Heathview Restaurant at Crayford Greyhound Track in Bexley

I booked heathview restaurant as part of my hubby birthday celebrations, from my email booking enquiry to end of yesterday evening, the service from all the staff exceptional, a credit to Crayford, we were seated at table overlooking finish line, great view, 3 course meal very good with plenty choices to choose on each course, staff come round to take your bets to, we had an enjoyable evening and thank you to Joseph our waiter , and again to all the staff

Good night out on the festive menu. Staff worked hard to make sure we enjoyed our evening. Very busy. I chose Steak (which was beautiful and cooked to perfection), seafood platter and Christmas pudding. Others in my party had the Turkey dinner which they thought was a bit poor. They did run out of profiteroles so we had to have Christmas pudding instead, which I enjoyed. Drinks service was bit haphazard but the restaurant was packed to the rafters good ambience and good value for money.

Good night out at the dogs and the restaurant. Food pretty decent, lots of choice and quick service. Drinks waitress very helpful and obliging and a god drinks selection.

Had a good time at the dogs. The food was average. The vegetables could have been hotter but the lamb shank was lovely. Had cheese board instead of sweet and it was rather dry .celery didnt look very fresh or the grapes.

My boyfriend and I had a great evening here yet again. Never fails to impress us with great food, lovely staff and have the occasional bet throughout the evening. Our waitress this evening was Tracy and she was fantastic; friendly, our food order was correct and checked on us regularly to make sure if we needed more drinks etc. We love it here and will be returning very soon!

Four of us went on a Tuesday night and really enjoyed ourselves. We ate in the restaurant upstairs on a table overlooking the finish line on the track. The food and service was all good with decent beer and wines. Ladies come to the tables and take your bets before each of the twelve races. Not our first time and we'll be back again soon.

Fabulous night out well worth every penny. Food was lovely. Great service by Leanne could not have been any better a really lovely young lady Thank you also to the young Gentleman that helped my father as he was disabled he did a brilliant job THANK YOU THANK TO ALL THE STAFF

A fun night out, with good food, and attentive food / drink / betting service at the table. Look forward to returning, especially as ended the night in profit!

24 tables were filled for people including many children supporting 11year old Sophie Powell's charity events. The food was excellent as were the staff. We are hoping to make this an annual event and everybody we have spoken to said that they had a great time.

This place has really upped it's game - the last time we visited it was appalling to say the very least! But we visited in June and had a fantastic time. The food was absolutely wonderful - the staff were really friendly and helpful and the whole evening was a great success. The menu is great and we all ordered different things and each one was as good as the other! Would recommend for a great night out!

We were a party of eight friends having a night out together at the dog track. Our restaurant table position was excellent with a great view over the finish line of the track. The food was disappointing for the money (£30 per head excluding drinks). It was quite standard pub quality food (not Gastro pub quality). A good deal of it must have been freezer to oven and clearly wasn't freshly prepared. That said, the service was good and the fact we could place our bets easily from the table was excellent. Overall it was a really fun night out but worked out very expensive. I wouldn't repeat it in a hurry.

Came for a birthday. Been before and enjoyed it. More choices than before including lots of veggie options. Lovely veg spring rolls and kiev. Great pork belly, lasagne. Almost too much food. Removed red opinion as requested. Only shame is they pack the tables together near the front so need others to get out when leaving the table.

We hired the Brinton Arrow Suite and had a hot buffet for 30 friends and family. The price included the hire, buffet and sponsorship of a greyhound race as well as admission. The buffet and service was exceptional and extremely good value for money. We had a great night, wining dining and watching the greyhounds

Came for 65th birthday meal. Seated quick and served quickly throughout evening. Both staff that took orders and bets were fun and great. However some of the servers were a little bit grumpy. Food was variable with a good veg pasta bake and tuna steak plus all potatoes were cooked well but the lamb was not a shank and some of the quality of others were not as good as before. Drink selection has improved with tribute bottles but still no cask ale. Odds and percentage taken by tote is very uncompetitive compared to the track bookies. Generally though a good night but some extra touches needed to improve.

Went with friends, had a three course meal followed by coffee which was served by friendly staff, food was piping hot, bar and tote service at the table. We all had a great evening and will be going back soon.

Ir a los galgos para salir por la noche, una buena comida, bebida y diversión es lo que teníamos el sábado por la noche. El precio era muy razonable para lo que te dan y la comida era muy agradable. El servicio era rápido y el personal era amable. Todo el mundo de nuestro grupo nos dijo que era una gran noche. no es una queja individual sobre la buena comida (que es poco frecuente). El único inconveniente fue que no me volver ganadores suficientes así que sin duda volveremos a Bash los bookies!

La comida no era muy buena. Tuve la lubina, que llegó en aceite. Se suponía que tienen las verduras estacional pero todo lo que tenía era algo lechuga y tomate un rellenos. Postre estaba bien, pero nos pareció que estaba en el barato. Llegamos rápidamente en uno. Pero el servicio era tan lento que nos fuimos después de cinco todavía estamos esperando nuestro café.
