The fish and chips are not worth much, the other dishes are good enough. The place is very beautiful and relaxing on a good day. You have to go and order inside the pub and it's a bit of a hike

The service was excellent, the food was nice. It was lovely to sit and chat and catch-up as we enjoyed our food.

Perfect service quick and reliable

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the manager of this pub. His behaviour was unprofessional and lacking in basic respect – not what you’d expect from someone in a managerial position. I genuinely question how someone so poorly suited for the role could have been appointed as manager. The management should seriously reconsider their hiring practices and ensure that those in charge are capable of handling situations appropriately.

Excellent service, great setting, exceptional food, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Location was fantastic on the banks of the river seven on a sunny day. Dog friendly is a billy bonus

Family Sunday lunch with 12 people. Food was excellent with a wide variety and beautiful setting. However, service could have been warmer. Our party was two larger than anticipated and this received a frosty reception. Towards the end of the meal we were reminded slightly coolly that they need the table back at 2pm.

We found this Beautiful village and delightful pub on return from Cambridge to London… The food was delicious and service was great. It was a nice warm day and we sat on a very comfortable patio in back yard. Our young server was very attentive and polite (she even told us we don’t need to tip her because service charge was already on bill) The only negative we can state; is the size of some of the portions… the burger was plentiful and delicious. However, the chicken dish whilst very tasty was very small and consisted of one potato, four very small baby carrots and two small pieces of chicken; One of us left the pub still hungry. I think sometimes pubs try too hard and forget that most people go to a pub for a large, filling plate of pub food.

Absolutely amazing food, excellent service, extremely friendly staff, very accommodating letting my daughter try popcorn chicken before ordering them.
