We walked into the pub by chance and absolutely loved the atmosphere. The size and number of floors and niches cannot be seen from the outside. 👍👍👍

Poor service and poor food quality. Staff were nice but not a place I’d go to again

This is one of the most unique pubs in London. The atmosphere is fantastic, but it tends to get very crowded. Be aware that their large glass of wine is more like a medium size.

I bought a pint of Moretti and half a pint of Aspalls here last night. The bar tender didn't show me the card price but kept it high so I asked how much it was as this was slightly odd. He then just said yep a pint of lager and half a pint of cider to confirm, and I thought since it's so busy and he must have not been showing the price by mistake, I paid for it. Since there was no signal, I only got the price pop up on my phone as I'd left shortly after. He had over charged me of £26.94. Absolutely done on purpose, overcharged my by over £16 trying to take advantage of what he assumed was a 'drunk young female. Disgusted and probably not going to get my money back.

A unique place, almost a labyrinth 😜 where it's good to get lost. Great atmosphere!

Quite busy but really fun pub in the Center of London just around Picadilly Circus

Nice large pub with different floors and areas where you can stand at the bar or sit quietly at a table.

It became one of my favorite pubs in London. It was a very interesting place to spend time in the heart of Soho, with its labyrinth-like plan and decorations. Even though it was quite crowded, we were able to find a place at a table, even as a guest. We had a very pleasant evening with the crowd accompanying live music.

Wasn’t impressed with the Sunday roast, very bland! The staff were not friendly at all.

Went here for some post theatre drinks. Vibrant and friendly. Beer and wine great at reasonable price.

Fantastic looking pub. I mean I haven't seen better one in my life. It's huge and with superb atmosphere. It's like some mid eval church but with this warm feeling. It's simply stunning. The only downside is the prices. Very easy to spend over £100.

Good price for being in city centre

Amazing maze of a pub, the decor reminds you of hobbiton from lord of the rings with loads of trees and wooden furniture. Serve a great Guinness along with lively autentic irish music. I have never seen a pub be so full! 5* Highly recommended :-)

My girlfriend and I tried to enter this establishment yesterday and were denied entrance by a rather impolite doorman. Frankly, it's unfathomable to us why - neither was the pub too crowded to permit further guests, nor did we look like trouble in any way, shape or form. The level of rudeness with which we were told "no" baffled us, especially since the employee in question didn't even understand that telling someone "No" in a single word and without explanation, not even a "no, sorry", doesn't constitute decent manners. In all of London, we've never been treated in such a way.

Great Irish pub with a large selection of beers and drinks and also very decent food. The environment is wonderful , the theme and decoration is well thought of. Service can be slow, so you will need to have patience.

Deep in the heart of tourist town, but it does serve a decent Guinness (for London). Impressive building with multiple floors and a very bustling vibe.

Some bar Staff that worked on Monday evening were rude. and it wasnt one staff member it was more then 2... with chewing gum.. glasses dirty and they see the glasses are dirty but don't care . it's wasn't a nice experience ordering at the bar but food was good. Place was clean. and male staff member that served out food was nice .

It's a nice pub, but the bouncers at the door are very confusing. Music is too loud it's almost impossible to talk, so you end up shouting or quietly staring at each other.

The place is incredible, quite large and with many details. The very good atmosphere.

A classic of London nights! This absolutely beautiful secret gem at the heart of China Town will surprise you :) Its never ending spaces and corners are amazing.

This Pub is ok..ish... basic simple food. Also the pub smell old. It's big and very spacious for dancing. The attention was good at the Bar. In general "ok" I escpected something better as I read some good reviews before I went. A bit disappointed 😞

I had heard of this place, and coming in definitely lives up to expectations. A somewhat hidden Irish/ lord of the rings themed bar in soho. The decoration is amazing, the ambiance is great, and we thoroughly enjoyed the live music. It is a place to try at least once if you’re living in London. It’s just one of those that everyone knows about and you need to go at some point.

Always the best place to stay with friends when we visit London. Good food, good beer, great place and music. Everyone inside is happy ....and sing......and everyone has fun

Great atmosphere of an Irish pub. Not visible from the outside, but inside it is a very large place on several floors, the further away, the more space and people :) plus live music and lots of beers to choose from - I recommend visiting, you will stay longer!

Original pub that is worth going to see

This is one of my favourite pubs in London. The quirky decor and atmosphere make it such a great place to visit and this time I also tried the seasoned fries, which were fabulous! I enjoy introducing friends to this place which looks so unassuming from the outside, but hides a totally unique experience in its depths.

Great chain pub, decent pint of the black stuff

This pub is a hidden gem! It feels like Lord of the Rings, in a bar for Hobbits 🤓 The decoration is great, there is also a good choice of drinks.

The bar is absolutely huge, the ambiance is great with traditional Irish music. There's a good choice of beer and their cider is very good. Their pudding is also delicious.

Would of liked to visit this venue . The door employee wasn't of the best moods. An unintelliible request to check my bag, followed by ignoring me. DIsappointed.

Surprisingly, that night a rugby match was played between New Zealand and Ireland and the experience was magical. Unfortunately, the locals did not manage to beat the powerful New Zealand, but they fought and suffered like one more.🤣

Went here for a gentleman afternoon. Plenty of choice of larger and ales as you would expect at London prices £7.50 for Madri. This place is vast inside with a few surprises

A group spending a weekend in London, final night in Waxy O’Connors, what an evening. Great venue full of character, (an amazing place to explore, different levels/bars), stunning atmosphere and very welcoming staff and great food/drinks. We all had a great time and would highly recommend. Will definitely return as I know others from the group will also when next in London.

Gran lugar lleno de carácter, (un lugar increíble para explorar, diferentes niveles / bares) , ambiente impresionante y personal muy acogedor y excelente comida / bebidas. Great pub but it has become quite expensive since my last visit. Charged over £30 for two pints and two shandys (half pints + lemonade).

Was here for my 40th on Sunday night and was treated like a VIP in the VIP area!!! The selection of finger food was delicious and Prosecco was flowing! I loved the whole quirkiness of this pub and it’s many floors of wonderful things to see from years ago and a tree that goes straight through the middle!! It is beautiful inside. I also must say that the staff was also amazing and Johnny the manager from Brazil looked after us like royalty! We will definitely be back in the future and have already recommended this bar to my friend who is heading to London nxt wkend!!

We ended up in this pub quite by chance, and it turned out to be amazing. It looked small, but in fact you have to go down to the basement to discover improbable rooms with even a tree in the bar! The beers were good but the prices were a bit high

Nice Irish pub with lots of unique beer options and non-alcoholic beers included. Unfortunately the bartenders were not friendly so I wouldn't return here but had a nice time chatting with friends and meeting interesting people.

I love this place and my friend visiting from Holland loved it too - except for the fact that the service was, as usual, quite slow. Please put another member of staff behind each bar!

Without a doubt, the liveliest pub in London! The place has incredible decor. Always lively live music, cold beer, impeccable service, full spaces and, most importantly, happy audiences from all over the world. The food, no surprises, the traditional pub menu. Prices also follow those of other famous pubs in the city. I love this pub and whenever I travel to London I stop by here. I highly recommend it and I will be back soon!

Nice, clean and different place in the center of London...all good, but 2 white wines with soda for 20 pounds seems excessive to me, there was no place to sit either, and it was a Tuesday

Cosy iris style pub. Friendly staff. A good place to relax over a well poured glass of beet. Live music. Numeruos stairs to different levels.

A fantastic place, full of London history. Although be careful, they almost charged me twice for the food. Apart from that detail everything is perfect. The food is very good, the burgers and the Guiness pie are the best, highly recommended

This place is AMAZING! Great beers, staff members are very nice and the atmosphere is absolutely stunning! Different rooms so everyone can have one matching his vibe, each being absolutely beautiful. I'm sure they don't need advertisment, but I highly recommend this pub! You have to experience the atmosphere!

Stopped in for a pint - labyrinth would be the right word ! We could get over how the bars and stairs kept going. Beautiful architecture, nice bars, great service, and the best pint of Guinness I found in my half day in London. Great atmosphere, and not so loud that you can't have a conversation. If I ever make it back there, I'll be visiting again for sure.

I just thought this place had the coolest interior. Very convenient to Leicester Square. Make sure you head downstairs, it makes you feel like you stepped into a Tolkien book.

Probably the best Irish bar in London. Despite the size and inner grandeur of the bar, it’s remarkably well hidden and unknown. I’ve taken a number of Irish family in there before and had a brilliant time. They loved the decor and atmosphere. The food quality is quite average considering the price but it’s a great place for a drink, especially a Guinness.

Very busy but also a bad smell around bar area so couldn’t enjoy our drink even standing, slow to be served but it’s hard to judge a place when it’s so busy. I generally love all the waxys and can only really go by this experience but will go again when it’s a bit quieter (and sewage has been cleaned)

Great Irish pub. The atmosphere and place are original and unique. A very large place and a lot of people. Crowds and collective singing to live music. It's really noisy and crowded, but very nice. Not everyone may like this mood, but it's a place worth seeing.

Great place for a pint or 2...bank balance permitting. Lots of little ares to sit.
