The best restaurants serving British food in Hunstanton King's Lynn and West Norfolk East of England

Came here after a bad experience locally , it’s a ‘proper’ seaside cafe where the staff actually care. Made to feel welcome food came out fast and looked as it should . Club sandwich is an out and out winner. Just a good old fashioned cafe , result to find it !

Lovely breakfast, we booked a table but didn't need to, quality food and drinks. We will definitely be back. They also have offers on. Our two breakfasts and 2 drinks were just over £15!!

I go here quite a lot and have always found the owners very helpful and polite, I have tried different meals from breakfast to lunch, ice creams etc and have all been amazing, I wouldn’t go anywhere else whilst visiting Hunstanton.

Lovely place, staff polite & helpful. However, dogs!!! Blimey they are everywhere. Even had one relieve itself up against the bar, right in front of us. Also, the barking from others was just too much. Why do owners think it’s funny & ok to let them do this, when people are trying to have a nice quiet timeout?

We just had Latte and cappuccino, they were awful and expensive

For what we paid I expected better , think the fish had been kept warm all day , dried up and the chips were no better - won’t be going back ! Awful !

We always love to visit the Thornham Deli! The shop is full of treasures and the restaurant is absolutely amazing. My very picky kids enjoy the large kid’s menu and my partner & I enjoyed a fabulous meal as always. I got the Pork Roast dinner with the cheesy leeks- OMG!!! So good and much better than any cheesy cauliflower I’ve ever had. My partner had a pork, brandy & apricot pie that ended up as a very clean plate. Staff is lovely, atmosphere is quirky & very clean. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Lovely dinner, and very good value too. Two of us had the set price (2 courses) menu, and the main course (beef brisket) would have justified the price on its own: tasty, and very generous helpings. I had the carbonara off the main menu, and again it was very tasty and well worth the price. A decent wine list, and we enjoyed a bottle of Primitivo. Nice to find such a good restaurant within easy walking distance of the apartment in Hunstanton where we were staying.

Definitely gone down hill since our last visit. Over priced Tasteless fish. We also has a kabob on stale bread, overall very poor.

Nice little cafe with a good choice on the menu. Staff were friendly. Hot chocolate was a delight. Will visit again when next in Hunstanton.

Wow what can I say. £2 for fresh filled baguettes with lots of choice all ready made. Hot sausage rolls £1 each and others even cheaper. Lovely selection of cakes all so cheap and fresh. Mum told me to try it and will go back again. Amazing value. So much cheaper than Greggs at other places. Drinks from QD even cheaper next door in the fridge if you want a cheap lunch this is the place.

We came home with a great selection of apples and pears from the orchard, some we had not heard of before, they are all the same price by weight so you just make your own selection into a bag. We will be batch-baking apple-crumble for the freezer. They also have a nice butchery selection and local cheese amongst other edible. Not so keen about Gurneys the fresh fish shop as they didn't seem to want the custom they shut up early. The Fish and chip shop had a gluten problem which I will review separately.

Had a nice meal for 2 here. Decor and building is lovely, service was efficient and meals came out quickly. A decent choice on the menu, not insanely expensive depending on what you chose. Chocolate brownie dessert was delicious.

Our accommodation was elsewhere and food not good so went here. This review is purely on food and bar services, we came here for meals, breakfast and evening meal. There were some builder in the indoor spaces doing some work but they were not disturbing us. Breakfast lady a little unsure of what her job is, i wanted to swap egg and bacon off 1 breakfast for extra slice of toast and a Rosti, NOPE NO SWAPS she was happy to leave them off my plate but then wanted to charge extras for toast and rosti, so I said forget it, just do 3 normal breakfast but put egg and bacon on a separate plate off one of breakfasts. Then next morning builders were again present around the indoor area and had to turn electric off briefly, before we arrived, then as we walked through door, same lady from yesterday morning was flapping and saying tills have gone down, she can't turn them on as she'll get into trouble, she kept repeating this to the builder blokes, who were telling her to just turn the switch back on and they would boot up, needless to say one of builders flicked the switch and tills rebooted up. Then she was waffling on about not my computer, I'm not allowed to switch them on. Honestly she was hard work. In the evenings Alan and Sarah were very attentive and a delight when we came for our evening meal for 3 nights. Food delicious and definitely worth shouting about. Bar prices reasonable too.
