Brewers Fayre in Bexley

I have eaten here many times and I have to say that was the best meal I have ever had here. It was hot, edible and showed there is someone who can cook in this place. Well done Josephine long may you stay as chef, then I will come back.

The staff, especially Lesley was amazing, perfect breakfast served with a smile and a laugh. Exactly what you want to wake up to.

No food. No staff. No cups, plates. need I say more. They run out of eggs and had to go to shop. No yoghurts, empty serving trays everywhere. some people just walked out. Others were demanding their money back. This is the second time we have been and both times gave been awful. Never again.n

We were warmly greeted by LaDonna. We were familiar with the menu having visited Beefeater before. We were not disappointed with our food. La Donna served our food, and mixed our cocktails - service with a smile. Despite a queue building up behind us LaDonna didn't rush us. Thank you LaDonna. Highly recommended 😊

run out of food slow to top up. no apologies. awful experience. First they run out if eggs and beans, then when they eventually topped them up, there was no sausages. Then there was no coffee or crosssients. everyone was complaining.

We were given a lovely welcome by Charlotte who also took our order without fuss. Lesley served our meals with a cheery smile, and checked we had everything like sauces etc we needed. My curry and my husband's sausage and mash were served quickly and were both delicious. As we ordered from the Value Meal menu our lunch was very good value for money and the restaurant itself was very a comfortable place to spend our lunchtime.

I've stayed at the Bexleyheath Premier Inn three times in the last two years, while over from Cape Town on visits to see my ageing (now deceased) mother and I cannot speak to highly of the staff and food at this restaurant. I see Lesley mentioned many times below, and totally agree with the great comments she gets (having a slight Yorkshire background myself, we connected straight away) but I'd be very remiss if I didn't mention Zara (and daughter Sofia), Victoria, La Donna (not immobile), Charlotte, Tommy and Jordi and quite a few others, who were great. They have to deal with a very full restaurant at times, as the place is very popular - and quite rightly too - with lots of locals in addition to an often pretty full hotel, They are all very pleasant, with excellent attitudes, even if some of those customers can lack a bit of culture and might test the patience of a saint. As far as the food is concerned, it is really really good, and I take my hat off to the chef(s) who produce the standard BF menu very nicely and very quickly. The servings are enormous, the food is great, and the prices are incredibly competitive (which is presumably why there's such a lot of local people eating there). If I wanted to give my top marks to a dish that I eat regularly, it would be the Hake and chips. As a lover of the Wetherby Whaler in Guiseley, which is the site of the original and late lamented Harry Ramsden's restaurant all I can say is that the dish in BF's is of a par with the quality up North (both past and present) which for me is the highest praise I can give, and an indication of the standard you'll find in the Bexleyheath restaurant. For the price you pay (although some of that might be in your waistline) the eat-as-much-as-you-like breakfast is amazing, too. So, all-in-all, the BF at Bexleyheath is outstanding and while I don't expect to be in the town again, I will always remember the wonderful treatment, both personally and gastronomically, that I received there (and at the hotel itself). Well done, team!!

Great food, service excellent, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, good value. Also big thank you for generous donations to our dog rescue organisation. . .nothing goes to waste there! A great local restaurant for all the family. Will return!

We have stayed overnight at this Premier Inn in Bexleyheath on a few occasions. Apart from it being very convenient, clean and good value the breakfast buffet at the Brewers Fayre is enjoyable and has plenty of choice. Lesley was very helpful, friendly with the children and hands on with whatever we needed and keeping the restaurant tidy.

Great breakfast. Super staff. They fixed our group of 21 a to-go breakfast when we had a super early flight! Thank you, Victoria! It was perfect!

A pretty hefty drama kicked off at the bar with some unruley customers who were threatening and volatile. The staff were amazing, handled the situation were grace and finesse, and afterwards they went out of their way to ask all the customers in the area the incident happened if they were all OK and apologized on the customers behalf, even though they themselves had nothing to apologize for. Brilliant professionalism. Breakfast was tasty too!

This spot was amazing, wonderful staff including one amazing woman,Lesley. She helped me and my friend as it was indeed our first time, and you shall be expecting us back again!!

We are thankful to Lesley for organising the english breakfast. Food was lovely, the buffet was full, we didn't wait at all, we enjoyed coffee at the end.

I visit this establishment often and never had an issue. You get what you would expect - Amazing breakfast buffet! Hearty full English breakfast has been thoroughly enjoyed by our group of 11. Freshly cooked food was re-stocked swiftly. Staff was very welcoming and attentive.

I am disappointed with the service and breakfast offerings experienced during my recent visit here. Upon arriving for breakfast at 9:45 am, within the stipulated breakfast hours until 10:30 am, we encountered numerous disappointments which ruined our breakfast experience. Despite having made a prior booking earlier in the day, it appeared that the staff were unprepared for our arrival. Firstly, there was a lack of essential dining utensils such as plates for hot food and cereal bowls. Despite requesting these basic items, it was disconcerting to witness them being brought out one by one. Additionally, the absence of spoons in the cereal area necessitated another request for basic cutlery. Furthermore, the limited beverage options, with no availability of orange or apple juice and only squash provided, fell short of expectations. Additionally, the unavailability of muffins, croissants, pastries, nothing there despite being part of the advertised full breakfast offering was particularly disappointing. Moreover, the erratic replenishment of items in the hot food section was a cause for concern. It was observed that apart from sausages and bacon, other items such as eggs, mushrooms were being restocked one by one after long gaps, resulting in a disjointed experience. The baked beans were served cold. It is particularly disheartening to note the justification provided regarding the unavailability of certain items due to a prior large booking they had earlier. As a paying customer, it is reasonable to expect that reservations are honoured and that adequate provisions are made to accommodate all guests. In conclusion, the subpar service and inadequacies in breakfast provision during my recent visit were wholly unsatisfactory.

Staying here on business for a couple of nights. LaDonna has been wonderful, she is so professional, helpful and has a wonderful calming manner. I hope she is a very valued member of staff, it is people like LaDonna that keep you coming back. Great stay, made everything easy, food and drink selection are good, service is excellent, will definitely be coming here again.

I booked a table in advance for six adults and 3 children. We were greeted well and shown to our table. We were not told that drinks and food should be ordered at the bar. One child and one adult have allergies, and this was adequately dealt with when ordering our food. Our meals arrived on an ad hoc basis. It's very difficult to explain to a 6, 4 and 2 year old that their food would be soon. We waited 40 minutes after ordering before the first meal was served! The last plate of food came 1 hour after placing our order. Needless to say, some of the party had virtually finished by this point. The restaurant was not busy by any means. Sometimes, there were no staff to be found anywhere to complain to. Suffice to say neither me or any of my family will not be returning to this establishment, nor any other Brewers Fayre restaurant.

Spot on for breakfast! Few bits not ready but staff member Lesley made sure she brought everything we needed over to our table. Nothing was too much trouble. Went to get coffees and machine had run out of milk, let her know and she instantly sorted it out. Very friendly, professional and had such a lovely way with customers. Nothing was too much trouble. Came in for breakfast today with friends. Absolutely brilliant service! The girls working were soo friendly and approachable. Lesley and Charlotte couldn't do enough for us. The manager Emma came through and checked on us. Really lovely lady. Everyone smiling and enjoying their work. The food was spot on and well worth the price as it was unlimited! Breakfast team were amazing, food was great. (Only thing I'd change is the sausages to Richmond meatfree) As a vegan I don't often expect the selection there was, very impressed. The children loved the selection of food and they ate for free! Would recommend 100%
