First time visiting and only had breakfast sandwiches as was on the way home and stopped by King's Lynn for some shopping. Food was lovely and must say the roast dinner looked really nice too. Will defo go back next time I'm in King's Lynn.

Found this place by chance on a quick stop on the way to Hunstanton, popped in had a lovely 3 meat roast dinner which even came with free apple or rhubarb crumble with custard or a bowl of ice cream. Honestly I'm a fussy bugger for food but I've got no complaints here at all and will be definitely coming back, good size meal and plenty of choice for vegetables and a nice thick gravy. £10.99 for a big old roast dinner and desert can't be beaten. See you all soon

Forgot to take photos but food was good. Hadn't been before and didn't know what to expect but staff were helpful, soon worked it out. You have a large drinks selection hot and cold, choice of a large buffet of roast dinner items, or breakfast buffet, or they do jacket potatoes with various fillings and omelettes. I had a cheese and mushroom omelette with chips and salad. Was really good. But it all looked great. Large amount of tables both inside and out, so if you have a dog, you can sit outside easily (if weather allows)

When you arrive, no one welcomes you , helps you find a seat, and to whether you need to be served , you just have to get up and go to counter and get served by miserable looking staff , the food is cooked I am sure in strange tasting fat , we had a roast which was eatable , but the breakfast wasn't very nice , its quiet a busy place though ,

Meals are very good, italian run, serving women friendly the italian guys much less. Coffee drinkable but from a machine, ao that was really surprising, and wouldnt be coming back in for that. The food however is great, best spot in King's Lynn. Coffee machine though....

As visitors we in were looking for somewhere to have Sunday lunch. We happened across this lovely restaurant that was advertising a roast dinner. What an amazing place and a great find. The food, the service, the price and the place was very nice. Clean, well organised plus helpful, friendly staff. So many places nowadays are lacking but Cafe Roasta clearly know what they’re doing and do it very well. Thankyou very much. We’ll be back.

We always met our friends in Cafe Roasta, and always have a meal. My husband loves the Pork Roast dinner, and I love the Cottage Pie. Food is always hot, and the value for money is second to none

I have always had good food in this little cafe and staff are so obliging especially Susan. I use this cafe a lot when I am supporting adults with my job. However, just recently I took my sister there for a meal and a drink, the bill came to £22. I asked if we could have a glass of tap water so that my sister could take her midday medication. Waiter told me that they have been told to charge for tap water now!! I questioned owner as we had purchased drinks also, he said it was because his overheads are expensive. I was disappointed and it has put me of going there. Also as he has alcohol license I felt he was obliged to give out free tap water?

Just had a takeaway breakfast from there. Toast, hash browns and mushrooms. Hash browns were the best.

Buffet style you ask what you want pay then they bring it to you, price is good also good and coffee is nice there too, recommend :-)

Misleading, they call it a "buffet" restaurant, but you're only allowed to choose one main dish and small sides that fit on the plate, you're also not allowed to take a second plate. How are y'all allowed to call it a buffet?

Hi understood. However when we come for breakfast, I have to take medication as I am diabetic. This is easier to be taken with water than with a hot drink. Tap water is free. I understand costs have increased however all I was asking for was a glass of water!

Sunday roast is not really worth £12 in my opinion. The quality is "ok", the quantity not enough as I'm hungry again after literally 2 hours.

Had a Vegetarian Chili with plain rice and tea. After ordering, the lady at the till said my meal would be brought over, and quick as a flash it was. Properly fresh ingredients cooked perfectly with cleanliness observed I couldn't fault. I left a tip..

Been here a few times, it’s a good genuine cafe. Buffett style so there is a lot to choose from. The food is good and the staff are always pleasant and helpful. If you want a quick bite to eat this is a good place to go

I searched around for a Sunday carvery. Most were expensive and provided table service. With a group of picky eaters I wanted a self service carvery. This was better! With an excellent choice of vegetables and choice of beef and pork (pre cut) all prepared and served to me by staff at a counter each person could choose exactly what the wanted. It was busy but still plenty of seating free. The artwork on the walls was great to ( I would love to see more) . I was sceptical about how the meal was going to taste. Every bite was flavoursome and I smiled throughout the meal in delight as this restaurant had managed to provide for my family something very few others had. A quick and hassel free service, food that looked and tasted better than we expected , healthy food, 5 smiling faces with 5 full tummies. What a great place for a Sunday lunch. We were all now set for a spot of shopping in Kings Lynn. Will be back again soon for another great Sunday carvery.

Happened to walk past and spotted they were doing a takeaway Sunday roast. What a great surprise and treat. Service was excellent, welcoming and I was offered a coffee as I waited. Choice of beef or chicken and the trimmings. It was £8 and real value for money. My meal came in three containers, all keeping my meal piping hot. I was served three good-sized thick slices of beef, Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes, carrots, cauliflower and broccoli and tasty gravy to top it off. This venue serves a variety of foods and music nights when open to the public and has an upstairs function room. I plan to eat there again. Malcolm Powell, King's Lynn

Visited here was passing through on holiday and decided to visit here as premises looked clean and tidy, was operating a COVID system and not too busy. Found the staff to be prompt, polite and welcoming. The menu whilst consisting of mostly basic fare, it was nice to see hot fresh food being served by staff behind a counter. We opted for a jacket potato with Prawns/salad, homemade lasagne and chips with water and a black Americano. Food was served quickly, hot, well prepared/fresh and tasty, so all in all a pleasant experience was had. Also found coffee to be of a good quality. Overall, the visit was an enjoyable one and well priced.

Went in for a coffee, and a Latte for £1.79 is good value in my book. Hand sanitiser near the entrance. Sat at an outside table, friendly waitress brought out my drink. I noticed that she diligently sanitised each table after the customers left. Enjoyed the coffee as I read my paper. All in all a very pleasant experience. Have eaten here on many occasions and never been disappointed.

My partner and I visited here for the first time recently. We most definitely will return. We had a wonderful roast dinner, very good value for money. A choice of three different meats, a good selection of vegetables, Yorkshire puddings and stuffing. Apple and cherry crumble with custard for dessert. All the food was piping hot and delicious. Excellent service, friendly staff, plenty of seating an space. Can’t fault it at all.

We visited Roasta Cafe for Sunday dinner, the Sunday roast options were good value and good food, it’s not a gastro pub carvery but has good food in a cafe environment. The carvery was a choice of Turkey, Beef or Lamb roast with a wide choice of vegetables, shame there wasn’t a vegetarian substitute for the meat but the plate full of veg was delicious. Staff were courteous and friendly. Easy access for everyone.

Another visit to Kings Lynn and had to return to Cafe Roasta for breakfast, which was a triumph yet again. Great service and great food. Thank you.

If you need a full English and a pint of tea or coffee so sooth your throbbing head then this is the place. The food was OK, although it all tasted the same to me, and the selection is huge. It's a buffet style where you choose how many items and the lady behind the counter serves it up. Lots of other items on the menu.Great interior decor and right in the centre of town.

Popped in with the family on a Thursday and there was a great Buffett selection.They had a full breakfast selection and a lunch selection. We had the lasagna, sausage and mushroom bake along with other dishes, four of us eating full meals with drinks for £28. Great value for money. A good place to stop for lunch or dinner

Never had breakfast here before, walk past all the time. We were hungry and in a rush so we popped in as it was the closest. We are never walking past again and can't wait for our next visit. Food was not greasy, eggs cooked to order, service was 100% and the price for the great quality was amazing 7 item and a 5 item with two coffees £10. PERFECT X

The staff at Roastas are just so helpful and friendly. This really is the Café of Kings Lynn. Proper breakfasts and lunches at such fair prices. £5.99 gets you a full plate of your choice from the served buffet and the quality is so good.I meet people there for coffee and it’s so relaxed and friendly.They really have got it right.

Lots of choice, plenty of room to sit down to eat, the takeaway boxes are not very good they practically dissolve from the heat so unfortunately will not be using the take away service any more although will still eat in if enough time during lunch break, little expensive but get quite a lot of food, jacket potatoes are massive maybe could sell half and charge less as they cost lot more than other places in Lynn and we couldn't manage to eat a whole one as was so big

Walking through Kings Lynn early on bank holiday Monday, Cafe Roasta was one of the few places open serving food. The kids were hungry, so we had little choice.Italian design inside and out, peeling away in places - strange dated charmless place.The food has large portions of very greasy, poor quality food which was very much over priced. I couldn't finish my omelette and chips due to the fat oozing out!With the door open, the café stinks of smoke from all the smokers are the tables outside.The staff were friendly and helpful when you could get their attention as they were very much overworked.Sadly another café to avoid.

After reading a negative review where a lady was extremely traumatised after being asked how many eggs she wanted and was so badly scarred she couldn’t eat I anxiously entered. I tentatively approached the counter and nervously waited the ‘egg’ question. The lady behind the counter politely explained what the process was for the breakfast (you ask what you want and they put in on your plate - innovative!). I had expected to be overwhelmed at this point and was pleasantly surprised and staring to feel relaxed. Then - BANG!!... out of nowhere I was asked how many eggs I wanted. I froze.

We've been going to this cafe as it's good value for money! Good portion of food, quick service and tasty food! Would recommend!

Just needed a snack for lunch during a day trip. This restaurant is completely understated and provided excellent food in a buffet style with many choices of main dishes. The staff were very pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. Very clean and a relaxing atmosphere.

We visited Kings Lynn for the first time and used Trip Advisor to decide where to get breakfast. Based on that we visited Café Roasta. The lady behind the buffet was very rude and didn't explain anything about what was available and how the whole buffet thing worked. She just wanted to know immediately how many of us wanted eggs. She rushed us so much that one of us actually decided to have nothing because it was too stressful having to make up your mind so quickly within seconds. However 3 out of 4 us did eat a breakfast. Mediocre would best describe it as we're not big fans of "cereal and sawdust" sausages or the fact that it was all pre-cooked and we had no idea how long it had all been sitting there. Tired décor and grotty loos meant that we would never think about going back again. Sorry but that's how we found it!

Visited last Sunday, nice and early to miss the crowds and decided we fancied a full English breakfast. Wow, not disappointed, superb. Excellent value, well cooked and lovely coffee. The staff were really friendly and very helpful, made you feel welcome. This could become a regular haunt.

Always lots of tasty dishes, home-cooked, buffet-style. Good prices, massive portions - choice of two plate/portion sizes. Breakfast all day. Casseroles, pies, roasts, curry, stews, baked potatoes, paninis, sandwiches. The staff are always friendly and helpful. They will adjust dishes where possible to your liking. There's tea, coffee, alcohol, soft drinks. Cakes, cookies, muffins. If you have a roast on a Sunday, you get free dessert, I believe.

This is the best place to have a carvery, even if your celiac they will have food you can eat and it is the best place to eat, 5 stars hands down.

I went here with my son , early on a Saturday morning . Buffet style breakfast , Full English . Eggs cooked to order and the fried bread was just right , I mention these in particular as in buffets these are often dry. Service with a smile , and good value. I’ll certainly have breakfast there again

Was in Kings Lynn early so decided on breakfast. Its a buffet style you pick want you want and they bring it out to you with your drink. We sat outside as it was hot and we had the dog with us. The food was lovely. Well cooked and served with a smile. Loved it!!!

An amazing selection of dishes prepared each day. The prices have risen slightly for their two sizes of meal: but still good value. A real pleasure to be back here again.

Very everage coffee, no crease milk for tea, terrible 1970s decor...how did this every get good write ups. Even Costa coffee would be better than here.

Went into Cafe Roasta for the first time today - not bad at all! The food is fairly simple but filling and there’s a fair selection on offer at the buffet. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the setting was pleasant. It’s good food, but without anything too fancy. I wouldn’t recommend it if you were doing something special, for example for a birthday, but for a quick and fairly priced lunch while you’re in Kings Lynn, it’s absolutely fine.

It's not cordon bleu food, but for a decent lunch at a reasonable price, this place is fine. The staff are very pleasant, the portions generous and the price reasonable. It is a buffet style service so the food may have been under the lamps for a while, but you wont be hanging around.

I've been a regular of Cafe Rosta for about 5 years.The staff are friendly and the menu is very flexible. Good choice. If you're having a breakfast though avoid the sausages, plasticy.

We popped in while waiting to go to the cinema (10m away!) for a quick bite to eat for lunch. As it was a Sunday, they had the Roast Buffet and I had a good roast beef sandwich which came with a fresh salad. The coffee was good too. My wife’s jacket potato came with an enormous amount of coleslaw (too much, in truth) and fresh salad and was also good. I spotted they offer a loyalty card for regulars. Will go back when we visit Kings Lynn again.

What a find this is ..fantastic freshly cooked food lots of choice at an excellent price prefer mid week as more varied but the Sunday roast is also lovely .the only place to eat if shopping locally but beware you get loads of everything.

Everything smacked of being badly cooked in the first place, sausages cheap and awful, bacon is bland and Luke warm, mushrooms are fat sponges, black pudding dry as hell, toast chewy, eggs rock hard, basically a plate of awful and left most of it.

My wife and I had lunch here today. The food is great value plentiful and well cooked. Waiting staff are friendly,helpful but not intrusive. My wife had jacket potato and baked beans, I had ham egg and chips. The chips were hand cut and plentiful and done to a turn. Eggs just right and ham lean and succulent.

When we go to Kings Lynn we always stop and have a breakfast here the food is excellent and the staff are helpful and friendly.

Me and my boyfriend have been coming here regular for almost a year now, I just adore it, it was so quite when we first started coming but obviously word has got out as it seems to be bit more popular now. The wall pieces are amazing. They have so much choice, staff are so nice and always greet us with smiles, the hash browns are the best, I love it all though, I'm vegetarian and every time I come in the lady asks if i want 'one of my sausages' today. They also now do a loyalty card so you can get a free meal! They sometimes have deals on like if you buy roast dinner you get free crumble and things like that. I can't speak for the roast dinner as I still haven't had one myself but my boyfriend never complains about them. We always leave feeling stuffed and happy. Can't believe haven't got around to doing a review until now.

Local lady recommended we went as we had parked nearby and had no idea where to go. Lots of choices, very good prices and a lot of choice. Hubby had all day breakfast and I had small plate of corned beef pie with cauliflower cheese and roasted vegetables. Piping hot and very tasty. Staff very friendly and helpful.

We recently enjoyed our first visit to this establishment and what a pleasant suprise it was. The restaurant was clean, the choice of food was endless, everything being beautifully cooked. The price was very good value. The place itself feels calm and peaceful due to the decor. Will definitely revisit! Soon!

There are 3 breakfasts available, 5 items at £4.25, 7 items at £5.25 and 9 items at £6.25 all include a drink ie: tea, coffee or hot chocolate. Customers go to the hot plate and decide which items they have ie: sausages (not the best quality but I am very fussy about sausages), bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, baked beans, hash browns, fried bread, scrambled egg (or they will cook fried egg fresh if you wish) which is served by a member of staff. The cafe have nice staff, is well presently, tidy and extremely clean. There are tables outside (however these are used by smokers). We enjoyed our breakfasts which were well cooked and great value.

We went for Sunday lunch again and just had to write a review because we thought the other times we went may of been just good luck!!The food is superb,everything that can be is locally sourced. I had a long conversation with Mark the chef, he is a great guy and will even tell you how he makes things and the recipe if you twist his arm a bit.I will not run about the food try it for yourself, it is not the most up to date restaurant in town but is 5 star higene rated and should be number two in kings lynn.

We hunted round to find somewhere to eat in Lynn and decided on Roasta, the guy behind marie was very polite and went through the most amazing meals available, as it was lunchtime we decided on a decent meal. This we did three times at varying times we found the same high standard of food and service each time, coffee brought to your table if you wanted something then not available it was cooked there and then and your whole meal delivered to you.What was nice a disabled man in a wheel chair came in with his family within minutes a table was cleared joined together for them to eat, all without a word being said, it was just done.To everyone at Roasta, thanks guy's and lady see you next time we are your way

My husband and I pop in here for breakfast most weekends.It's such a fresh and delicious breakfast. The other dishes always look amazing, however we tend to go at breakfast time.The staff are lovely and helpful.Real good value for money.Must go for breakfast in Kings Lynn.

This is a family owned place that serves great food prepared in the kitchen at the back for a really good price. It's clean, family friendly, and better by far than many chains. I don't hesitate to recommend this.

Visited here on Friday for lunch. And I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant is absolutely spotless and has a really nice atmosphere. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The selection of hot meals was amazing, we were spoilt for choice. It is run on a buffet basis.I settled for the cajun chicken and my wife had the sweet and sour chicken. Both meals were substantial and good value for money. Although my cajun chicken was a bit on the salty side. It was still nice and spicy. My wife said her dish was delicious. We will certainly visit again.

Just passing through Kings Lynn , at 800 , on Friday looking for breakfast , a local pointed in the direction of Cafe Roasta, looks very smart from outside , and very clean and tidy inside as well , warm welcome by the staff and a vast array of choice awaited me, I have never seen such a choice in any cafe or supermarket, roast potatoes , plain or with onions , and with with 9 items and drink for £6.50 it was a bargain, daily papers supplied as well , fantastic, a must call in , when passing by again
