Super food a wide choice and great staff 😊

The reception on arrival was warm & very welcoming. The service was spot on, time to settle, order drinks & then choosing/ordering food. The carvery was the best I have experienced in a long time. Good choice of meats(3), with Salmon/Veggie alternative. The vegetables were very good &, surprisingly the roast potatoes that most Sunday lunch offerings always get wrong. Starter choices were good & I would highly recommend the squid. Choice of sweets was decent, although the first two courses were more than enough for me. Only downside was that the ale was limited to bottles of Doombar.

Came to get a take away from here got home with the food wouldn’t be coming back due to the liquor tasted of flour the colour was white where it is meant to be green colour pies tasted like they was dipped in flour not very good experience and great quality of food.

I dined here whilst staying at the Holiday Inn in Orpington on business The restaurant is located in the hotel and doubles as a bar . You order at the bar and identify where you are seated for service There was plenty of space to seat and my two courses where very tasty and delicious I ordered chicken liver pate and brioche toast with an accompaniment of onion chutney- it was delicious! My main of black and blue burger was also delicious as the blue cheese really lifted the taste An excellent example of how bar food should be delivered, an extremely pleasant surprise

I booked heathview restaurant as part of my hubby birthday celebrations, from my email booking enquiry to end of yesterday evening, the service from all the staff exceptional, a credit to Crayford, we were seated at table overlooking finish line, great view, 3 course meal very good with plenty choices to choose on each course, staff come round to take your bets to, we had an enjoyable evening and thank you to Joseph our waiter , and again to all the staff

Had to essentially ask to be served despite it not being busy at all….asked if I could have crusty bread was available, was told it was, but was just regular bread…and whilst I went “off menu”, what was basically a “brunch grill” anywhere else at most cafes, was charged at nearly £15 with the 2 slices and a couple of cans of soda……with a full charge for chips, but receiving just a handful…..and clearly the term “very well done bacon” was not a concept the server was used to…..very disappointed…won’t be back.

When this Fish & Chip shop reopened about 2 years ago under new management, freshly revamped & called Hooked it all looked very promising ! The shop was clean & inviting & the cod & chips here were nice, not wonderful but miles better than the old Fish & Chip shop Sea Lion which was awful. Now I'm sorry to say it has deteriorated badly. I went in tonight just for beef & onion pie & chips and the place is dirty looking counters and the meat on the donar kebab spike looked disgusting like it had been there all week ! The pie was ok but you can't really ruin that as it's just heated in its pack, however the chips were horrible greasy and overcooked !! What has gone on here ! Such a shame as it's my local but I won't come here again ! Broadway Fish & Chip ShopBexleyheath by far & away best fish & chip shop in area, lovely tasting cod & chips, further for me but well worth it !

Came here for a takeaway after hearing the place was under new management, so wanted to give it a try. The fish and chips was really nice, the batter was nice and thin and tasted relatively healthy. I would like to come back

Absolutely great food, I loved the panini I got. It was very cheesy and hot, just how I like it! The staff work hard and are pleasant to be around

Friendly staff and excellent value

Went to the Mulberry restaurant today as visited before and it was lovely. But was very disappointed today, was told we would have half hour wait for food, which is fine but that turned into a hour. Had to wait 40 mins for a drink even though had asked twice. My drink then turned up and looked like it had split. My mum ordered off the gluten free menu and the food was dry and sandwich barely had any filling. I ordered a jacket potato of the vegan menu due to having a diary allergy and my jacket came with dairy cheese on so couldn’t eat it, The potato was stone cold too! I’m not sure if it’s changed hands but when we came two years ago there was so many more options it was so lovely. The menu also had Christmas menu wrote on the front and there was no festive options. I hope that it goes back to the way it was as it used to be so lovely.

Not bad,not the best but definitely not the worst.

Back after quite a while.. car park half full on Sunday at 12.30 normally full.... Drying meats ..the lamb was appalling and looked like it was a dried out bone.. beef overcooked ..monster tasteless Yorkshire preventing veg space..cauliflower cheese had no sauce sprouts overcooked roast potatoes inconsistent bowl batches.. Why does Toby not offer shoulder of Pork not leg..Would create a new reputation.. The more mature waitresses bang on it..the younger ones dreamy not paying attention.. Sticky toffee pudding the worst ever no toffee sauce floating in a sea of custard.. This Carvery is currently poorly managed with no care for attention to detail..

Disgusting service all evening, from being told what we could order on menu to then being told we shouldn’t have ordered a kids meal (option what we wanted wasn’t on adults section) waiter was fine to take order, then manager come over and was out of line and told us not to come out if we couldn’t afford an adults meal. To then wanting to pay separately which we had done on 4/5 previous rounds of ordering drinks, manager attended our table again being rude and aggressive telling us we was causing issues and he doesn’t believe in customer is always right. We decided to leave not long after, As we left we was greeted with the manager and a sarcastic comment which in response I bit back and then I was personally verbally attack on my appearance as leaving, F*ck off you f*cking fatty” Managers words. I shouldn’t of bit but to be attacked on my appearance was a whole new level!!

Although it’s a hotel restaurant the food is good and the service excellent. It’s always fresh and hot with plenty of choice and fair sized portions.
