The best restaurants serving British food in Huntingdonshire East of England

Treated the family to Sunday Lunch. Food was excellent. My Nephew, a bit of a foodie, said that it was the best pub Sunday Lunch he had ever had. There was a great atmosphere and lively ambience because the restaurant was packed with happy diners. Our orders for drinks and food were delivered with an almost magical speed. The food and drinks were delicious and well presented. The horseradish mash was the star side dish for me. The smart and efficient staff were friendly and attentive which added greatly to the overall quality of experience. We can't find a restaurant in Peterborough to match the consistent quality of experience the Black Horse delivers every time we visit.

I really recommend this places expecially when you have children. My sun was very happy to see the little animals 😊 and they have a very nice coffee shop and some farm products .

Great all round and very accommodating. We were meeting friends who were running nearly an hour late and after some scratching of heads they managed to hold our table. The wait was well worth while and very good food all round. Thank you.

First time here as we have only moved up to cambridge recently . So adventuring out and found this super venue. Food is very homemade and delicious, staff are friendly and helpful. Looking to make this our favourite 'go to place ' 😃😃

THE only place to go for a Date Night! Brill staff, fab menu (so much choice) and THE best food around! Huge portions... hubby had baby back ribs and there was nothing 'baby' about them! Fab chef too! Keep up the terrific work the team at The Manor!

What a wonderful surprise after 20 years of saying, “We must try that place”. Generous portions doesn’t really define the quality, flavours and variety that arrived before us. My wife had the chicken shish that had all the depth of flavours you would hope for in Greece or Turkey with the smokiness of the charcoal grill infused with herbs and lemon! 5 star shish. The BBQ Ephesus Special is a riot of meats - nothing short of cornucopia of flavours and textures all perfectly cooked. The mixed salad made the perfect accompaniment. This is a gem of a restaurant - do it!

We have just returned from a delicious lunch at the Saddle. The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious.We had fish and chips and steak and chips.The fish was delicious lovely crispy batter and the steak was very well cooked. The chips were also delicious. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. It was not busy which is a shame as the pub offered real value for money in a friendly environment.We will certainly return. Thank you .

Just had our first delivered Sunday roast. Found these on just eat. The turkey dinner was absolutely amazing. Very happy wife.

Ordered the spiced Cajun chicken burger. Appreciate the use of actual chicken breast, not a premade patty. However the chicken was dry and bland without the sauce. They could have done a dry brine to make it moist and flavorful. Burger came with one Roma tomato slice and a single leaf of lettuce. Disappointing and do not recommend this dish. At least chips and cider were good.

This pub was a great fine! Two fantastic beer gardens and a bowls club add to its charm, but it's the relaxed atmosphere that really makes it shine. I stumbled upon it by chance, and I'm so glad I did – I'll definitely be back. The menu looks delicious, and I'm looking forward to enjoying a meal next time. A perfect spot to unwind and soak up the atmosphere!

Really nice down to earth atmosphere, Jo was a fantastic host, lovely lady, kept working, cleaning tables, serving behind the bar and very attentive the whole time we were there. The food although not fancy was good value honest grub and enjoyable, will definitely be returning again.

A brilliant place to come for a meal or a drink. There is a beautiful beer garden and bouncy castle for those sunny days, a big TV in the public bar for watching the sports, and a clean, well lit restaurant serving top quality food. Will be back for more!
