Lovely little pub, but can get a bit crowded (especially when its raining). One of our go-to places for an after work tipple. Wine a little higher priced than I'd expect for this type of pub (even given the area and current market). Bar staff are nice, drinks selection and food are adequate. Overall I enjoy it because its not pretentious. Fireplace is lovely when it's cold out.

Cornerstone establishment of Fleet St area drinking. I dread to think how many "quick drinks" turned into full on sessions in here! Reinvented the pub dining experience c2010 with "meat on a stick." Too many positives to list!

I had not been to the Harrow for a few years until 25 August 2022. My friend and I had trouble finding it and were wondering if it had closed down but just before giving up we spotted a small crowd down the hill and thought that might be a pub. In fact it was the pub we were looking for! The Harrow we found out was comprehensively refurbished in 2017. It is a Fuller's pub so they sell London Pride, Dark Star Hophead. Also Tiny Rebel is currently a guest beer. There is usually something to eat here, in fact there is a more formal restaurant upstairs and it would be advisable to enquire beforehand for the latter. Very nice pub tucked well away from the beaten track of Fleet Street.

This Grade II listed pub is located just south of Fleet Street; it’s main entrance on Whitefriars Street and its rear on Primrose Hill. Built in the early 18th century, it was originally two houses. Having been closed for some time, it was leased from Fullers and reopened in November 2021. Following a further COVID-19 lockdown in December, these are still early days for the new tenants but Linda, the Peruvian Manager, is working hard to restore its fortunes. A friendly welcome and nice environment. Recommended.

Wonderful to see The Harrow open once again. Tucked away just to the south of Fleet street. A pub with charm and character in abundance. A delightful lady at the helm of this ship, sure to sail a true path. Great beer and a compact, simple but enticing menu. There is a "snug" named after Fleet street journalist Vincent Mulchrone. A fine tribute to the days when Fleet street passed news to the world. An excellent place to pop into for a beer and a chat with friends.

Had a disappointing experience at The Harrow last night. The wrong starters were served and had to be sent back, and then then 3 out of 4 of the mains were wrong. We were left very confused about why there had been so many mistakes. This would have been okay had there been a simple apology - but we were left feeling that we had been blamed for the mix up. One of the party who had the correct main then had to eat it whilst we waited for the other mains to be made. Again there was no apology for this inconvenience. Overall, not a good experience.

Working round the corner, I went for the first time for lunch with colleagues the other day. The upstairs dining room is really delightful! A very elegantly kitted out room, looks much posher than I would have expected for such a pub. And the food was fine. It’s pub-ish grub - burgers, salads, fish and chips, steaks - but nice enough to take people. I had a very nice hot smoked salmon nicoise and triple cooked chips.

The Harrow hosted our 50th birthday party, and I have to say that it could not have gone better. The venue, logistics, care and cost were all excellent. Katie, our host, catered for everything we wanted for our guests. The right balance of our own ideas, and things being taken care of. The buffet was delicious and having the option to have food upstairs, and drinks and dancing on the ground floor made for a flexible but coherent space. I would wholeheartedly recommend this as a venue for a party hire - and will certainly think of using it again.

I got lots of (unprompted) complements on the buffet, from both meat lovers and vegetarians. We were very well looked after and had a fantastic night. I also went a couple of times to check the venue out before booking - staff were always friendly and it had a welcoming, relaxed feel. So think it's a nice place for after work drinks too. And expect the rest of the menu is delicious too.

My girlfriend and I were in London to watch the festivities for the Great Fire of London and this place happened to be near by (a helpful sign pointed us in a direction of a 'pub'). Came in and your first impression will be that this place is cosy. This is something they do have on the wall. But despite it being cosy the food was very good and drinks were set up with the normal selection you would find in London. If looking for a range of craft beer then this is not the place for you, but for a place to have some good food, a nice beer then I would recommend stopped here if in the area. The place did seem a bit rushed when it got busy, thankfully we turned up just before this so sat back, enjoyed our food and watched the England game on the that was within a metre of our table, did I mention that the place was cosy?Overall, a pleasant stop here and if I were to be in the area again I would not stop anyone suggesting a visit.

A must-see for anyone who appreciates the decorative arts, for anyone looking for people who dared to live their dreams and change the state of things and confront the standard. William Morris was all this and much more. The visit is inspiring, I was particularly touched that he believed in his wife and encouraged her to go further at a time when women were appendages to their husbands and female education was not considered necessary or useful. What's more, he believed in other women and provided trades so that they could be more autonomous. After visiting the gallery, I came to understand why there are so many antique shops in the neighbourhood and why Morris' prints can be found in many local businesses. There's a market that sells post-walk treats and a souvenir shop for all budgets. Entry to the permanent exhibition is free and the staff are friendly and helpful.

My wife and I were looking for some Thai food and saw this on Google and were a bit apprehensive seeing that it was also a pub. Walking in we were immediately greeted by the guys behind the bar, even when they had a number of customers they were serving, and asked what drinks they can get for us. We were clearly confused on where the Thai restaurant was and the guy was very friendly and showed us the way to the stairs and we took our drinks upstairs. The restaurant had just the chef to cook and wait tables and he was very friendly and the food tasted great. A bit weird when you're not expecting that setup with the pub but once we were there we loved it. Again, super friendly bar and chef upstairs and we felt very welcomed and comfortable the entire time.

Lovely hotel in a very busy bit. Not a place to try to drive to as there is little parking, pollution charges. Taxi, Underground good to go. Black Taxi a bit more expensive than Uber but Uber drivers have to Pay £50 for entering the City centre so to be fair use black cabs. Either that or book the same Uber driver in and out to help cover the additional cost. All you would expect in the hotel and bar as you would expect for this high-level establishment.
