P J's Bar & Grill in City of London, Westminster

Non tornavamo da qualche anno . Locale sempre molto carino ed accogliente . Peccato per il servizio ( veloce ma “poco attento “ ) e per i dolci davvero non al livello del locale e del resto del pasto ( e dei prezzi ). La pavlova , servita con il cucchiaino era immangiabile , dura , senza panna .... peccato ... conto in 3 con una portata ciascuno e 2 dolci sulle 100 sterline . Peccato .

Visitamos a nuestra familia en Londres de 3 a 4 veces al año y PJ siempre está en la parte superior de nuestra lista. PJ's tiene la misma sensación que PJ Clarks en Nueva York y Perry's en Union Street en San Francisco. La comida y el servicio siempre son grandiosos. es muy diverso y las selecciones en el menú superan con creces nuestros requisitos. La anfitriona, los camareros y el gerente tienen un agradable equilibrio de amabilidad y profesión. Fue nuestro cumpleaños de nietos de 6 años y tuvieron una agradable sorpresa de cumpleaños en el desierto.

Visito a la familia de 3 a 4 veces al año en Londres y P J's siempre es imprescindible Cenamos el viernes pasado en P J's La comida y el servicio eran geniales. Nuestro grupo variaba en edad y tipo de comida que preferían. Como en todas las otras ocasiones en que hemos estado en PJ, nuestras expectativas fueron excedidas.

Sono stata già tre volte a cena in questo ristorante nel cuore di South Kensington. Locale di atmosfera con buon menù. Consiglio di prenotare. Prezzo medio/alti ma buon rapporto qualità/prezzo e con un buon servizio. Valentina

It is a crying shame that rents have gotten so high in this part of town that this amazing institution couldn't survive another 27 years. I loved this place

PJ's is known for its great atmosphere. there is something special about it. it's a busy place, reminds me of NYC. the food is good, nothing special though. Having a drink at the bar is always plaisant.

Fantastic restaurant, just off Covent Garden. The food is impeccable and it has such a fantastic atmosphere, its not noisy but its just got great character, downstairs near the toilets you will see loads of great photos of famous people that have visited the restaurant over the last 4 decades or more. Its not pricey either. If you want a decent lunch or dinner with plenty of variety this is the place to go.

Unfamiliar with the area, we took a chance and booked online for the fixed two-course meal so that we could eat after a busy touristy day in London, prior to our trip to the Fortune Theatre for "Woman in Black". We needn't have worried, the meals (we each went for a different choice) were delicious, beautifully presented and brilliant value for money. Our compliments to the chef and kitchen team! Staff were very friendly, the atmosphere and ambiance was stylish and comfortable; we were served in good time and were able to stroll to the nearby theatre feeling very relaxed. What a contrast to trying to find somewhere excellent and good value to eat in Paris this summer! We'll definitely return when we are next in the area for theatre visits. Highly recommended

Non vi aspettate nulla di speciale da questo posto, ma è certamente ben arredato, confortevole, con personale attento, gentile e cordiale. I piatti sono i soliti, anche se ben eseguiti e presentati, e come al solito molto abbondanti. Se vi trovate dalle parti di Covent Garden, un posto dove vale la pena andare almeno una volta durante la vostra vacanza a Londra, fermatevi con tranquillità. Anche i prezzi restano ragionevoli, per una città come Londra.

I ate here with friends and went for their fixed two course menu, which included a glass of Prosecco in the price. Starters were good, I had beetroot gazpacho which was really tasty and refreshing, although a bit of an alarming pink colour! My friends had Ham hock rillettes which they enjoyed. For main course, most of us went for the beef tips cooked with mushroom. Soft pieces of steak cooked in a mushroom sauce with mushrooms, delicious. the bill, including service and a beer each came out at £20 per head, which I thought was good value given the quality of the food and the central london location.

After visiting "Stomp" the show, we walked just 5 mins through Covent Garden to the restaurant. There we was greeted with smiles and hospitality, we sat and ordered some drinks which considering the location was about average prices. We ordered our starter which only took about 15 mins to appear and was very well presented also very good. Our mains arrived again very well presented and there was no real waiting, our dishes were excellent to taste, we all tried each others and was very pleased. Dessert was a shear delight, I have two sons 10 and 17 years old and they have been know to be picky at times, not on this occasion. Both said they enjoyed everything. My wife also thought it was all very special and being her birthday was highly delighted. I had the good fortune to be able to apply a voucher for 50% off of the menu so as you can imagine I cannot fault it, we will visit again and if I have to pay full price it will still be worth it. We did not have a lot of time to eat before going to see the Lion King so we were very pleased when they said they could get us served quickly and they were true to there word .My daughter and I had really nice burgers my grandson was to excited to eat so the waitress brought him a spare plate so he could share ours.

As a visitor to London I was unsure of where to book for a pre theatre meal on a recent visit to the Aldwych. I decided on PJ's after viewing their website, and I was not disappointed. The minute we stepped through the door we were greeted by a very friendly bar tender and were accommodated when we asked to be seated 30 minutes prior to our booking.
