special thanks to Aaron - this really will be a lunch to remember. We had booked Corrigans for Saturday night dinner. The food was fantastic.. excellent touch with the extras they give you in between. We had the beef wellington for two people - it was absolutely delicious. The staff were excellent - from the men who greeted as at the door, to the sommelier who definitely knew his wines. Our waiter in particular was a young gentleman (unfortunately we didn't catch his name) but he was fantastic. The atmosphere was lovely too - a real mix of ages and the vibe was just great. We cannot wait to return and will definitely recommend to our friends and family. 5 stars from us !!

Overall really good experience. I arrived early and was very well looked after my Francesco, Luigi and Alessandra on front desk. Food was excellent and they accommodated the very late arrival of our Oriental colleagues.

This wasn't my first time to Corrigans, Mayfair. I have always had excellent food and service here but on this occassion the three courses i ordered were the best i have had so far. The baby beetroot salad was simple and delicious followed by the Hereford beef, which was stunning. I finished with the chocolate marquise, again delicious. To top things off we even managed to meet Chef Corrigan himself at the end of our meal! An amazing way to finish and amazing meal. Thankyou.

Had pleasant drinks in the open air atrium and then move into vast room for lunch. The room was used by the Defence Dept during WW2 and house some of the security services. The menu was not very inspiring but enjoyable and I would regard it as "being one up" from really good pub food

A fantastic celebration was enjoyed because of the craft and attention to detail of all who work there. Amazing food and great wine. Honestly one of the nicest meals we’ve ever had. Came for the set lunch to celebrate a birthday and will definitely be back. Four of us, four clean plates for every course. Service is relaxed but completely on point. We had a wonderful afternoon. Thank you.

Had the lunch service today and it was a wonderful 2 hours. The staff were attentive and so friendly but not in your face. It was not too busy but had enough customers to give the place a buzz. The food was fabulous and the dessert of poached peach was delicious and probably the best I have ever had. Would recommend a visit without a doubt.

Second visit to Corrigans this year and it was excellent. Great table in a private corner meant we could laugh and enjoy ourselves with out worrying others. Food was sublime and wines, helped by sommelier, were excellent. I love this restaurant and it would suit dates or bigger groups.

I have been going to corrigans for many years with my wife and more recently on business as well . Firstly the bar is great , looks very good then the restaurant at lunch time not so busy as in the evening but a very attractive room . We had the set lunch for the gazpacho of which I can say I am an aficionado , this was small and intense - perfect then My guests had the Mille feuille - also perfect then we all had the most tender Hereford beef fillet in a lovely sauce Terrific from start to finish The previous review must surely have been written under the influence of something it was just nasty and most importantly not true .

Knus restaurant met bar ernaast. Bij boeking als extra glas champagne om mee te beginnen. Heerlijk. Bediening is vlot en beleefd. Wij kiezen voor 3-gangen menu waar je per gang een keuze kunt maken. Heerlijke (wel erg kleine stukjes) zwezerik vooraf. We namen ook wijnarrangement erbij en dat zijn meestal perfecte combinaties met de gerechten. Normaal komt iemand een glas inschenken met een goed verhaal over de wijn en spijscombinatie, maar hier krijg je al ingeschonken glazen met de mededeling: hier is een pinot noir uit Polen (wel bijzonder,maar niet erg lekker). Dat hebben we eigenlijk nog nooit eerder zo meegemaakt in een wat beter restaurant. Waar tempo er eerst vlot in zit, duurt het erg lang voordat het nagerecht komt, wat prima smaakt, maar niet echt uitzonderlijk. Al met al prima gegeten, maar komt voor mij toch niet boven gemiddeld.

A place where the food menu is more than the staff's hourly wage makes me feel classy. Especially knowing their tronc is capped no matter the earnings. It feels western, it feels london, it feels proud. (sarcasm for rtarted) Managers care about only if the manager above them is happy. This does good for keeping the restaurant afloat and customers seen to. Ambience and evironment, cheap, pretentious and a theatre act. The food is genuinely terrible unless you powder all day and don't care about your food as it's washed down with farts in wine.. ie champagne. The General Manager for the new venue now NPG Corrigans even speaks in racist reach. Adding an accent to her speech every 5 minutes. Despite she is Scottish and Australian. You will notice at the entrance attractive women as, it's 2023 in London, what else did you expect as hosts? Minorities of Men? No no no. 10/10 FOR THE LONDON EXPERIENCE GUARANTEED.

I last visited Corrigans 13 years ago, so I wondered if it had changed much. Fortunately it hasn't. Our long lunch (3 hours of non-stop chatting) was wonderful. 3 course lunch menu was £44. My starter of lamb sweetbreads was spectacular. My main of Irish Hereford Beef was melt in the mouth - and the marmite braised short rib rather better than it sounds! But a steep £18 extra. Pudding was a tarte tatin. All delicious. The service from every member of staff was delightful. Attentive, good natured without being stuffy - just right. Plenty of drinks, so a final bill of about £160 a head - I thought for the great time we had, that was a bargain. I'll try not to leave my next visit so long!

The food is simply superbe. Beautiful decor and attentive service. The monkfish was beautifully cooked , the asparagus were the perfect match . I particularly appreciated the effort on inventive side orders. Great champagne selection by the glass, and of course amazing wine list.
