Honest Burgers in City of London, Westminster

The venue is located very close to the Liverpool Street stop. It is open for both lunch and dinner until 11pm and on Sundays until 9.30pm (which is not too obvious given that many restaurants close early). Spacious, and with plenty of seating. Both meat and vegetarian burgers all accompanied by chips. Very good and with the right portions. Fast service.

Delicious food, pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff. It was our first visit to an Honest Burgers restaurant and we weren't disappointed, the visit was exactly as expected. Upon arrival we were greeted and seated, the atmosphere and furnishings were pleasant in the restaurant and there were clean toilet facilities. The menu offering was plentiful and it had some great simple options and also fancier burgers too. There is something on there for everyone with beef burgers, vegetarian options and chicken too! Most of the burgers come with fries and they do a special bundle deal too, with drink options. Once we had ordered the food we didn't have to wait too long and then the food was brought out hot and fresh, with great presentation. It was absolutely delicious and full of flavour, I'd definitely recommend the smashed burgers as they're authentic and cooked perfectly. No room for dessert, but we were most happy! The restaurant wasn't busy at all but the service lacked slightly once we'd finished, as we waited a while for someone to clear the table and weren't offered the bill. I had to eventually go to the counter because after more than 15 minutes of waiting nobody had come to offer the bill and then when paying, I asked to remove the optional service charge of 12.5% as I didn't want to pay it. I was asked why I wanted to remove it, but I couldn't tell if this was a challenge to me or way of seeking genuine feedback? Nevertheless, I paid the bill owed and then we left with a departure greeting. The service was good and the staff were not rude at all however the reason for the four-star review and not five-star review, is the excessive wait time once finished and then not being given the bill. I don't agree with service charges being added to bills however if necessary a tip can be given but I didn't feel the service went above and beyond or warranted a service charge/tip. It was good service, but that is what I expect eating out at a location like this. Overall, it was a good visit but the service charge question left me feeling slightly annoyed as it is optional for a reason! The staff however were friendly and the ambience in the restaurant was great. Would I return? Certainly! Would I recommend it to friends and family? Most definitely. It was a good visit and I'd recommend this location to those seeking a tasty and satisfying meal out at an affordable price whilst not compromising on quality or taste. Thank you.

Close to Liverpool station. Quiet and cool place. The burgers are very good, with vegan options, and the right quantities. Fast and correct service. Price accordingly (you are in the center of London!). Cleaning ok too. 100% recommended

Beef sandwich simply super, meat cooked perfectly, juicy and good, fresh chips with rosemary aroma, perfect.

Burger was great, I particularly enjoyed their double smash with American cheese. I love the fact that every burger comes with chips. Those burger joints that make you order chips in addition to your burger is a crime. The service was a little bit slow, staffs can be more attentive. Overall was alright, but the table was not thoroughly cleaned and was a bit sticky. Hope they can improve cleanliness in this outlet.

The burger was ok but the fries were soggy and cold. It looked like they were from the day before and then re-heated. It is a shame because I love honest burgers.

With just given a knife to eat burger and fries with, maybe some sort of wet wipes would be useful. Poor choice of soft drinks.

I like to visit honest burgers as I travel to have the location special. This one was great and you will need to visit to find out what it is 9/10. Music was a little too loud but maybe I am getting old. Will be back soon

Went to London for a weekend and had to check out this place after some recommendations. The burgers are so tasty that we ate there for our only two days in the city. Their patties are so juicy, even the smashed ones are still pink inside and crispy on the outside. The burgers come with a very generous side of chips covered in rosemary that are also super crunchy. The chicken tenders and buffalo wings are also worth the visit, they both come with delicious sauces. The staff was avery attentive and friendly, the only bad thing about this place is that they don’t have a franchise in the Netherlands where I live hahahah 10/10. Will be coming back!

I had lunch with colleagues at Honest Burger, Liverpool Street. We went during work hours, and all the chicken served is halal, cooked separately from non-halal products. I chose the chicken signature burger with chips and buffalo wings. For drinks, we had the homemade lemonade, which was really refreshing in the warm weather. The service was good, and the food arrived quickly after ordering. However, after my colleagues finished eating, the waiter hurried to clear their plates while I was still eating—I would have preferred if they had waited until I was done. Overall, the food was great, thank you.

First time here the food was delicious and the atmosphere was amazing. The staff were very friendly and kind which made the experience more amazing!

Having visited many Honest Burger outlets over the years they have always been consistently great. The branch in Liverpool st however completely lets the brand down. The place looks dirty and the toilets were the same. The waitress appeared as though she couldn’t be bothered and the food served was definitely not the standard I’ve had in other branches. I will not be using this outlet again. Such a shame.

Burgers are good but pricey. Love the fries that are sprinkled with rosemary.

I think 3 stars Is generous but I’m going to give them the benefit on this occasion. Our food took 40 minutes to come out on a quiet Wednesday evening and when it did arrive everything was cold. The staff were lovely and gave us 50% off when they realised and apologised profusely but we were in the restaurant for almost 2 hours when this is supposed to be fast casual dining. The burger then came out piping hot and was enjoyed by everyone. The onion rings however I would avoid at all cost, or if you want the same experience just buy some vegetable oil from the shop and drink it. Staff seemed to be too interested in talking about their weekend plans and throwing bottles and paper in bins than checking on customers / running service. It was an interesting evening and I don’t think I’ll be back.

I had a great experience. The food was good, with the burger cooked to the perfect point. The fries were delicious, and it’s a plus that all hamburgers come with fries included. The staff was also friendly and kind, making the overall dining experience even better.

They say their chicken is halal and they have vegan options. But when calling to confirm they said they cook everything on the same grill. They said this includes the bacon in their burgers being cooked on the same grill as their "halal" chicken

As with other locations, they did a great job with gluten free options and minimizing cross contamination so it was suitable for those with coeliac. Overall delicious and safe.

Great burgers and service every time.

Food was standard fair. Service was poor. Server who was taking the order didn't come over when I asked him, so was asking me to shout the group I was with to place an order...while he sat on a stool with the tablet to take an order. When I asked him to come over again, he ignored me. Very poor service and attitude.

I haven't been to honest burger for a few years, I was disappointed overall the burger was very small and disappointing, chips were the remnants of crispy bits from the fryer, didn't have the rosemary smell like I remember. I left here and went to get more for lunch as this want enough for my meal. I don't think I will return. Especially when MC ds is just across the road.

Bit of struggle to find somewhere round here which was open at 9pm on a Friday night but v pleased to find this ... nice setting, v friendly service and a delicious burger. Can't fault the burger or the slaw - the chips were far too salty though.

I have just visited your branch with a friend of mine. We were seated straight away, which was nice. Upon being sat, it then took over 10 minutes to order food and drinks. We waited a further 10 minutes for the drinks to turn up. Food turned up around 20 minutes later, which was good. It took a while for the plates to be taken away, at which point we were not asked if we wanted anything else. It then took an HOUR of us waiting for my friend to give up on anyone coming over to check on us to go up to the bar and ask for the bill where 3 wait staff were stood seemingly having a chat. A further 10 minutes passed, and my friend then asked a second time where the bill was finally given to us. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who actually wants decent service!

Great food cooked to our liking and helpful staff. Gluten free options readily available as long as you tell the staff what you want. The only downside was them putting paper under the food which tore!

We had a great dinner here - amazing gluten free options too! The service was excellent and we really enjoyed the whole visit, well worth a visit. Only improvement would be the upstairs restaurant needs abit of upgrading, it's obviously getting alot of heavy use.

I think the rosemary-detailed fries are the best detail of this burger chain. Apart from that, the burger was also very delicious. We preferred smash burger, but I think they also make different special burgers in each region depending on the location. (Liverpool Burger was one of them in our location) Since we did not have much time, we could not try it in every region, but it is recommended for those who do not have time constraints :)

I love honest burger. Every time I’m in London and I’m meeting my brother for lunch we go here. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. The place always appears clean. I will be back

Bad experience today. Normally I order for collection and it's ready before the allotted time but today it wasn't. No problem, I am early but then the collection time passed and still nothing. It's now nearly 15 minutes past the requested time and still nothing except a 'we'll check with the kitchen'. Update: Food arrived 20 mins late but was good and I have updated the score to reflect this.

I recently tried ordering from the Liverpool St branch through UberEats, and let's just say it didn't go as planned. The food turned up cold, and I mean stone cold, not to mention it was late. It's not often I go for takeaways, so this was a real letdown. Trying to sort it out with UberEats was a dead end – all I got back was an automated message. Then, I reached out to the restaurant, where a manager tried to help by suggesting I report a missing item on UberEats, but honestly, it felt like talking to a wall at that point. I get that once the food leaves the kitchen, it's partly out of your hands, but this whole ordeal does leave a sour taste, reflecting on your brand too. The manager was kind, trying to help and all, but I'm still stuck on what to do next. Any advice or direct help you can offer would be great because right now, I'm just really disappointed with how it all turned out.

I had one of the best burgers of my life here with the outstanding Smashed Kimchi Burger. The fries with rosemary were also very good. The drinks were well chilled. My companion really enjoyed their plant burger. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasantly informal and the service guys did a great job. Highly Recommended!

Visited this franchise of honest burgers with a party from work whilst in London. Having been impressed with other honest burger franchises I had high expectations of this one and I wasn't disappointed. . The service was fast and efficient and the food was fabulous. The Liverpool Street chicken burger from the local menu was incredibly tasty and the best I've had in a while. . I thoroughly recommend this place and I will return when I'm back in London.

Visited the Honest burger place for Beyond Meat options. Unfortunately, the Beyond Meat Burgers were a too salty. Actually it was only salt flavor which is not nice at all. And it was for both burgers which we ordered. Because of bad taste of burgers the overall experience was average, with room for improvement in flavor balance.

We walked in and were seated straight away. Our waitor was helpful and informed us of many choices. The service with the food was prompt and very tasty. I had to go up to the bar and ask for salt as this was forgotten when I asked for it when the food arrived. But otherwise top notch food!

Despite not being the biggest burger fan, Honest Burgers is never a disappointment. I love their monthly specials and the options between beef and chicken. Good sides and decently priced.

Really tasty food- the price is just a bit too much. Luckily I had a voucher so pleased to pay the remainder- I know it’s London and they can’t change that. Service was great- we changed our order and it wasn’t a problem so thank you for accommodating. Loved the check backs! Thank you 🤩

I’ve been looking forward to visiting Honest for sometime, however, it wasn’t as good as I was excepting, I asked the waitress to talk me through the menu and give me her recommendations only to be met by a blank face. In the end I ordered the smashed burger, only to find when it arrived that it only had one patty. No one sells a smashed with only one patty, tasted ok but left wanting more.

Food is good. Service is poor. I was in the restaurant lunchtime today and kindly asked a male waiter if my food is ready since my friend who was with me was in a rush to carol service. All I got in reply is “Everyone is in a rush”. Not a big deal and female waitresses are nice. Only some of the male waiters need to learn what’s customer service.

I went there for a lunch with my girlfirend and i ‘ve been quite surprised about the ambient. The food is fantastic and the staff too, especially Luigi that suggest us to start with some appetizers and then the burgers that are deliciouses. We’ll definetly come back one day.

Amazing just what I needed on a Tuesday afternoon!

My partner and I both ordered the "Honest" burger with fries, onion rings, gravy and two ginger beers. The beef patties were moist and a good size, albeit lacking seasoning. However the rest of the food was a bit disappointing. The fries were overcooked and lacked seasoning, the onion rings were also overcooked and my partner also found dirt in his ginger beer so he had to send it back. I would however say the atmosphere was quite relaxing and the staff were helpful. I did find the service to be quite slow and given that it was relatively quiet at that time and we were sat close to the bar I feel it could have been better. Nonetheless, it's decent food for a pretty good price. I would try another Honest Burger branch.

A friend and I visited Honest Burgers, a well-known and well-trodden burger chain in the U.K., before heading to Alexandra Palace for a gig. The burgers were served quickly and were fresh and superbly cooked (medium rare to perfection). I had the Tribute burger, my friend had the Honest burger. Fabulous flavour, great fries, tasty local beer - and for under £30 each, a decent price for London. Will I go back? Honestly, of course ;)
