The best restaurants serving British food in Bexley London

Food is great and prices good. Staff are nice as well. Fried bread not so good but they do stuffed hearts which is rare but I have not tried them.

Came here after noticing it when passing by. We ordered at the till and the service was good. The breakfast came up pretty swiftly and tasted really nice. The coffee was good too

My friend and I recently visited Walnuts cafe and had an experience that left us feeling disappointed and uncomfortable. When we placed our order, the person taking orders had a language barrier. To ensure she understood, we repeated our order twice. However, when the food arrived, it still wasn’t correct and needed to be adjusted. Later, when we asked for the bill, I noticed I was charged full price for a dish I had chosen from the kids’ menu. Still, I was willing to pay without any issue. The manager came over, and I explained what had happened. As an apology, she removed an item from the bill. However, when she returned with the revised bill, she made a comment that left me shaken. She pointed out that she remembered me from a previous visit, saying, “You sat at table 19 last time, and you had a problem with the bill then. I remember this vividly because I dealt with you.” Her tone made me feel as though she was implying we were trying to get out of paying. I felt uncomfortable and almost embarrassed, as if we were being seen as “cheap.” To make matters worse, she added, “Next time when you come, please place your order clearly .” Begin a regular customers this experience left a very negative impression. We felt we were treated as if we were at fault when we had been understanding throughout. Needless to say, we don’t plan on returning to this cafe again.

The menu choice is always good and the standard excellent and our visit this time met all our expectations!

Nice traditional pub and a great place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Broadway, however.: - There's a large banner outside that states, "Children Welcome" - so I was a little surprised when they turned myself and my daughter away.

Horrific customer service, they only just opened and told me that they had “ran out of rolls” I then sourced a fresh buttered roll from a local shop headed back only to me told that it was a £5 minimum card spend! £3.40 for a small chips which is well over priced compared to other chip shops in the area Over all OVERPRICED with APPAULING customer service I would not be heading here in a hurry

Brilliant evening good food and an excellent night as there was a Halloween quiz night on, run by james and Robyn had 18 teams it was such good fun.

Had a wonderful breakfast here today. Food was delicious and hot. Couldn’t eat it all as there was so much so ended up bringing some sausages home for later. Staff were great very attentive and made sure we had all we needed. Definitely coming back x

I have eaten here many times and I have to say that was the best meal I have ever had here. It was hot, edible and showed there is someone who can cook in this place. Well done Josephine long may you stay as chef, then I will come back.
