We got a voucher for 3 course lunch from my dad. So glad we did as definitely found a place we will be back. Super friendly and attentive staff. Relaxed service without any pretentiousness despite the 5 star hotel vibes. Food is very reasonably priced. The wine list is huge and while most on the pricey side there are a few at more reasonable prices. Mainly French and Italian but with some more usual options hidden away. The food was amazing - all 4 of us polished our plates, everything was delicious and beautifully presented.

One of the best hidden gems I’ve encountered! Been coming here for over a year now and the food never disappoints. Good price and generous portions. My fav dishes are the grilled pork neck, pad see ew, cashew stir fry and the tomyum hot pot. The pub itself is also great, drinks are fairly priced. They have screens for sports. You can eat at the pub upstairs if you want a more pub vibe, or downstairs if you want a more quiet atmosphere.

This is the 2nd week in a row we have dined at the Soho Hotel for Sunday lunch. The food is perfect, but it's the service of the whole team that makes our visits so very lovely. Staff are friendly, warm and attentive without being over attentive. We look forward to many return visits.

Wanted to love it. They were short staffed, but the place wasn't busy. Drinks took forever, and they didn't taste good. Order wings, and after waiting 30 to 40 mins for wings, the chicken was barely done with chewy skin. It was one of the worst bar eating experiences in a long while.

I wanted to eat before watching the ballet, so I made a reservation at a restaurant inside the opera house. I couldn't get a reservation at the place I wanted, so I decided to come here. (2 months ago) There was an elderly Indian male staff member at the entrance of the Opera House, and when I asked him where the restaurant was, he was very curt. What I found very strange when I was in London was that white people were nice to me, but other races were not so nice to me. It's the opposite of the US. I wonder why. Well, the restaurant is on the third floor. It has a great view and a contemporary feel. The first person to take care of me was a young female staff member. However, midway through, the staff changed to men. The table was passed through, but it was wobbly, probably because the floor wasn't straight or the legs of the table weren't even. When I looked down, I saw that the paper that had been pinned to the table leg had come loose. I mentioned this to the male staff member, but he was busy and I ended up having to eat at the wobbly table for a while. I had reserved a two-course meal. It was delicious, but it didn't leave an impression on me at all. The male staff were nice, but Considering the price, I feel like it's too casual. (about $200)

Peccato .

We recently arrived in London for work and holiday and have been at the Portman four times since. Twice we were there for a personal dinner and twice with coworkers/clients. The service has always been welcoming, the food has been excellent, and even though we're staying twenty minutes away, it's become our pub of choice. We will be back and look forward to it.
