Lovely welcoming pub, good atmosphere and great music.

We private hired the bottom two floors of The Blue Posts for a work event and we had such a great experience, I would recomment the venue to anyone. The initial communication was excellent, helpful and informative. They helped us to create a bespoke drinks menu and branded it with our company logo, and also were very helpful to suggest some 'micro branding' opportunities such as branded beer mats and napkins, so we had a company flare to the venue. When we arrived the lights were dimmed and tea lights were put out to create a relaxed atmosphere. The staff were fun and attentive, the music was perfect for the vibe we wanted to create. Our guests were very impressed and felt well looked after. The drinks and food/nibbles were all delicious and we hope to come back in the future. Decent, but because of it beeing in London...one of the the least good city in UK to go on a night out, its decent at most.

Had a quick pint after work. Place was vibey and service was great.

This pub has a fantastic vibe, it’s small and cozy. The drinks are definitely on the expensive side but they are so delicious! You can definitely tell they are high quality.

Tiny pub on the edge of SoHo. Lively. Good music. Good Guinness. Go !

This pub itself is a solid and historic venue in central London. In addition to the standard pub offering, there is a 12 seater Michelin star restaurant downstairs (Evelyn’s Table) and a wine bar upstairs.

Lovely little pub, excellent choice of beer, friendly staff.

Very nice place where we enjoyed a very good fish and chips. The decoration is pleasant. The server was smiling and pleasant. We came there by chance and didn’t regret it!

Had a great Sunday lunch. John and Paulina were great! Had the steak and ale pie. Atmosphere was great and the staff made sure we were well taken care of.

Great spot to come for a couple pints on a rainy day. Staff couldn’t have been nicer, and had rugby on the Tele. Great selection and easy seating availability both upstairs and ground level. Overall great little pub.

Absolutely the worst experience in 35 years of living central london . All I wanted was a quick drink whilst my wife shopped in China town . What I got was a extremely rude female member of staff. I asked for my drink a large whiskey and she brought out a high slim glass so I politely asked for a tumber . When i paid she totally went off on one accussing me of not telling her my requirements ( shouting ) extremely rude and embassing Isn't the bar staffs job to ask what the customer requires . I was so annoyed I went out side in the cold to calm down and finish my drink . Even the door man apologised for her behaviour. Totally ruined my evening thank you

Always drop in when I'm in the neighbourhood and it never disappoints. Had a friend in tow the last time and had to run off early. He told me later that he'd spent the most wonderful afternoon relaxing over a few pints while Carnaby St bustled past.

Its a pub, nice decoration. Food snacks not so impressive, but still fine for a quick stop to relax and chat

Drinks were good, staff could be friendlier. Was put off enough to leave after a drink to find better service elsewhere

The atmosphere was warm and charming. The bartenders were kind and highly accommodating for a sober customer in making me a delicious and reasonably priced mocktail. They also had a great beer selection for the beer drinkers. Would highly recommend.

Ate at Evelyn's Table, with a stop in their 1st floor wine bar. Probably one of my best London experiences! The Only negative to mention is the tight squeeze and elbow knocking of the 12 diners at the counter. Everything else was 100% Michelin awesomeness. Well done.

Stopped off for a few beers on a cold December Saturday night, jam packed inside and out, excellent ales and beers on tap, the Stout was impressive.

Make sure you get the right Blue Post if on a crawl. There's another one up the road.

Great selection of beers and great atmosphere

Fast service, good food (fish and chips, of course), pleasant staff. We were very satisfied. It was a nice ending of a busy day.

Very rude waitress. After ordering a couple of beers, the waitress pours 1/4 of a pint and the tap runs out. At this point I ask her to switch for another cheaper beer as I’m in a hurry after waiting a while to order. She then says that since she already poured some she won’t change and the swap should take a couple of minutes. 10 minutes later still no beer, some creep starts hitting on me at the bar and I ask for a second time to get a different beer as I never intended to spend 20min at the bar, to which she still says no, and then takes another good 5 to pour the beer cuz it’s apparently the first time she’s doing it. At least pay back the inexperience with some form of kindness. Rudest place never going back

The middle aged blonde woman working behind the bar 03/11/23 ! Rude, arrogant and quite honestly should not be the face of this pub! Clearly dislikes her job and lets everyone know it!

Good beer selection on tap. Perfect service

Staff obnoxious and rude. Bread eventually arrived after we had finished the meal. The American stuck up waitress looked astounded that we no longer needed bread as we were leaving. Atmosphere up stairs was terrible. Experience and an insult to anyone who is use to good food and quality waiting staff.

Just popped in for a quick pint on a Saturday afternoon with my 6yr old daughter (no stranger to sitting quietly in a pub) and was told pretty abruptly that no children were allowed. Not even sitting outside. Nothing on the website about a no-child policy. So a thumbs-down from me.

This place has lost all its charm. Obnoxious, unfriendly and unhelpful staff - especially the floor manager or whatever he is. Will never return and neither will the group who experienced it. Terrible.

Great beer. Don’t ask for a cocktail (dirty martini)

Extremely rude staff. We went here for a drink last Friday, we ordered two glasses of wine and paid for them. We noticed the wine tasted different to expected and that we had been over charged. We mentioned this to the bartender and he told us that we ordered a different wine. When we asked could we have the original wine we ordered he replied, ‘I’d prefer if you took the refund’. I said that we’d prefer the other wine instead and he said he’d check but said they probably didn’t have it. As expected, ‘it was out of stock’. Five minutes later, the manager approached us and asked are you the guys who got the “wrong wine?” she used her fingers to make quotation marks “”). It was a most unenjoyable experience and the staff didn’t apologise. All we wanted was them to acknowledge the mix up with payments, we were not looking for a refund. A terrible start to our evening.

Really disappointed the blurb on Google says they have cask beer. Not even a cask line on the bar

What's not to like. Great bar with an original pub DNA, super friendly team and great selection of beers and drinks. Frequent destination for social and business chats. Some great draft beer. Ask the bar staff for help and advice. Hopefully cocktail bar above and super cool restaurant below will open up soon again - a real good total night out :)

Lovely bar in Soho/Chinatown area. Upstairs has a great vibe, more wine bar with quaint decor and cool background music, perfect for an evening away from the buzz where you can chat with our mates, partner or on your first date. Great service as well.

The environment is really cozy and let you feel relax very much. Staffs are very cheerful and friendly and a big range of drinks. However, price is really too expensive vs the volume. The glass of Rosa & wine is really too little based on price, never got a “glass” is they little 😅😅

A pub too busy on a Saturday with one server, voluptuos but unwilling to pull the London Black unless you are patient with the crowds spilling onto the side lane. Good smooth alternative to Guinness but lacking body. Other craft ales IPA beers on tap for GBP6.50.

I bought 4 bar snacks to share with a friend, at a cost of over £30. They were barely noticeable on a small platter that came to our table, which we assumed was just one of them, but were horrified to discover was all four! Total p*sstake.

The Blue Posts is a lovely place located in the heart of SOHO. I've been in this place plenty of times and it's always nice to be here an enjoy cocktails the vibe is always very cool.....a bit savage on Saturday and Friday nights but very quiet and relaxing in the afternoon. The place is very small so it's very hard to find sometimes a spot there. Cocktails are amazing (especially its Negroni is one of the best in the city), and it would be perfect for a pre or post-theatre drink

Nice pub close to Piccadilly Circus. Inside and outside seating. Variety of drinks and food too for a reasonable price. Good customer service.

Really nice crafted drinks served here, we ordered a lager and cider and they were both great. Quite a small pub, but friendly and a nice atmosphere. Prices were also very reasonable for central London.

Good old London bar. Enjoyed the Dennis Hopper IPA, wish I chosen the London Black though. Had a giant lamb sausage roll which was delicious. The staff very friendly. Good atmosphere and ideal to pop in before hitting the theatre.

I had Bloody Mary and Espresso Martini without too much expectation and they turned out to be exquisite, a pleasant surprise! 🥰

Great little pub friendly staff.

£14 for two 25ml shots of gin and tonics but you don’t keep the bottle of tonic.. we won’t be staying for another drink. Big glasses with lots of ice definitely needed

Wanted to close most unwelcoming

Used this pub prior to, and after, a nearby theatre show, the wine was excellent, chilled and in a spotless glass, none of these things are now that common in pubs, sadly enough. Thanks to the staff on the day (Saturday 30 July), best wishes x

I am puzzled by the person here who says that women should avoid this pub, she says that she was refused a drink. Myself and my husband used the bar before we went to see the fantastic Jerusalem at the nearby Apollo Theatre, the bar staff were polite and efficient, the wine I had was really great, superb wine, very cold, and in a spotless wine glass, so rare these days when its all dishwasher fluid stains and lipstick or chipped etc. My husband loved his Dennis Hopper beer, we would love to return to this small bar we loved its vibe and loved our drinks, so I can only say if the person who is negatively reviewing the pub was intoxicated, the bar staff were very correct in their not to serve a person who was inebriated. Thanks to the staff on the day (yesterday, Saturday) x

Great off the beaten track place in the hear of Central. Staff really great and such a cool place. Almost tempted to not review as don't want everyone to know about it. But that wouldn't be fair. I'll be back! 👍🏻

Ended up here on St Patrick's Day. Brilliant pub tucked away in a very busy area. Beautifully designed and great choice of beers.

Especially women should avoid this place at all costs! I've never felt more humiliated in my life before. The manager/bartender refused to serve me drinks which is quite understandable as they are legally allowed to do so. But I wasn't even tipsy so I asked him what made him think that I was drunk. He didn't give me an answer but he told my male friend who was tipsy at the moment that he had been doing his job long enough to understand if someone is drunk. Apparently not. I went up to the securities just to explain myself and ask whether they think I was drunk or not. They ended up apologising on the behalf of their manager. I completely understand that it is his duty to refuse to serve drinks sometimes. But there was no single person except the extremely rude manager who thought I ‘had enough to drink’. He didn't even let me speak while he was the one making the accusations. This is unjustifiable behaviour from a manager in hospitality, especially considering I was not creating any problem.

Really like this place - good atmosphere, good crowd, good beers. There's a wine bar upstairs that has a great menu and really nice staff that will help you out if you need it, but you will probably need to book. There's also a Michelin-starred restaurant downstairs, so the bar snacks, whilst being pricey, are absolutely delicious!

Wow in here now, professional barman. Real ale, bar snacks of venison sausage roll and chicken liver parfait- bit expensive?? No worth it I’d pay more in a restaurant. Pop in before the theatre for a drink and snack, olde worlde traditional bar.

Popped in for a quick pint and had a most enjoyable time. Bar staff were very friendly and great service. Lovely choice of ale bombardier or courage Directors. Went for the latter as I am an oldie and remember drinking many pints of this in my youth. Good prices and ale was well kept. Will be back for sure. Keep up the good work, lovely pub.

Great pub to watch the world pass by, if you like good independent beers some excellent choices. Keen staff, but much like the rest of London, dont expect masks. The security man from Lebanon was very pleasant, and good.

I haven't been here for almost a year and Simon remembered what my favourite beer was. How impressive! On top of that they are brilliant, kind and have a great range of beers. Is definitely a place you want to be visiting
