Lumi was our server today and we were on a time crunch and needed our food out fast, and he pushed our order all the way to the top and he brought out our food hastily to say the least, in less than 15 minutes, our food was out, phenomenal server, amazing food, impeccable atmosphere, would recommend to anyone and everyone, especially if you happen to get Lumi as your server

We booked a table for 6 for Sunday lunch. The boat itself is nicely set up for drinkers or for dining. Unfortunately, service was incredibly slow, and not overly engaged, and it took two hours to get through one course (the Sunday roast). The offer of unlimited potatoes, Yorkshires and gravy is a bit deceiving, as the initial portion size is not large, and it was 15 minutes after we finished our meal that our extras arrived (given we'd ordered them beforehand as well), rather defeating the appeal of unlimited extras. The rest of the food was actually quite pleasant, but not enough to make up for the otherwise underwhelming experience. We left without bothering to order dessert, due to the service time. For somewhere that actively advertised unlimited extras, and required a deposit per head for table bookings (despite barely being half-full), we found the experience a bit underwhelming.

I had a lunch date there. It’s a beautiful venue. On a sunny summer’s day, it’s the best place for a drink. We had lunch on the lower deck. It is at the water line and you can feel the movement of the boat. Had drinks and lunch. They have a well-stocked bar. I had scallops and they were small scallops. And they were delicious. Also had the beef short rib which fell off the bone which came with some greens and mashed potatoes. The beef ribs were tasty. The waiters were attentive.

We mostly came here because it looked like a cool location, being a floating pub on the Thames, and it was. We were seated on the lower deck. The food was pretty good, although nothing special, and the service was a little slow. I had the sausage and mash, glazed chicken skewers, and sticky toffee sponge. Overall, ok food with a cool location and river views.

I've been coming to this pub since the 90s. Always great for a gathering of my friends and family. My cousin booked an area on deck for a family party and the staff were great except one guy on the security team who accused my husband of being drunk before he even boarded (he'd literally come from work and hadn't had a drop). For some reason this guy had a problem with him throughout the night. We'd had a good evening with our friends and were finishing with one last drink and this guy gets on our case and starts harassing my husband again. The bewildered barman was told to stop serving us and we were ordered to leave. Usually the security staff at TC are professional, polite and respectful, but this guy behaved appallingly and shouldn't be anywhere near working in pub security or a customer service role. I will be taking this further.

We met with family for a lunch date and being that we weren't too hungry we opted for two sharing plates one of which was the seafood plate which was overcooked deep fried fish and squid with smoked salmon on the side. No imagination went into plating and it looked quite unappetizing being an all beige platter. I'm unsure if table service is actually offered here as we got our own drinks, asked for menus and placed the order ourselves. Our only interaction with a server was when we had finished the food and our table was cleared with no offer of desserts or another round of drinks. The guest sitting downwind of us also sat puffing away on a vape which constantly blew in our faces did not help and we decided to leave. Unfortunately a disappointing experience.

This is the restaurant I visited to see the London Eye night view. We simply ordered a bottle of wine and stayed until the London Eye lights up. You can order and receive alcohol directly at the bar, and you can sit wherever you want among the empty seats. I liked the exciting DJing and the beautiful scenery. One drawback is that because it is on a boat, it is cold in the evening even in summer. The party on board will be more enjoyable if you bring warm clothes.

Make no mistake, the location is great, and eating on a boat is a bit of a novelty. However, every single pint glass our drinks came in was FILTHY, with fingerprints, lip stains and even crusty bits of old fruit! Service was woeful, with a 5 minute discussion and many trips back and forth about my wife's gluten intolerance, before the waitress asked if anyone had any allergies at the table. The food itself was... fine, but charging £6.90 for a 330ml bottle of non-alcoholic beer is borderline criminal. We get it's a place milking the tourist hot-spot, but this place should at least have some half decent standards for itself, honestly!

The experience is very novel, old ferry with three bars. Middle bar is the most traditional (top deck is a pimms and lager sun spot, bottom deck is a murky cocktail lounge) the middle bar allegedly had 2 ales on, hobgolbin and london pride, however the guy behind the bar said they were both off as he could only get pints of foam from the pumps, went for neck oil instead which he thundered into the glass straight, so I think actually he could not pour ale! A great location…. This means you will pay for your most expensive pint when in London. Almost £7 a pint! The great location with a good vibe is the only thing going for it. Staff are unfriendly and can barely stretch to a smile. The female staff member doing bag searches on the brow couldn’t even response to a simple hello. The bar queue on the top deck is pretty slow and you find yourself queueing between tables. Bit cheeky asking for a tip on the card machine before payment when it’s not clear which option to press ( hoping to confuse tourists into an easy tip). A tip for pouring a bad pint with a missable attitude isn’t the best approach. If they had better staff it would be a more enjoyable venue.

If you have ever dreamed of sailing down the mighty river Thames, on a luxury yacht, cruising from sunset until dawn, filled with party goers like Diddy celebrating spring break, back in the day that is, this is not the place to visit. The Tattershall Castle is moored up, probably for health and safety reasons as I daresay it's far from seaworthy, but remains a fixture of London's pub scene, located between Embankment and Charing Cross stations. The location alone means it is often filled with tourists and office workers, with many central government and diplomatic buildings in the immediate vicinity. You enter via a gantry on Embankment, which is always manned by security guards in the event of piracy or stowaways, with the top deck, to use the nautical term, as you would expect, lined with planks of wood, with several tables, 2 bars and plenty of room to stand, whilst the boat gently rocks. The downstairs, or lower deck, once again to use the proper naval lingo, is carpeted, has one bar but more seating and tables for diners, and is fitted throughout with dark wood panels and brass fixtures, resembling the Harwich to Hook of Holland P&O ferry from the 1980s, a classy, if not understated, look. Points deducted for the poor service experienced on my last visit. The gentleman behind the bar with the 'KING' diamanté chain took my order for 2 drinks, poured one, then promptly forgot about the other one and started slicing lemons. I watched him do that for half a minute before asking for the drinks, to which he got huffy, before pouring me the flattest pint of Beavertown Neck Oil I have ever been served, KING AWFUL is all I can say. Overall, an average vibe, a great location and bad service - also a great place for a cheeky swim!

Such a shame a lovely location is wasted on this pub. The staff were uninterested, lazy and bothered to sit on their phones instead of providing service. The tables were grubby with only 3 other people that we could see sitting in the main outdoor section. We had to spray and wipe our own table while the man behind the bar sat on his phone but handed us the spray. I’ve read the reviews and notice the reply is very copy and paste. Not writing this for an outcome just a heads up to other patrons if they bring someone here, not worth the embarrassment of going to a subpar spot.

They hadn't been before but they loved it as soon as we got there. Great service, great views, great atmosphere & a great time had! What more can you ask for?! London Eye is directly opposite, so Tattershall Castle is perfectly placed in the Thames! A must visit!!!!

Some friends and I came here for the evening, it was a very last minute trip to see a comedy show which is in the bottom of the boat. There seemed to be a few different things on that evening in various areas, including a DJ on the top deck which was incredible. Really good views, good vibes and great service! Reasonably priced, a double vodka and lemonade was only £7!

This fish and chips place near Oxford Street is average, with a minimum order of £10 per person. They also add a 12.5% service charge for dine-in, which feels unnecessary. Service charges should be optional, especially since food and labor costs in the UK are already high, unlike in the US where servers depend on tips due to lower wages.
