Go with a big appetite. Such tasty sausage rolls and local cider or apple juice, all served with a smile - thank you Suzie. Not only sausage rolls though, try the mega breakfast baps and veggie options. You will not leave disappointed, or hungry.

We had a delightful afternoon tea in this quaint restaurant in Hunstanton High Street. I loved the table setting and the interesting artifacts around the room. The sandwiches were freshly made with 4 different tasty fillings. This was followed by a delightful ice cream, fruit, cream and meringue dessert and we finished off with a warm freshly cooked currant scone with jam and cream which was so light and melted in the mouth. And of course we had a pot of tea each. It was the perfect amount for an afternoon tea. The service was excellent and Amanda, the owner, checked on us to make sure everything was to our liking. This was a prize I won in Town and Around so thanks also go to Elaine for this experience.

Yesterday we queued behind someone a few minutes before the kitchen shut - which ok was a bit short but as someone was before us and we were there before 3pm, we started looking at the menu while waiting. However by time the person in front had been served, it was two minutes past three and the woman on the till said sorry kitchen is now shut. We explained we were there before 3 and were waiting while she served the person before us but she dismissed us by saying the fryers had been switched off and that was that. Didn’t want fried food but that probably wouldn’t have changed anything. The manager was wandering around but elected to not get involved. My question is are you so complacent and arrogant to treat customers like this? There are many other cafes in Hunny - so perhaps that national paper review has gone to your head. We’re local and have spent hundreds in here over the course but not any more. Copper kettle or Georgie’s to name a couple are perfectly pleasant places where the staff actually give a hoot. UPDATE in response to owners feedback - So don’t say we were hostile and rude. Yes things were a little frustrated because we were waiting before 3pm to order, only to be very surprised when we were declined food - never had that happen anywhere else before - but if we were rude and hostile, then why did your staff serve us drinks? If we were rude and hostile, I would thoroughly expect nothing less than being asked to leave. - not be served drinks (which were very much needed in that moment). In fact, all hospitality premises have a zero-tolerance policy on hostility so it is only reasonable to say your feedback on our supposed behaviour is fiction - you certainly didn’t feel the need to ask us to leave. I don’t blame the member of staff on the counter btw - it’s you as the owner that should have a procedure that works - Maybe put the sign outside the door soon before 3pm saying kitchen closing time so it’s more obvious before anyone comes in.

Stopped off here for sausage and chips 11th April, really friendly lady served us and gave us a shout when food was ready. Nice seating area provided inside for your convenience, please note this is NOT a Restaurant and as such you will need to collect your food from the counter when it’s ready. Will definitely recommend and return when I’m Next in sunny honey.

1st time we’ve been. Had an open tuna sandwich each, coffee/tea. Open sandwiches were lovely - very tasty! Liked the ‘vibe’ - very calm/relaxed. Owner was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely come again when in Hunstanton.

A trip to Hunny isn't complete without visiting The Coffee Pot. A good selection of home cooked breakfasts, sandwiches and cake. The coffee is really good too. The staff are always friendly and hospitable. Even the prices are great value. Possibly the best cafe in town 👍

We went to the Copper Kettle for an all- day breakfast and the food was delicious. The service was extremely good. The waitress and chef were very accommodating to the changes we wanted to make to the meals, (seed oil free). We would definitely recommend other people to visit and sample the great food and service.

We booked in for brunch which was lovely. My wife had mushroom Benedict and I had avocado and poached eggs on ciabatta, whilst the kids went for english breakfasts and waffles. All the food was great, and service exceptional. They also accommodated our dog who was provided with a nice soft bed and her choice off the doggy menu. We then returned that evening for tapas. We had a wonderful seafood platter plus various dishes of which the deep fried crispy chilli chicken was a particular favourite. All in all a lovely place, food and service, and we shall definitely be returning next time we in the area.

I took my mum out for Mother’s Day and we decided to try this cafe near the beach for a full English breakfast. It was really busy and we hadn’t booked, but the waiter went out of his way to accommodate us. The cafe was very pleasant and the full English was one of the best we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was buzzing and everyone was so friendly. The location was great too. You couldn’t help but notice the other dishes being brought out and it all looked top quality. The specials on the board looked great and this included Sunday roasts. Lovely to see that dogs are allowed inside. There were lots of dogs outside at the tables with their owners; nice to see fresh drinking water out for them. I would highly recommend this cafe but pre-booking is advised.

When visiting Norfolk on my own last September ( my wife having died in July) it was so comforting to have such a warm reception at Caley Hall's Pinewood Restaurant. Covid measures were in place without being overwhelming but more especially there was a wide selection food and drink, furthermore reasonably priced. Though staff were all young they had clearly been well-trained and were nreally professional and obliging. I'm due to spend a week back in Norfolk in August this year and will put the Pinewood on my banker list.

I go here quite a lot and have always found the owners very helpful and polite, I have tried different meals from breakfast to lunch, ice creams etc and have all been amazing, I wouldn’t go anywhere else whilst visiting Hunstanton.
