Wow very nice room I say! sadly all ground floors were taken so I would advise you to ask for the ground floor if you are disabled. Had fans in the rooms as it was hot weather lol 😆

Stayed last night the 27th July 2024 for the wedding of Mr & Mrs Kent. We Stayed in room 4 in the hotel. The room was very clean and had everything you needed including a iron and ironing board, hair dryer. Good selection of teas with coffee and borders biscuits. Bedroom very nice but no air-conditioning but a powerful fan provide. All staff were amazing and very polite and helpful. Food was amazing for the wedding breakfast and the buffet well what can I say , plenty of choice and it just kept being topped up. All food was of a good quality and presented beautifully. The hotel and the hotel staff are a credit to the owners. This was our first visit but it won't be our last and we will definitely be spreading the word of this little gem. We tipped staff and they all worked very hard and nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was good with a menu choice. My friend asked for mayonnaise for her eggs which brought some laughter to the waiter. 100 percent this hotel was worth every penny we spent. Thank you so much crown lodge.

We only went for a meal but it was fabulous. Would highly recommend.

I have stayed here a couple of time whilst visiting friends, the rooms in the rear block are excellent. Large, comfortable with good sized bathrooms. The people here are always really friendly and the service has been very good indeed. Just not much else around in the area!

The Crown Lodge is definitely a hidden gem in the area. We have been visiting for lunch and dinners in the last year or so. The food and the service is 10/10 ( this comes from some one that is a foodie, eats out a lot and has masters degree in Hotel and Restaurant industry). There are slight little changes to the menu frequently, which is really much appreciated. The core menu is solid. The team and the Crown Lodge is second to none. We have been lucky enough to try some bucket list places and I can very honestly say that the Crown Lodge team goes an extra mile every time we dine there. The attention to detail is second to none. The team is very polite and make you feel that they somehow have a diary of what you like to eat and drink and in what order - I honestly don’t know how you guys do it. 😯 Passion is everything! The waiting time for the food is, I feel, very well planned - not too short and too long. You get enough time to “catch your breath” before the next dish comes out. They don’t turn tables around quickly and you don’t feel pressured to eat your food quickly. Timing is 10/10. The menu is well thought through and each starter compliments the main and so on. The value for money is incredible. For the service we get there we very rarely now dine anywhere else ( unless is M. House in Cambridge ) Amazing selection of drinks. We were in the area and had 3 or 4 hours to kill during a Saturday evening, so we decided to have dinner at this hotel. It was a great decision as the food was fantastic.

I asked for a quiet room given the proximity to the road. I stayed at the north end of the building (separated from the restaurant). Probably one of the best soundproofed hotels I've stayed at. Had a really quiet and comfortable night. The rooms are very modern and clean.

We had our works christmas party here, brilliant place and atmosphere.

Usually I stay here when I visit our main office, but 2 nights ago we had the pleasure of having our Christmas party here. The food was 1st class, the entertainment fabulous and the staff as always went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Thank you for giving us a brilliant night.
