Beautifully designed pub, amazingly friendly staff and generous portions. (Including the biggest babyccino I’ve ever seen!) A great place for family lunches that won’t break the bank. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time with our little daughter at the Nags Head. Arthur and the team was very welcoming and super nice. The food arrived quickly, was lovely, hot and fresh. Definitely a great experience and would recommend if you are in welling. The pub is newly renovated and looks very smart. Also has a nice outdoor area and parking!

I’d like to thank Artur, Morgan and the entire team at The Nags for putting on a fantastic evening for me to celebrate my 50th Birthday. Nothing was too much trouble from start to finish. The food was amazing and everyone had such a great time. I had approx 50 guests and we were given our own section, so I was able to decorate the area and I also added my cake to the buffet table. I’d highly recommend anyone wanting to arrange a special celebration…..with the added bonus of a DJ on Friday and Saturday nights too. Thank you all so much. x

Cracking pub in Welling. Ideal for a few pints before football or a meal out with the family. Plenty of seats and screens to watch sports. Outside seating is great too and so much space. Good selection of beers too. Arthur and staff are great and service spot on.

Popped in for some drinks with some pals after hearing it had been done up since my youth. Great service, shoutout to Arthur and his team. Solid garden as well, good for the weather.

We stopped by as a family group of 7 plus our dog - parking easy - put details in ipad on the bar; easy to order food and drink on the Greene King app and all brought to the table in a friendly and timely manner plus all good and tasty. Important to us is our dog being part of things - she was also made to feel welcome and we were able to order her food which came in a little bowl and there was a hydration station for her.

We can’t thank Artur and his amazing team enough!! They couldn’t do enough for us today when we’re there for a wake so professional and loving and understanding towards us. This will always be our favourite local pub!! Thank you all so much!! ❤️

This was a birthday treat from my wife. Cannot fault the service, food was excellent, hot and the cost of the meal was fair. This was the first time I had been there, but would recommend, will definately go there again.

We were instantly welcomed by the bar staff who is so friendly and welcoming. My fave beer on tap so I was very pleased. Food came out really quickly, hot and great portions for lunch. The refurb is lovely, we chanced it in the garden in the sun and we're really comfortable, we will be back soon!

After the disappointment of a sister pub cancelling our Mother’s Day booking the day before by email Sophie @the Nags head called me back with a cancellation within a few hours and Morgan on the day was amazing as it was also a family birthday celebration. One of our favourite locals with fantastic service 🫶

Absolutely fantastic evening tonight , mixture of dishes which came hot and absolutely delicious in good time. Drinks after were to die for including French martinis freshly made and lovely. Reasonably priced. Brilliant friendly staff. Lovely to have on our doorstep.

I didn’t eat this time, but I have in the past and is usually generally good. Usually a great atmosphere and good screens to watch sport and they have a nice garden too for the summer

By FAR one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Bacon and blue with a fried egg. There was a little hiccup with the orders, my mums order was accidentally missed off, but that was rectified very very quickly. Service i don't think I've seen elsewhere. You're usually waiting after everyone else has finished. She had the Katsu Chicken curry and said it was the best she'd had too.

A local pub to me, I often pop in for a drink as always made to feel very welcome. I’ve had lunch with friends and dinner with my husband and food is amazing at great value

Great works lunch, lovely food, large selection to choose from, value for money, a good selection of drinks. Staff very accomadating. There is a lovely garden out back for rain or shine.

Had an amazing time at The Nags Head for my birthday! We booked a private space in the Welling Corner, and everything was perfect. The food was delicious, the service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive all night. The atmosphere was great, and having the football on made it even better. It’s a proper local pub with a great vibe—would definitely recommend for any occasion.

Nags Head has a varied menu at a good price. The staff are very nice and go out of their way to please everyone, even if it is sometimes very crowded. We were lucky enough to be there once when a live band was playing. The atmosphere was great! Keep up the good work, we'd love to come back 😊.

If i had to use one word to describe this little pub in welling it has to be the word amazing. I have been to tons and tons of pubs in my time. I never shy from a pint of guiness with a burger. And let me tell you they had all that in store and more. The moment i stepped in i was welcomed with this modern gastro pub asthetic, which set the tone for my whole visit. The stuff was extremely friendly and informative. The seats were comfortable and clean. The food were actually REASONABLY PRICED and extremely hot and and delicious. Again amazing ! This pub is a must visit if you feel like a good pint and warm food. Ig you are looking for a spot to watch the Six nations, or the premier league this is your spot. THIS IS WHERE YOU NEED TO GO !

The night ended awfully. I came here for my friends birthday who just turned 18, we were having a good time until we went to the toilet, my friend asked me to help her zip her top up so initially we took a bit longer in the toilet. One of the staff members burst into the toilet abruptly and said “we know what you are doing in here and if you carry on you will get kicked out” so me and my friend were very confused as to what has happened. We leave the toilet and she says that we were in there for 5 minutes, as if it is anyone concern as to how long a person can spend in the toilet, what if i had a medical condition? After a while i go back into the toilet and as i’m washing my hands the women who was working there comes back in and asks if anything alright, she was speaking in a very agressive manner, as i was about to leave my friend comes in the toilet because she didn’t know where i was and wanted to see if i’m okay. The security man bursts into the women toilets and tells us that he needs to speak to us and that the women working there accused us of doing drugs and other activities in the toilet (my friend has a boyfriend). Soon eniugh the security becomes very agressive and agitated and accuses me of being very agressive when in fact all i had said to him was “i can show you what is in my bag i have no issue in doinf so” and then he accuses me of being very agressive and demanding. Furhuremore, as we were trying to sort out the situation and u sweat and the situation he continuously raising his voice at us and started to abuse his authority by claiming i was shouting at him when in fact my words were “i understand that you are security and that the issue was reported to toh however i told you you can look through my bag, i have nothing to hide” and i was q accused of being rude when he was speaking ober me and didn’t let me get a word in. The night ended horribly and i would not recvomend going here, there are many other pubs which i can garantee are much better than this so please stay away if you have the chance.

Took the family out for a meal today to nags head welling there was 9 of us and I can’t express how lovely everything was from the food to the service to the atmosphere honestly the experience we had was the best well done guys we definitely will be back

The pub has recently had a makeover and it’s really lovely, comfortable and spacious. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is very tasty.

A very nice and pleasant place to meet with friends, where you can eat and drink. Artur really puts in a lot of effort and cares about each customer! I highly recommend this place.

The Nags Head offers a comfortable relaxing atmosphere. The refurbishment is amazing. I had lunch with my daughter and the food and service was great. Staff are friendly and welcoming. A special mention to Gerry who is amazing and has a very friendly personality, makes you feel welcome, always greeted with a smile. Definitely will return.

Visited for a simple family lunch/catch up (party of 9 people) The pub has a nice atmosphere, all staff are very friendly and food service was prompt. We mostly ordered the roast both meat and veggie and the food was overall fairly good. Portions were a little inconsistent and the cauliflower cheese was a tiny portion with no real cheese sauce. A few of the party ordered dessert and these seemed to be very good as was the coffee. Overall the meal was good value and the experience was enjoyable and relaxed.

A friendly and welcoming team, who looked after us well on the occasion of my mother-in-laws 81st birthday. The food was excellent and the drinks were good, as well as reasonably priced.

We went in for a few on a Friday night and had a really good and funny night.

The sunday roast was tasty and fresh. And atmosphere was not very noisy.

As a family of 6 we had Christmas Day dinner at the recently refurbished Nags Head. The food was excellent, plenty to eat, well presented, tasty and very reasonably priced for a 4 course meal. The drinks were normal pub prices. The staff were really friendly, attentive and helpful. We all enjoyed it and look forward to returning next Christmas.

An amazing time good DJ and good service

Nice pub, good drinks and atmosphere, went on a Monday lunch time nice and calm,sat on a raised platform area, nice spot, would return.

The Nags Head in Welling is a refined elegant establishment. The quality of food had myself and partner drooling at the mouth, ready to stuff our faces like it was the last meal we would ever eat! The bar staff were tremendous in advising me with what is the best dishes, whilst having a good old jolly laugh with their banter. Furthermore, the variation in beers on tap is amazing compared to a majority of pubs in the area! My partner had a Cruzcampo which was absolutely delicious according to him, however my pint of Guinness was one of the creamiest Irish Brews I’ve ever experienced. I’m very happy with my overall time spent this evening in the Nags Head. I will definitely make a return with friends and family to share the brilliance of this gem of Welling!

We had a wonderful experience at The Nags ahead in Welling for Christmas lunch, we were a party of 10. The atmosphere was warm and festive and the staff made sure everything was perfect. Our waiter was particularly attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious, Turkey was tender and the veggie meals came with the requested additions. Overall, a very enjoyable and memorable Christmas Lunch. We will book again next year..

Today had Turkey tradition meal at the Nags Head. We ordered drinks from a friendly, cheerful young lady. She wasn't sure about what we wanted (port and lemon) so was happy for us to tell her what it was and how to make it. Then joined in with our amusement over why we wanted it. We were shown to our pre booked seat, and did not feel hurried in any way to start our meal. Starters were very tasty, especially the mushrooms, and was a good sized portion. Christmas dinner was well cooked and presented. Again, very generous portions. We love the new decor, especially the 'nags' heads on outside of the building. The refurbishment definitely an improvement Staff were very attentive, chatty and friendly. We will definitely recommend 'the Nags'. Thank you for a lovely afternoon
