We mostly came here because it looked like a cool location, being a floating pub on the Thames, and it was. We were seated on the lower deck. The food was pretty good, although nothing special, and the service was a little slow. I had the sausage and mash, glazed chicken skewers, and sticky toffee sponge. Overall, ok food with a cool location and river views.

Afternoon Tea was lovely. Bottom layer was 2 Chicken and Avocado sandwiches (Other options available). Second Layer was two brownies and 2 raisin scones. Top layer were sweet biscuits and cream and and unknown dessert (maybe strawberry ice cream with other stuff?). All tea options were twinnings, I had peppermint. All of it was excellent.

Don’t leave a deposit! Left a £2,000 deposit for a business event and a month later it’s still not been refunded. Bar staff seem a bit entitled, as if we are meant to thank them for letting us drink there. Food is reasonable. Basically an overpriced Weatherspoons with a great view.

This is the restaurant I visited to see the London Eye night view. We simply ordered a bottle of wine and stayed until the London Eye lights up. You can order and receive alcohol directly at the bar, and you can sit wherever you want among the empty seats. I liked the exciting DJing and the beautiful scenery. One drawback is that because it is on a boat, it is cold in the evening even in summer. The party on board will be more enjoyable if you bring warm clothes.

Make no mistake, the location is great, and eating on a boat is a bit of a novelty. However, every single pint glass our drinks came in was FILTHY, with fingerprints, lip stains and even crusty bits of old fruit! Service was woeful, with a 5 minute discussion and many trips back and forth about my wife's gluten intolerance, before the waitress asked if anyone had any allergies at the table. The food itself was... fine, but charging £6.90 for a 330ml bottle of non-alcoholic beer is borderline criminal. We get it's a place milking the tourist hot-spot, but this place should at least have some half decent standards for itself, honestly!

The experience is very novel, old ferry with three bars. Middle bar is the most traditional (top deck is a pimms and lager sun spot, bottom deck is a murky cocktail lounge) the middle bar allegedly had 2 ales on, hobgolbin and london pride, however the guy behind the bar said they were both off as he could only get pints of foam from the pumps, went for neck oil instead which he thundered into the glass straight, so I think actually he could not pour ale! Food is available at very expensive prices which is expected for the location. (£17 a burger, £18 fish and chips).

A great location…. This means you will pay for your most expensive pint when in London. Almost £7 a pint! The great location with a good vibe is the only thing going for it. Staff are unfriendly and can barely stretch to a smile. The female staff member doing bag searches on the brow couldn’t even response to a simple hello. The bar queue on the top deck is pretty slow and you find yourself queueing between tables. Bit cheeky asking for a tip on the card machine before payment when it’s not clear which option to press ( hoping to confuse tourists into an easy tip). A tip for pouring a bad pint with a missable attitude isn’t the best approach. If they had better staff it would be a more enjoyable venue.

I am giving this one star for atmosphere because the boat is not as well tied up as it might be, so it moves a lot. Enough that I felt really uncomfortable at the back, and still not very good in the middle. Hence I had to leave the party earlier than I would have liked. That is a shame because it was a good party! So off you have any sort of balance issues, or are just getting on a bit, go somewhere else. If you have ever dreamed of sailing down the mighty river Thames, on a luxury yacht, cruising from sunset until dawn, filled with party goers like Diddy celebrating spring break, back in the day that is, this is not the place to visit. The Tattershall Castle is moored up, probably for health and safety reasons as I daresay it's far from seaworthy, but remains a fixture of London's pub scene, located between Embankment and Charing Cross stations. The location alone means it is often filled with tourists and office workers, with many central government and diplomatic buildings in the immediate vicinity. You enter via a gantry on Embankment, which is always manned by security guards in the event of piracy or stowaways, with the top deck, to use the nautical term, as you would expect, lined with planks of wood, with several tables, 2 bars and plenty of room to stand, whilst the boat gently rocks. The downstairs, or lower deck, once again to use the proper naval lingo, is carpeted, has one bar but more seating and tables for diners, and is fitted throughout with dark wood panels and brass fixtures, resembling the Harwich to Hook of Holland P&O ferry from the 1980s, a classy, if not understated, look. Points deducted for the poor service experienced on my last visit. The gentleman behind the bar with the 'KING' diamanté chain took my order for 2 drinks, poured one, then promptly forgot about the other one and started slicing lemons. I watched him do that for half a minute before asking for the drinks, to which he got huffy, before pouring me the flattest pint of Beavertown Neck Oil I have ever been served, KING AWFUL is all I can say. Overall, an average vibe, a great location and bad service - also a great place for a cheeky swim!

Such a shame a lovely location is wasted on this pub. The staff were uninterested, lazy and bothered to sit on their phones instead of providing service. The tables were grubby with only 3 other people that we could see sitting in the main outdoor section. We had to spray and wipe our own table while the man behind the bar sat on his phone but handed us the spray. I’ve read the reviews and notice the reply is very copy and paste. Not writing this for an outcome just a heads up to other patrons if they bring someone here, not worth the embarrassment of going to a subpar spot.

My partner booked comedy tickets here for us after a theatre show and we weren't disappointed!!! Great atmosphere, location and reasonably priced. The show was amazing, been a long time since comedians have left me physically crying laughing. HOWEVER, the most important feedback for the night was regarding the staff members, one particular who was wearing a dress, boots and glasses (no name unfortunately sorry!). The seating was arranged prior by the venue, which is something that sometimes happens at locations, its no biggie, this was also clarified on the website. Three customers decided that wasn't the case for them and moved themselves leaving other people who arrived just after them to not able to sit together. This lady asked very politely for them to move back to their allocated seats and explained fully the reasons why, however these people refused, very rudely and made a scene, repeatedly over it. Threatening to complain all over the place about them. The employee was so professional, polite and calm. These people eventually moved, delaying the show by 20 minutes, but the show went on and it was fabulous! Will 1000% be visiting again and would have zero issues recommending the venue!!

Very difficult to describe just how bad the service was here. 25-30mins to order drinks. After an hour and incorrect drinks being delivered twice it started to become quite comical….especially as the waitress wasn’t able to tell us what the drinks were she was trying to leave on the table. We left after having to ask for the bill 4 times, having the incorrect bill delivered twice and ultimately loosing our sense of humour about the whole situation. Apparently they do food. Given the drinks experience I’d suggest ordering 3-4 weeks in advance.

Its really a nice pub near to Notting Hill. I love the vibe there and seating area outside makes it special during sunny days. Even in winter they have heater outside so all good. Staffs were amazing and seating area inside too is better. Will love to visit again.
