Called here for a cuppa on way home. Very nice little cafe, very dog friendly. Sat outside in large seating area with great views. Didn't dine here as we'd already eaten but they have a good menu choice. Right on the beach so you can go for a paddle afterwards 😊 Update; Today we came back and had food. 10 out of 10 😋

Our first visit in 5 years and what an improvement- now a safe haven for gluten free food, coeliacs are catered for. Separate menu for cafe and also noted options at the ice cream hatch. We visited for coffee and lunch on a busy BH Monday and they managed a faster than expected service, absolutely brilliant, so we could spend more time on sunny beach. Thank you!

Great location with great service and a choice of decent cafe food. This is a well oiled machine that runs really well, it’s nice and clean and the wait isn’t too long…. It’s got decent products that are presented well. Been here many times before over the years and will no doubt be back again. Well done on all of your hard work.

Have been going to this beach cafe for around 30 years and it’s gone from strength to strength. The food is reliably good, there are delicious vegan options and also a gluten free menu, but choices for everyone. This week I’ve seen them keep even large peak queues under control and always with a friendly smile. I love the veg curry and the toasties. Fantastic business- highly recommend.

Great little beach side cafe, has everything you might need including beach furniture that you might have forgotten. This is the only cafe/shop in the area so always expect long queues during holiday season. Staff are friendly and prices are reasonable. Hotel car park is next door (£8/day), gets full on busy days and then there is no other public parking in the immediate area.

I wish I'd have taken photos of this takeaway meal. Words won't do it justice, but I'll try. I had a nice, friendly greeting by the staff and my order was taken efficiently. I ordered four fish finger sandwiches and two portions of chips. The total was quite expensive, but when the boxes arrived, they were a) worth the expense and b) worth the wait. It was a busy, hot Sunday afternoon. The cafe was inundated with customers, I don't think they could have done more to feed us all in a timely manner. I simply sat outside in the sun with my dog and a cappuccino (made very welcome, by the way!) until the order arrived. The sandwiches were made with the finest bread (white, brown and granary were all on offer) and the fish fingers weren't simply Bird's-eye! The bread was buttered, the fish fingers were larger than you'd expect and full of proper fish. There was a small salad, coleslaw and a pot of tartar sauce inside the box, too. The chips were all home made and hot and crispy. The staff had added wooden cutlery to the order which made our beach meal perfect. I would definitely recommend.

Brilliant little 💎 in the dunes. Great value for freshly prepared food and home made cakes, the coffee and staff are always great. Such a nice spot to sit what ever the weather and they are dog friendly too.

Sat outside and had tea and cakes which were okay but didn't have any gluten free cakes left for one of our group. You have to be careful as birds try to get your food, a House sparrow took some cake! Close to the beach. There seemed to be a lot of dogs.

First visit in all the times we've been to Hunstanton, we'll staffed quick and friendly service very reasonable prices, our dog Reg loved your homemade dog biscuits only downside just one toilet.

Always a delight to visit whilst on holiday

Had cooked breakfast after a good walk along the beach. We'd drunk our tea by the time the breakfast arrived, but it was tasty and well cooked and not too greasy so we had a nice coffee as well to wash it down. We sat outside as had our dogs with us. The cafe is right next to RNLI station so we watched people come and go. No real view of the sea unfortunately as sand dunes and beach huts in both directions plus a big yellow skip. Plenty of fresh water from a tap available for dogs and special home made doggy biscuits you can buy from cafe

Lovely cafe by the beach. Staff very friendly. We sat outside, had coffee chips and sausage roll. Very nice. They give you a wooden spoon with a nimber on and bring your order to you. Lots of people in the cafe and outside, there are plenty of tables, or you could have a takeaway and sit on the beach, which is a few yards away.

We stayed in old hunstanton last week. Had read about this cafe and we're looking forward to visiting. Absolutely loved it! Food great. Vegan breakfast fantastic. Staff friendly. Our young dog loved the dog biscuits! Made our trip. Thank you.

After a refreshing and wet walk on Hunstanton's beautiful beach, we stumbled upon the Old Town Beach Cafe, and let me tell you, it was a delightful discovery! We had a fantastic mix of options, from burgers to hearty Thai curry. But what truly impressed us was the fantastic selection of gluten-free and vegan options. Often, these dietary restrictions can mean sacrificing flavor, but that's absolutely not the case here. Everything we tasted was bursting with fresh flavors and cooked to perfection. For the gluten-free folks, there were delicious sandwiches on proper bread (a rarity!), and for the vegans, there were creative and satisfying dishes like Thai curry (which, by the way, was incredible!). We all left feeling happy, satisfied, and incredibly well-fed. The Old Town Beach Cafe isn't just about the food, though. Having ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beans and waiting 25 minutes the order was bought out minus the beans..also ordered 4 dog sausages and once we got to the car found them to be completely raw... definitely not baked as a comment on a trip advisor review stated .I do know raw when I see it . Regardless of the cafe being busy standards should not drop. I will not be spending my money in there again .

Lovely place by the beach and great service. Very friendly and polite staff. Ordered the sweet potato with scrambled eggs, it was delicious and I highly recommend this place for a quick snack or brunch before or after your coastal walk or day at the beach.

Our favourite place. We're by the beach almost every weekend and always stop for a coffee and a bite to eat. The staff are lovely and always friendly and welcoming. Loads of Vege and Vegan food so I'm happy!!!

We chanced upon this little Cafe and tried our luck- we weren't disappointed! The staff were so warm, friendly and helpful. We ordered the sweet potato patties and a tuna sandwich and both were great. We sat outdoors because it was a sunny day - overall, the place has a great vibe.

Excellent-the breakfast was superb ,a 40 minute wait as it was busy ,but it was definitely worth the wait -bubble and squeak was perfect .

This cafe is in a beautiful location just off the beach and opposite the RNLI LifeBoat. We visit sunny hunny about 3 to 4 times a year snd always like to visit this cafe for breakfast. Very dog friendly and a great menu. We will be back 🫖💛🌈🌻

Just a wonderful place! An excellent selection of very reasonably priced food that suited us (vegans) and our companions (omnivores)… not to mention our dog, who simply adored the bone-biscuits we bought too. Considering its location and popularity, the food is incredibly reasonably priced (compared to anywhere in the surrounding area) and very, very tasty; I cannot recommend this place highly enough!

First sunny day of the year, first class lunch, smiling service and a reasonable price. What more could you want?

Great place , near beach. Plenty of choices of food. From breakfasts, jacket potato and daily specials. Cakes and scones aways delicious. Staff friendly. Service good. Seating limited inside, but Plenty outside in garden or front of cafe.. outside toilet. Water available for dogs. Dog friendly inside and out. Also does takeaway coffees and teas. Relaxed astomphere. High chair available for children. Children menu, also vegan menu.

Always made welcome right on beach, havnt got a dog but ideal stop off for your dog walkers. Treats on hand👍for all !

If you like a brisk or long walk by the sea and the fresh air is getting to you, then there is nothing better than a cosy little cafe to take a break. The cafe is ideally situated not far from the beach. It caters for all tastes, a quick coffee or the usual quick no fuss menu to leave you refuelled. There are plenty of tables inside if you want to stay out of the wind, and more outside if you prefer. Service is quick enough for food; and drinks are from the bar as well. Depending on your affiliation with dogs, you will, or you will not like the place! as dogs are allowed...and they are everywhere. Disfruta.

Great cafe, you should note the times on here are wrong. It isn't open at 9am on a Wednesday, certainly not in March when I visited. Probably more likely 10 but I'm not sure how to update information on Google!

My fav place to go after a long walk along the beach, welcomes dogs, lovely food. And best of all they have a whole vegan menu!

Me and my partner went for their themed meal nights - Asian themed food this time - and it was spectacular. The food was so tasty, delivered as a fine dining experience, and we was full to the brim! The atmosphere was so cozy with the candles so it was perfect for our Friday date night. We’ve been to the cafe during the day but knowing it can also turn into a fancy restaurant in the evening easily makes it our favourite place in Hunstanton. Can’t wait to go again!

This is a great spot to stop for a bite to eat or just a drink after a walk on the beach. It serves a good variety of food including a fabulous selection of Gluten Free food. Dogs are very welcome. The location is ideal for the beach and right next to the RNLI station which is worth visiting to make a donation for the upkeep of the lifeboat service

It's so much more than a cafe. The decor is fresh and clean. Dogs are welcome with home made dog biscuits available. The menu is able to accommodate all palates from carnivorous to vegans. The service is excellent.

A fantastic find in Old Hunstanton, with Happy efficient staff

I took my grandma here today as there is a beach wheelchair available to use free of charge, what a complete game changer for the less mobile! Food was lovely as were the staff, they went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after and nothing was too much trouble. Huge range of vegan options as well which makes a great change from the usual bowl of chips I would normally expect in a cafe!

A fantastic add to a day running the dogs on the beach. Completely dog friendly, with a selection of snacks & main meals: All day breakfast, Burgers, Soups, Chilli, Curry - quite a variety to be had. Also, not to be forgetting the Vegan menu, should you wish. Whatever food you order will be swiftly brought to you, and no doubt devoured in no time - especially if you're sharing with your dogs! Do your bit too, and grab a pair of tongs to take part in the two minute litter pick whilst on the beach. If everyone picks up just a few things, then it's a win-win for all. A highly recommended stop off, that you'll undoubtedly return to - just like we did! (You may even appear on the "Rogues Gallery" if you and your dog(s) have your picture taken)

Superb café with a very extensive menu and friendly staff. Deserves to be a success which we're sure it will be.

Lovely helpful staff and delicious food. Baked dog treats available on 2 of our 3 visits. Food was quick and hot even when the outside seating was practically full up. Dogs are more than welcome inside and out, with 2 water stations and a stack of spare bowls to fill and take to your table. 10/10 would absolutely recommend.

Great food (perfect paninis and salads), genuinely dog-friendly, with a pleasant staff. It was busy when we called in, but it's a comfortable wait inside and out. The only downside, a single toilet, but it didn't detract one bit from our visit. I might be wrong here but the cafe seems like a vegan/veggie place that also caters for meat eaters - and so it's a fantastic find!

It was very busy with a long queue which took 20 mins to get through. Food was great, whether to eat in or to take away. Prices reasonable (for 2023).
