This was our 2nd year running having our works christmas lunch at the White Swan. Last year's meal was wonderful and glad to say this year lived up to our high expectations. The food was amazing and we were looked after by the wonderful Sarah and the whole team at the White Swan. If you're looking for fabulous service and gorgeous food in the heart of Covent Garden then look no further. Thanks again Sarah and the whole team, we had a wonderful time!!!

Absolute pub atmosphere. Full and loud 🤣 Wheat beer and Swedish cider at the start.

The first ad I made in 2019, so it has a special place in my heart! Ideally located in Covent Garden, it offers a wide choice of beers and typical dishes. The pie is obviously a must and your beer will definitely be a good choice. Very high in my favorite pubs in London!

Very average food. Ok beer selection, but some choices were out of stock when we were there. Upstairs dining room was nice, not noisy. Service was so-so, but maybe they’re just abit understaffed. Sausages in sausage and mash were burnt to bitterness on some parts. Steak and Ale pie had really dry and not tasty crust. Would not recommend.

We stumbled upon The White Swan in Covent Garden on a rough Sunday after some of our plans fell through, and it turned out to be the perfect spot for a classic Sunday roast. The food was excellent, and the service truly made our day. The bartender, Sarah, was outstanding—warm, personable, and attentive. She made us feel right at home, ensuring we had everything we needed and adding charm to our afternoon. Her friendly demeanor and excellent service turned what could have been a disappointing day into a memorable one. We’ll definitely be back, and we hope Sarah is there to greet us again!

This is a perfect spot for a quiet lunchtime get-together or a lively evening of live music or subscription channel sports. Our last visit was made extra special by the spectacular Sarah who was employed as a team member by another manager from another pub that saw her great potential and seen her rise through the ranks - no wonder - we could see it too - definitely a star (well 5 stars!). Thanks to Sarah and the team for a great experience.

Historic West End pub with young and friendly staff. Average prices and fast service. The fish & chips can be improved as can the choice of beers at dinner. However, recommended!

A real shame as its a nice pub but the Irish barmaid was awful, totally stressed out with just one customer waiting. I ordered a pint of Landlord, my wife enquired about a glass of fizz? "Prosecco that's it!" I enquired about food? "The menus there, can you just pay for your pint and come back" We ordered another drink and some nibbles, she told me the price then got stressed out because I was paying cash and she didn't seem to know how to cancel the card transaction she'd automatically put through... As I got the £47.25 out my pockets and put it close to her on the bar she barked at me "Put it in my hand not on the bar!" She continued to bark this instruction at me three times, while I was putting the rest of my cash in my pocket, at which I thought it was time I alerted her to the fact she was being very unhelpful and rude! She totally lost the plot and appeared to leave one of the £20 notes on the bar....so if your tills short it's the stressed out Irish barmaid who isn't suited to front of house at all....she'd be better off cleaning! Awful service...worst we've ever had EVER!! Anyway we went to the supermarket lively interesting Cross Keys pub in Covent Garden next which had excellent service!

We stumbled upon The White Swan in Covent Garden, and it was an absolute gem! The bar area was buzzing with a great vibe, and the staff were fantastic, especially Reshma. She was super friendly and knew her stuff, making great recommendations and ensuring we had everything we needed.The cask ale selection was impressive, with the Nicholson Pale Ale being a highlight. It was so good that we ended up having a few pints. The food was also delicious, with a variety of options to suit all tastes. The atmosphere upstairs was lovely, with a nice balance of old and new decor.If you're looking for a great spot to grab a drink and a meal, The White Swan is definitely worth a visit.

Good pub in central London but be aware the toilets are 2 flights of stairs away and if you’re over 6ft (which I’m sure you are) duck when entering the men’s toilet

Wir waren spontan mit den Kindern (10&13) zum Abendessen dort. Wir hatten einen langen Tag mit viel Sightseeing hinter uns. Aber Sarah hat uns direkt so herzlich willkommen geheißen und mit Späßen aufgemuntert, dass es ein entspannter Abschluss eines aufregenden Tages wurde. Wir wurde zum Essen nach oben gebeten, unten ist es ein Pup ohne essen. Aber auch im Restaurant war es sehr angenehm und typisch englisch - soweit ich das beurteilen kann. Der Laden war jedenfalls bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt - meist mit Reservierung. Das Essen war sehr lecker, die Biere auch, die Atmosphäre locker und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis einwandfrei.

Usually stop by when I'm in town but came with the family this time Had a great lunch in the dining room, Served by a Lithuanian fella who's name I didn't catch but I've seen him on the bar before Fish and chips was absolutely spot on, and they accommodated our young baby as well with a high chair First time in the dining room but sorted us right out

Stay away from this place. Poor service, expensive drinks. Ask about the price of drinks before ordering, we forgot to ask. Each drink cost £18 🤬😡 Never coming back

I had to arrange a last-minute Sunday lunch for colleagues and our CEO visiting from overseas, and the White Swan team was exceptionally responsive. It was crucial that the lunch set the right tone, and I'm immensely grateful for the effort made to accommodate us as a large group with just a couple of days notice. Everything ran smoothly—both service and food were excellent. I wholeheartedly recommend this venue! The pub is charming, larger than it appears online, with two spacious levels, including upper-level seating. A fantastic spot in Covent Garden—looking forward to my next visit!

Came here on a busy Sunday afternoon with our toddler. Great vibe and very accommodating. We enjoyed fish and chips, soup of the day, and our daughter loved the Mac n cheese. Our server, Maria, was kind and efficient. Highly recommend.

Wonderful pub in the center of London, Covent Garden. The atmosphere is really intimate with smooth lighting and the music choice is really good. We took hamburgers, tomato soup, beef pie and a lovely apple & blackberry crumble. The food was really delicious, certainly one of the best pies I've eaten in London. And burgers were great too! We had also great beers and a very good Apple Cider! Special thanks to Sarah, it's wonderful to see someone who puts so much love and passion into her job, always smiling and welcoming.

The bar staff were the best, very accommodating when I requested a change in sports channel so that I could watch my beloved football team play. Whilst enjoying tasty food, filled chips, pardon peppers, and tasty fish coujons.

The food was great. The server was scared of a table of eight. She was very nice and did a great job. A little coaching and she would be even better. Three croquettes is not enough to share. Not sure why restaurants are making appetizers so small you can't share them. The building is old and slanted. It's cool. Be careful. Decor is great.

It's a nice pub, Not too expensive for the location. I had Sausage and mash and got 3 sausages with watery mash and gravy. That's it. No veg or anything. The sausages were nice, though

It's my favourite pub in London. Everytime I visit the city, I make sure to drop by. I absolutely love and recommend the pies! The space is also lovely. The upstairs dining room is very calm and well decorated.

Came here for lunch with my husband. This pub is very cute and traditional British pub. Great atmosphere and the customers service is high level. Sai the bartender served us with a big smile and a lot of knowledge of the menu

Great little local pub in covent garden. Very chill vibe with a sizeable cask ale and beer selection. They also have a nice dinner menu. I of course had to try the fish& chips, which hit the spot and made for a perfect summer evening in London. Barkeep was lovely and prices were in range.

Visited this little gem with family along in June. Freddie - one of the staff, looked after me with my family during the football - he could see we were a bit jammed, and gave us the tip another group was moving - so we got to a better spot, and the family got to experience the game in a good atmosphere. Back in August on a business trip, came straight here on my own - and Freddie was there again! I mentioned why I came back, and Freddie described where we sat - he remembered us!! Well done - great local pub feel, surrounded by lots of less personal places!

Nice pub with a vibrant, yet pleasant atmosphere. Lots of younger folks. We liked our drinks, the food was good and the service (our waitress' name was Saishri) was very friendly and attentive. This pub had been recommended to us by a friend and we'll try to come again on our next visit to London.

This place was recommended by a friend.The service was generally nice. I enjoyed some bites along with my drinks, to keep myself from getting drunk. The staff was happy to indulge in conversation. I particularly enjoyed talking to the waitress who is pursuing music, while working there (I think her name was Sai). I wish her luck. I would definitely like to visit again. I went during the quite times, I am not sure if the service would be the same during busy times.

Very poor staff This is not a premium pub but charging premium prices.Staff were dressed in beachwear which I don't think is appropriate.

Played on a technicality that didn't exist when serving the plant based burger and refused to provide chips without charging extra, contradicting their own menu. Overall poor. Edit: On my previous post I can see they responded suggesting that they will make this clearer to future customers which I think is a good start. Just to clarify, the menu didn't state clearly that the plant based burger won't have chips - considering the text above on the left says all burgers are served with chips unless otherwise stated and saying that it comes with a house salad doesn't constitute saying "otherwise" and doesn't equate saying it doesn't come with chips - it's just not clear at all. If I'm spending £17 on a burger when the meat options are the same price as the plant burger but they receive chips with them, I would expect to receive the same chips (and if the chips aren't vegan but I chose to swap them anyway, that should also be an option). I think it is good that this is to be clarified when ordering, but the salad should be exchangeable with chips on request even if it isn't vegan considering the price of the burger is the same as the meat options. I also think from a customer service perspective it felt like poor hospitality considering how much money I had spent on drinks prior to ordering the burger.

Friendly boozer just away from the hustle and bustle of Covent Garden, and a 5 mins walk from theatre-land. Decent selection of ales and lagers. Air con, which was pleasant on a muggy hot day!

Very cozy place with very nice staff. The girl who took our order gave us very good advice on what to eat and drink. We also informed him of an allergy to nuts and he told us very well what he could take and what he couldn't. All the dishes we ordered were delicious. Highly recommended.

Popped in for a last couple of drinks and stayed longer. Emily and Vince were great servers and an absolute delight. Good range of drinks and had decent music playing. We may even of had a little dance! Will be back.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE!! My partner was robbed here a few nights ago and they didn’t want to know anything about it when we asked for help. A lady called Sarah who worked there was rude and obnoxious to us when we approached the situation. I will never ever go back to this establishment again and I suggest you do the same if you like your valuables kept safe. This place is a disgrace to the company that runs it and the staff are just as bad in respect and attitude. ………………………………………………………………. Ok so just clarifying we were robbed at the end of the night not during the day and it was in your pub and not outside your establishment. Nobody was around us all night as we stood at the back of the bar for our drinks. She had her phone and Filofax with all her cards in it. So basically you are lying to looking at the cctv. You are basically covering something up for something you don’t want knowing anyone about. Again a message to the public if you don’t want your things stolen then do not go here and avoid with extreme caution as you will not get any help and just moved on like we were.

Quite honestly, it was the staff. I was arranging post drinks for an away day and ALL the staff could not have been nicer, more accommodating or more welcoming. I don't know who does the hiring/training but they know what they are doing

Took a chance to watch the England match before watching a West End show we had pre booked. Initially there was standing room only and we have two kids with us and so we decided not to stay as it would be too squashy for them. The staff were so incredibly kind and called us in as a table hadn’t turned up. They didn’t have to do that and the staff were so kind on such a busy evening.

Went during quiet time for lunch, barkeeps were the right amount of chatty, food was good and plenty. Great location just a few blocks from touristy areas, yet felt like your friendly neighborhood public house.

Another top visit! This time for the football. Watched The Portugal game, always a reliable venue for atmosphere even earlier in the week. Had a nice sports menu out so I tried the sliders, first time. Didn't disappoint. Also noticed they had Paulaner on tap on this visit so will be back for that

Julia was very welcoming and accommodated all of our needs. We had breakfast and dinner at the White Swan and the quality was amazing. The bar was also provides nonalcoholic drinks. We had a lovely time at the White Swan and hope to visit again.

Went here Thursday 20th June after Mamma Mia show. We heard live music, which drew us in, wow amazing guy, Scottish. Then someone called Lewis we were told, him and his wife from Alaska, bought everyone a drink in the pub, amazing. HEY JUDE, last song. Brilliant night for my Birthday weekend x
