When this Fish & Chip shop reopened about 2 years ago under new management, freshly revamped & called Hooked it all looked very promising ! The shop was clean & inviting & the cod & chips here were nice, not wonderful but miles better than the old Fish & Chip shop Sea Lion which was awful. Now I'm sorry to say it has deteriorated badly. I went in tonight just for beef & onion pie & chips and the place is dirty looking counters and the meat on the donar kebab spike looked disgusting like it had been there all week ! The pie was ok but you can't really ruin that as it's just heated in its pack, however the chips were horrible greasy and overcooked !! What has gone on here ! Such a shame as it's my local but I won't come here again ! Broadway Fish & Chip ShopBexleyheath by far & away best fish & chip shop in area, lovely tasting cod & chips, further for me but well worth it !

Stopped at this newly refurbished takeaway (now called HOOKED Fish & Grill) and ordered a Chicken Tikka Indian Special. The nann bread was rolled and then baked in front of me, large pieces of chicken tikka were added, with my choice of all the salad and sauces. My friend ordered a donner wrap and chicken wings. Chips were not needed when we saw the portion sizes. When back at base the food was packed well and hadn’t leaked while traveling. It tasted really good and I will definitely be going back for more when in the area. It took around 10 minutes to prepare our food, but the shop readily gave me a menu inviting me to call around 15 minutes before next time so there won’t be any hanging around.

Recently moved into the area, and been searching for a decent chippy. Was very pleased with my order. Large portions, freshly cooked and served with a smile. Will definitely be returning

At last they have a manager that knows what they are doing Communicating with dinners. Friendly approach from all. Get rid of this manager and you might as well sell up and put up flats.

Danson Park, Danson RoadThe reception on arrival was warm & very welcoming. The service was spot on, time to settle, order drinks & then choosing/ordering food. The carvery was the best I have experienced in a long time. Good choice of meats(3), with Salmon/Veggie alternative. The vegetables were very good &, surprisingly the roast potatoes that most Sunday lunch offerings always get wrong. Starter choices were good & I would highly recommend the squid. Choice of sweets was decent, although the first two courses were more than enough for me. Only downside was that the ale was limited to bottles of Doombar.

74 Bexley High StreetHad such a great time here with my family, we came and had dinner which the food was very delicious and the staff working was very polite and couldn’t do enough for us. We then stayed for karaoke for a bit which we all had fun and can’t wait to come back soon. Thank you for making our visit a memorable one

37 Welling High StreetToday had Turkey tradition meal at the Nags Head. We ordered drinks from a friendly, cheerful young lady. She wasn't sure about what we wanted (port and lemon) so was happy for us to tell her what it was and how to make it. Then joined in with our amusement over why we wanted it. We were shown to our pre booked seat, and did not feel hurried in any way to start our meal. Starters were very tasty, especially the mushrooms, and was a good sized portion. Christmas dinner was well cooked and presented. Again, very generous portions. We love the new decor, especially the 'nags' heads on outside of the building. The refurbishment definitely an improvement Staff were very attentive, chatty and friendly. We will definitely recommend 'the Nags'. Thank you for a lovely afternoon
