Very good cakes. Always have a laugh. Sometimes passes a Bath Bun out on a try to the queue, it is warm and lovely. Cakes aways bigger than anywhere else.

This is a proper local bakery!!!! Fantastic selection of classic cakes and treats! You have to visit if you're in the area! make sure you try the HUGE scones

Just arrived off the coach ... in need of snacks ... spotted a long queue of people outside a small artisan bakers ... looked in through the window and saw the most amazingly huge buns and cakes, sausage rolls, cornish pasties to die for etc etc ... i joined the queue ... and once inside the shop which only has room for 4 people (lol) was mesmerised by the man working behind the counter ... v. v. interesting face like an ageing rock-star ... hair in a pony tail ... intense eyes that looked into the eyes of every customer ... and very lovely banter that screamed "it's showtime!!!" and started off with "well hello there!!!" : ))) i was completely hooked ... if i lived there i would have to go in the shop every day just to watch the performance ... my experience only lasted 5 minutes but it will be with me for a lifetime!!! thank you for turning a day at the seaside into a special little experience! : )))

Wow! What can I say? Absolutely amazing bread, cakes and sweet treats. We visited one morning and bought some crusty rolls to take back to our caravan on a wet and windy day in Hunstanton. Of course we couldn’t leave without sampling some of the cakes too. As a family we had a Belgian bun, (which was bigger than my head!) fresh cream iced fingers, a huge rocky road, bread pudding and a gingerbread man. Everything was absolutely delicious and lasted us a few days as they’re so big! Mr Bun was so friendly and spoke to everyone who came in. I loved his banter. He asked my three year old if the gingerbread man was for her and when she said yes, he snuck a second one in the bag free of charge. My husband visited the following week as he was on a work trip and I asked him to bring me back another Belgian bun. Couldn’t get enough! We will definitely be back on our next holiday at the end of the month!

Tasty cakes and pastries. Highly recommend the big custard tarts and huge Bath buns. Avoid the millionaire pastry unless you have a very sweet tooth! Eccles cakes are different with plenty of raisins. Nice baker.

Visted on 24th May. Nothing wrong with the cakes but the man serving was inappropriate with his so-called banter. I am quite easy going but was shocked at what he said. He needs to reign it in as he went too far. Won't be coming back.

Rude man serving behind the counter, thinks he's funny but is actually a prize git. Tried to upsell me more expensive cakes. Only go if you like being insulted by unpleasant banter.

Every time we visit Hunstanton going here is a must. This time we went every day for 7 days the cakes are simply delicious, freshly made and friendly staff. I noticed this time that they diddnt have any Lardy cake out so after several days I asked if they did it anymore. They do but normally only to order and kindly said if I wanted one they could do it and I could go back in a couple of hours and get one. Sadly we couldn’t go back but I’ll know for my next visit. They are just so helpful. Definately worth a visit.

I think I must have caught him on a bad day, I popped in before heading home, so pretty early in the morning, I brought a white split tin and some hot cross buns. I was really looking forward to these when we got home only to be really disappointed, everything was stale which confused me as it was hot when I bought them. There are no prices on anything and I suspect I paid over the odds for not being a local. Maybe my expectations were too high.

Just had a afternoon tea for my hubby’s birthday. Lovely box and lovely sandwiches and cakes . It’s the second time we have done this . Would recommend his cake shop and afternoon tea .

We called in on the off chance as passing as the cakes looked lovely, and we were not disappointed!! My wife had a millionaires shortbread, and all I can say it took her 3 times to eat it all. Superb, large, and fresh. The gentleman who served was polite, friendly and very helpful. Call in!!

Having just rambled 7 miles on the beach we were in need of refreshment; the queue for the chip shop was horrendous so we popped round the corner to Mr Bun and part-took of a variety of his home-baked goodies. All super-sized as normal and all very tasty!

Wow what an impressive selection of bread & cakes & they are the biggest cakes I have ever seen! I had a millionaire’s shortbread slice, it was delicious & took me three sittings to eat it! It was only £2 so amazing value. Friendly service too - what more could you ask for?! A visit to this shop is a must if you’re in Hunstanton.

Ordered a birthday cake for a 3 yr old which was delivered on time and tasted great! She asked for a rose fairy cake with pink and purple icing..

OMG popped in to Mr Buns on way home we didn’t have a lot of room in our packed upCar so only managed 6 loaves and three pasties to tryResisted the gorgeous huge cakes this time Just eaten the pasties they are absolutely heavenly! I wish I bought 20 but i understand you maybe doing mail order very soon ! Hope so ! I want a tortoise loaf !!! Just amazing bread ! The smell in the care onThe drive home reminded us of when we were little going in to a Proper Bakery !!mmmm mmm

Passing by we saw the flyer in the window re afternoon teas and as we were staying in a nearby cottage thought it’d be a good idea.The picture shows what you get for 6 people! (One box = 2 people).Needless to say nobody went hungry. Great selection of pastry’s, savouries and sweets! All very tasty.Highly recommended for something similar or a takeaway picnic.Easy to order in shop or via Facebook and friendly staff.

Just popped into sunny hunny and decided to take home lunch. Hot, fresh, yummy pasties and lovely cake. The Belgian buns will feed 4! I had a whoopie pie - very nice. They are totally Covid friendly, you don’t go in the shop but order and collect from a service area in the doorway and contactless card available.

Popped in for some fresh rolls to make our lunch. Super fresh amazing bread, tasted devine. Very friendly service.

Has a great selection of Bread , Buns, Cakes, Pasties and Sausage rolls. The service was very friendly and he was very good at selling all what they had to offer - we all loved the ring donuts filled with jam, the Norfolk Pasties they sell are worth a trip alone . The iced buns which is one of their biggest lines are great. We tried quite a few things there and went more than once a day. It’s also open early from after 630am and closes early afternoon so if you get up early it’s well worth a visit.

I received a couriered hamper from Mr Bun the Baker in Hunstanton today, and it was exceptional. A huge variety, super fresh and delicious baked goods, and really well packaged, both individually and as a whole (nothing squashed in transit). I’m really impressed and very grateful to them for their care and attention.

The cakes and bread in this establishment are really nice, especially the iced buns. But on the negative side, everything is so over priced.

Popped in a couple of times this week, the cakes are made for giants and taste great, even bought some cobs ( I’m from Leicester 😆) they were lovely and fresh . We need to keep supporting the local businesses to help them thrive .

Being an ex baker myself this is how I used to remember bakers shops before supermarket instore bakerys killed them off.got some nice crusty rolls and fresh cream iced fingers all were lovely and will call in again next time in in hunstanton

Mr Bunn is the best bakers I think I have ever been to. Amazing Huge cakes. Fantastic bread. Great friendly customer service. I wish we lived closer. Definitely recommend.

This was a visit I will (and Have) repeated. the staff are friendly and enter into banter quickly. the standard of the bakery is very high and the prices are very reasonable. some products must be seen to be belived

This little bakers shop has the best bread on the planet, I wish we lived closer I would be there every day, the Brown bread is so tasty.

Soft bread and rolls huge cakes fresh cream ones as well delicious mince pies filled rolls coffee and tea you cannot walk in and brows you will buy something homemade absolutely first class

We called in here whilst on holiday for three hot drinks and cakes. The chocolate eclair was enormous and naughty and the slices of carrot cake were very moist and very deliciously crumbly. Service was quick and the choice was varied.

The lovely smell of fresh bread and cakes draws people in to the shop - always seems to be busy but very friendly and happy to serve - highly recommended

Working in Hunstanton I had heard about this superb little bakers selling all kinds of goodies. Checked it out and wow, what a surprise. So much to choose from, so much cholesterol overdose! Well, you only live once so decided to get supplies to take home. Everything seems to be about £2 a slice, well chunk really. Better value and choice than Greggs and freshly made. Fresh cream cakes, savoury, breads and everything for those with a sweet tooth! Well worth a visit.

Popped in for a few bits while we were on holiday in Hunstanton. Full of delicious treats. I had a Viennese Finger which was the size of a babies arm!! Will definitely be back when in the area.

We visit Hunstanton a couple of times a year and this place is a MUST visit!! giant sausage rolls and this Norfolk pasties are to die for!!! all i can say is it is a good job i don't live there or else i would be 5 stone heavier!! keep up the fantastic work guys and wish you success in the years to come, superb!

It's a bakery! We had some cakes, very nice, however I think they are too big and could be slightly smaller!

Must visit place in Hunstanton if you like cakes, place an order at shop for fresh cakes made to order in the morning. Friendly staff very helpfull and kind to kids giving out candy.

When ever we visit Hunstanton we always stop here and being home some treats. Great choice of extra large cakes baked daily and tasting perfect.

A MUST if you go to Hunstanton. But expect a queue and quite right too as it is fantastic and worth the wait. You are spoilt for choice. They look amazing. Constant baking going on. Fresh bread. Tea and coffee and a little seating outside. I wish I could get locked in here to be honest. I’d probably stay out for a week. Fantastic. Loved it.

We had a lovely sausage roll or two for lunch, they were hot and tasty and very good value Other pastries and goodies available

Popped in to buy a nice treat & had our first Norfolk Rock cake .The gentleman who served us was very friendly & when we made our purchase he gave us two free baguettes which was a lovely surprise ! They were both delicious. Would give Mr Bun a try if you are in the area :)

The inside of the shop was hot and steamy as usual as they were making bread ... half the charm of this place is queuing in the tiny shop and looking at all the cakes, scones and breads on sale ... and wondering how many you can buy without appearing greedy.

Interesting selection of traditional breads and pastries. Open early in the morning. Many baked goods brought back childhood memories.

Got to be the best cake shop in the country . the Cob's are brilliant along with all there cakes Mmmmm give it a try if you're passing

So I’m the numpty that paid for and left my rocky road and hubbys bread pudding on the counter ..the air was blue after a 2 hour drive home to realise I hadn’t bagged them . Absolutely amazing looking cakes ..we will be back .lol

Loved the massive cakes in window fit for giants, tried the Eccles cake and was very impressed. Good choice of bread as well

You must go to this bakers, can personally recommend the Rocky Road, Rock Cake. The size of the cakes are enormous. Also sell additive free dog treats made on the premises. All very good value

Called for cakes having visited before. Amazing as always. You have to keep going back because there are so many things to try!

The shop was full of smoke, presume something was burning in the oven. It can only accommodate about 4 people queuing, so we waited patiently outside with the other shoppers who were after a New Year cake pick-me-up.

Very disappointed as this shop looked OK from outside. We were served by a man who, when he came out from behind the counter, was wearing a filthy, stained T shirt and really dirty jeans and he looked like he had just come in from gardening. We had already asked for our cakes before he came round otherwise I wouldn’t have bought them. He then proceeeded to pick up the cakes from the window with his bare hands which were none too clean. I was shocked that he didnt wear gloves or use tongs. He then took our cash with the same ungloved hands!

THis is what is missing in so many towns, villages and cities, a proper bakery. Fantastic choice of pastries, breads and cakes; you could see the baker making a batch while you were choosing. The bread is very tasty and the savouries went down a treat. Will definately visit when in Hunstanton again

We had parked our car.,opposite Mr Bun and that lovely smell of freshly baked bread attracted us in...so pleased it did as the bakery was full of so many lovely baked things...we will certainly go back now that we've found it!

OMG...the cakes were amazing and HUGE ...👌absolutely loved our selection we bought. ..including the Victoria sponge...will definitely be returning. ..certainly a must if u go to hunstanton. ..😉

This is a great bakery. We had some tray bake buns and giant rock cakes. All tasty. Friendly staff. Wish they were in my home town

Thought I’d finally do a quick review after visiting the chatty man 8 or 9 times (what my 4 year old daughter calls him :-) We never manage to walk by without popping in, big selection, huge bakes and very tasty!

Lovely little shop, I was taught to say scone to their satisfaction. the cream-filled Belgian bun was humungous, yummy and fed 2. We snacked outside, they have tables and chairs and they sell coffee. Tastier than a well-known brand c.. cough a few shops away. Go here for proper baking.

what a fantastic little place, lovely hot pastries and bread rolls to die for. We popped in on our last day of our easter break to take some goodies home.

We stopped in to Mr Bun to get some dessert after our fish and chips. The shop front, while relatively small, was packed with quality baked goods and treats. The service was good, and the products yummy. We had an apple strudel which was well filled, pleasantly sweet, and wrapped in a very nice pastry. My wife had an individual serving cheese cake which actually would have made two servings. The cheese filling was really creamy, yet firm, and the base was thick. The tick base did not mean they had scrimped on the cheese though. This was first rate. Allowing for the high quality and large serving sizes, this is excellent value for money as well.

Bought some cakes to take home from our holiday. Man serving was very friendly. Size of cakes was huge. Got a free pack of biscuits because we spent over £10. Bargain! Recommended.

OMG!! Second time ive bought the norfolk crusty rolls from here. They are simply the best crusty rolls ever. lovely tasty crust and light and fluffy inside. Saved 2 for bacon rolls for breakfast (may have to get up early as cant wait to try them). Nice cheeky chappie on the till. Not the cheapest rolls but worth every penny. Keep on baking!!!

Best home made bread in Hunstanton i buy my bread thier all of the time the Cakes are a little on the expencive side but saying that the cakes are on the very large side so can be split into 2or3 for the Kids

We decided to have some Steak Sandwiches for our evening meal....convaluted I know but we were in Hunstanton for the day, just had a bag of chips.....lets get some bread so we don't have to stop on the way home........!! Mr Bun.......OMG!! Four bread rolls, a taste of heaven....."Just help yourself" he said....Fantastic.....they were awesome!!!!

This is how all bakeries should be ... traditional cakes and pastries, beautifully baked, served with a smile and at sensible prices. I'd come back to Hunstanton just to get another cake from here.

Our family turned up en masse for something to warm us up on a chilly Boxing Day walk. We were delighted to find this small shop open - with a wonderful display of cakes and goodies in the window... tempting even after plenty of Christmas treats! Service was a bit stretched with ten of us all wanting something different but very friendly and welcoming. The coffee and hot chocolate were great and the cakes freshly made (even on a public holiday just after Christmas!) and delicious.
