The Three Blackbirds Pub in Bexley

Had a fantastic breakfast for a retirement party for a colleague. Lisa and kitchen staff did an amazing job of keeping the teas and coffees flowing.

The food and service were very good. The Lady who served us Lisa could not have been more helpful in fact all the staff were very friendly.

Staff are very polite and helpful. Pub has a nice atmosphere. Food you cannot fault, freshly cooked and very hot. Both of our Rump steaks were cooked to perfection, medium rare, very tender with for fat or tough bits. Toilets are very clean but quiet old and tide. But inside the pub area all freshly decorated and a high standard. Covered in smoking area in the back garden with heaters.

First time visit. Fantastic food and service. Hard working team. Lisa was great.

Always a great atmosphere, took some new work colleagues for meeting rather than sitting in a boring meeting room and eating boring sandwiches.

It was a Great pub when I lived in the UK, good beer & food but not been over there in over 19yrs. We'll I went back here in 2022 and boy I was disappointed,I was looking forward to drinking here for 20+ yrs. Boy that was a let down.

I will be going to the three blackbirds more often it's a comfortable place to eat and drink I can't wait for weather to warm up to sit in the outside space for drinks

Visited this establishment a few times over December/Xmas period, including Xmas Day. As a family we really enjoyed ourselves. Staff were friendly and great service. Drinks were great. Great value for money, prices are very competitive, lowest in the area! Definitely returning in 2024. Perhaps only thing missing is a nice draft ale or IPA.

Accessing the app. We are both unable to get app. Been trying for 3 months. My husband had it, bit then everybody seemed to have problem ,we still have.

We had a meal today (Boxing Day) The food was lovely we were served really quickly the food was delicious and hot - the staff were so friendly and helpful- very impressed with our meals.

I recently visited with my family for an evening out. On arrival we were greeted by all staff members with a hello and a smile. The manager Amy was extremely pleasant, and very helpful. The staff ensured we were catered for, and the food was exceptional. Left with a full stomach, and having had a pleasant evening. Would highly recommend and will visit again

I visited for a birthday meal with my son and was extremely satisfied. The food was well cooked and of ample portion size. The service given by the staff was also outstanding, with Lisa the supervisor, who is very smiley and happey, ensuring customers feels at ease going above and beyond. She took time to explain the app system and what offers could be received. Would recommend this pub highly to anyone, knowing that the services, food and drinks will be excellent.

Started to go here fairly regularly in the past year. Staff are very friendly and helpful and the food is reasonably priced. Love the salad with salmon or prawns. A great mix of ingredients. The Cadbury lovers sundae remains my favourite dessert. Highly recommend a lunch visit here. Back again today. Love this place. Salad again with the seasoned salmon. Delicious. Really can't recommend it highly enough.

Had dinner with the family - really nice, warm welcome and the staff were great. They looked after my son's egg allergy and the food was warm. They even added extra toppings on the dessert, for my children. Thank you very much for a nice meal, would definitely recommend and will be going again soon. 👍

Just want to thank Lisa and the catering and bar teams for the excellent way they handled the wake for my late husband on 09/11/23. They were professional, kind and friendly, and the buffet was very well received. The service and food provided was second to none. I would have no hesitation in giving ten stars if I could! We enjoyed some good home cooking with great service and a very welcoming atmosphere. Parking was easy, but you need to remember to check your car in when you arrive.

Came here for a family dinner on a Sunday at 5pm. We were given a warm welcome and shown to our table. The service was fab and everything was served with a smile. The food was very hot. tasty and served promptly. There was plenty of choice and fab value for money. Lots of deals throughout the week as well. Also plenty of parking and good facilities including sport being shown on the tv. We would definitely come back again and would recommend.

I was greeted by a lovely barmaid called Toni who was very helpful and an asset to you pub she looked after me for my stay and would definitely visit again well done.

Nice food, nice drink, nice chat, nice pub! Stuff for the kids to do on a Sunday, not rammed to the hilt on the day we went which made it comfortable. Just an all round nice place to come for food and a drink.

The food was lovely, I had the veggie burger which was delicious. My daughter had garlic bread which could been cooked for longer but all in all a fab meal.

Really good pub with good, cheap food for all. We love it here for an easy meal out and drink. Kids welcome. Friendly staff make it a good place to go. Nice to see somewhere still supporting Blue Light and NHS workers too, with discount on food! 👍

We haven't been here for awhile due to a previous bad experience with food but today we had a wonderful experience with the bar manager Toni and also Ruby. We ordered fish and chips and it was lovely! Toni and Ruby's service was exceptional and they went out of their way to make us feel welcome and provided us with a lovely experience this time. The pub was very busy and they both had everything under control, tidy and organised. Thank you Toni and Ruby, great job and great service. We will be seeing you alot more often now!

I visited the three blackbirds, to meet my son. We walked in and was greeted like a regular, and was spoken to politely. We ordered drink, took and seat and looked at the very varied menu. One mixed grill and chicken burger double later We were fully stuffed. Food was amazing and delicious, and very much worth the money. The staff I saw Lisa and Amy were fantastic in everyway, catering to the needs I asked for. Excellent service, excellent food, excellent establishment, credit to Amy

Loved my experience at the three blackbirds, staff are very welcoming to me and the kids. Food was excellent and very reasonable in price for the quality of food that is served. The pub is very child friendly as they have a bouncy castle every weekend and gives out child packs and balloons to the kids. I love the fact that they don't allow dogs in the pub, as they serve food so the food hygiene is excellent and this adds extra security knowing my children can run up and down the beer garden freely not having to worry about a dog chasing them. I highly recommend this pub and will definitely come again

Had a lovely family lunch here with a drink in the pub garden. The chicken and roasted vegetables were amazing cooked by Sharon the chef I highly recommend this dish.

What has happened to the petanque club ? The petanque club used to meet there when the blackbirds was owned by Charringtons. Now the the club has gone and the pitch is missing.

Nice pub with reasonable prices

Came for dinner with my family. Service was friendly and quick, didn’t have to wait long to be served or for food to arrive even though it was busy with football on and the sun being out. I would highly recommend trying one of there cocktails as they are delicious & good value for money. Would also highly recommend something from the sizzling range, I had the ribs and rump. It was fantastic that it actually came sizzled and hot. Thank you again, myself and my family will be back soon.

Lovely family meal for my son's 18th birthday - staff friendly and helpful. Even made delicious fish goujons for two younger guests who wanted the unavailable fish fingers - the goujons were MUCH nicer! Yummy haloumi fries, salt and pepper mushrooms, burgers and gammon - large plate defeated the previously undefeatable! Plenty of parking, service second to none and nice garden with smoking shelter for sneaky vaping. Definitely recommend for family meals - thank you! Xx

Food and service good. Shame about the back door slamming every few minutes right next to us. Invest in a door closer, or get a carpenter to install one for you. March 2023 Another visit.
