Came here for a light lunch with family. Very nice and clean atmosphere inside with pleasant decor. I, with an egg allergy often feel unwelcome in restaurants, and find it difficult to relax and enjoy meals out, but here, no request was too much trouble. The staff were kind and patient, with the chef even coming out of the kitchen to reassure me, and check on details of all of our meals. I've never felt so welcome and at ease in a café and the extra efforts of the owners of The Spontaneous Cuppa really made a difference. I ordered a baked potato, with cheese and chives: the side salad was delicious, as was the potato, and the rest of my family thoroughly enjoyed their meals too. Feeling included in meals like this is important, especially for those of us who have allergies and dietary requirements. I can thoroughly recommend The Spontaneous Cuppa to anyone looking for a tasty lunch, especially to those with extra dietary requirements.

Sadly I cannot write a true reflection of this cafe and the food it has to offer but I would like to share my disappointment. We chose to go into this cafe today as it was extremely empty (one man eating a jacket potato inside) where the rude man behind the counter said to us we can’t accommodate for your number. There were 6 adults and 3 babies in pushchairs to be exact. All of our prams fold down small but with that welcome and practically being told to leave we did. I have never ever been turned away from an empty cafe before especially as a feeding mother whose baby needed to be fed. We found a lovely cafe around the front in a much smaller venue who were extremely accommodating.

An outstanding experience courtesy of Anne and Adrian, who have created a gem of a café on the Norfolk coast. The food is delicious, varied café fare that will tempt GD/DF and general diners alike. And the peace of mind that a fully CoeliacUK-accredited venue offers is all too rare, especially for an independent eaterie given the stringent requirements. Anne was very kind to share the name of local gf suppliers and some recipe ideas with our coeliac tween, who came away inspired to try a couple of variations on her trusted banana bread.

As someone with coeliac disease who has to be very careful where I eat, I was delighted to hear about this cafe. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! I will definitely be visiting again.

Found by chance, well what a great find. It is spotless, the food is wonderful and the decor is so relaxing. You could sit for ages chattering and drinking coffee. We have tried many in Hunstanton but I now think we have our go to.

My guesthouse in Hunstanton did not serve porridge for breakfast. I ate a few Weetabix instead for breakfast. By the time we set off in the morning to start our day I began to feel hungry again. I decided to try the local cafes in Hunstanton for porridge. The first two I tried were unsuccessful I then stumbled across The Spontaneous Cuppa I asked did they serve porridge and Adrian went and asked Anna if she could serve porridge ? She asked me if wanted it cooked the Scottish way with a pinch of salt ? Cinnamon or nutmeg ? Sugar or Stevia ? It was lovely. We also had nice coffees and had takeaway cake. I enjoyed the porridge and top class customer service so much that I returned the next day before departing Hunstanton for more porridge, coffee etc This cafe is spotless with healthy food and great customer service - what a find 👍

We sought out The Spontaneous Cuppa during our day out to the coast, as it had great reviews for gluten free food and was Coeliac UK accredited. We weren't dissapointed. The food was delicious and it was enjoyable to have the full menu to choose from. We didn't want to leave without trying everything and ended up buying extra cakes and sausage rolls to take back home with us. The owners were absoloutely lovely, chatty people. If you're deciding where to eat, we'd wholeheartedly recommend a visit. I'm sure if we were locals this would become a favourite eatery, and if they released a "Spontaneous Cuppa" gf recipe book we'd definitely buy it! Dietary restrictions: Coeliac UK accredited and everything is gluten free. I think they're 100% dairy free as well.

The Spontaneous Cuppa is without a doubt one of Norfolk's best gems! As a local to Hunstanton I have found a place that gets the balance of reasonable pricing, accommodating service and excellent food hard to come by; the Spontaneous Cuppa has got everything perfect, and I can honestly say that this is the friendliest and most enjoyable eatery that I have ever been to, not just in Hunstanton but all of Norfolk. Ann and Adrian do an outstanding job in accommodating for all dietary requirements, all the food is gluten free and there are plenty of options available for vegetarians, vegans and for those who are lactose intolerant - the food is second to none, I highly recommend the loaded potatoes and the trillionaires tart, all made by Ann and simply delicious! The menu is also updated daily to accommodate all dietary needs, all very fresh, and I can't get over how reasonably priced everything is! The building itself has a beautifully decorated art deco interior, I have found upon my visits that it is always immaculately clean and it is clear that all the staff have a very high regard for hygiene. Ann and Adrian are the friendliest and most accommodating people you could ever meet, you are guaranteed a warm and attentive welcome! Would highly recommend to anyone, and would encourage anyone passing to call in and give it a try!

Great friendly service, very good americano coffee and cappuccino. They are proving Gluten Free, Diary Free and Vegan foods which we didn’t try as we only stopped for a coffee. We have been here several times as the coffee is excellent and the service is so friendly,

So great to find a 100% gluten-free menu (plus many dairy-free, vegetarian and vegan options too). My husband chose Tandoori chicken:2 succulent pieces of chicken with new potatoes, salad and home-made raita. I had stuffed portobello mushrooms with new pots, salad and the raita. Both meals were absolutely delicious and an indulgent Billionnaire's shortbread rounded it off beautifully. The owners were really welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We'd certainly recommend this cafe and will return very soon.

A friend and I went out for lunch today and happened upon The Spontaneous Cuppa. It wasn’t until we were sat down inside that we realized it was a GF, lactose free, other stuff free kind of establishment. We decided to have a coffee and leave for lunch elsewhere. However, we ordered two flat whites. To our surprise they were really good flavorful coffees, I don’t care what kind of milk. A couple next to us were eating some yummy looking noodles and we decided to stay for lunch based on their comment to the owner about how good their food was. All I can say is…..the food was fabulous!! I had chicken stir fry and my friend had salmon salad. The food was fresh, home made and delicious. Don’t be put off by the GF lactose free whatever, the food is far from flavorless and as far as I’m concerned they can can leave out whatever they like. I’ll be going back for more for sure. Lovely friendly couple, great service, lovely little cafe. A great addition to Hunstanton. 😋😋😋

This is a 100% gluten free cafe which is a godsend if you are a Coeliac. It opened in March in the High Street in Hunstanton. There are a choice of freshly made dishes each day - a meat dish, a vegetarian dish, soup, Salad, sandwich and jacket potatoes. Their menu is influenced by world cuisine and it changes each day which is great if you are staying in Hunstanton for a few days. It had a very good ambience and was quite busy when we were in there - that’s always a good sign of a good restaurant. The owner Adrian was very welcoming to all the customers and made you feel very comfortable. My husband and I had Chicken stir fry with rice noodles and it was delicious. I thoroughly recommend eating here and my only regret is we didn’t find it at the beginning of our holiday as we would have eaten in there every day.

It’s lovely inside, so much to look at and things for sale too. I ordered a sausage egg and bacon roll. It was quite big! It came on a warm plate and the meat was from priors butchers. The teapots and crockery were vintage, loved them. I saw they catered well for gluten free and vegetarian options too. The cafe is dog friendly so as a dog lover, sitting by the door was fun to greet them as they came in. Can’t fault the food, parking, and all the lovely things to look at. I think it could be made more cosy by maybe putting up small partitions/ trellis in some areas maybe. They had a large selection of amazing cakes too!
