A really excellent meal and evening. You’d never know it had just been open for three months. Great atmosphere. Friendly staff and great cocktails. One of the best most flavoursome meals I’ve had in a long time. Just as the Old Bridge was before it changed hands. Not surprising as many of the old team have gone across.

Updated my review. Lady on the door great. Not sure she sleeps or has time off to be fair. Always firm but fair. Conservative with the wait times as there is often a wait as its so popular. Usually sat in 10-15 max.Great carvery but now with beef dripping roasties taking them up a notch! . Always had good service from the waiting staff. What's not to like.Always highly recommend.

Really nice zoo to visit. Grate farm shop and a nice little cafe onsite as well as a kids play area/park. My wife, son, and I, all got in for £5 each, so its realy cheep. Would recommend this zoo for a day out

Cracking traditional pub with over 500 years of history. Excellent Ales and a good selection of beverages for all tastes. Regular live music and a good atmosphere make this a must visit when in Huntingdon.

Nice pub right on the High Street, nice atmosphere with great staff and food/drinks. We would definitely come back and recommend to people

A lovely find! This cafe is a lovely place to get sandwiches and healthier alternatives to eat. They offer a huge variety of sandwiches, jacket potatoes, toasties, salads and more. The food was a reasonable price and the staff work so hard behind the counter. The food was lovely!

Great food. Had moving mountains burger cooked perfectly and crisp chips. Simple but done well. That's what good pub food is wotha good pint obviously. Staff very friendly. Would recommend.

Put in a mass order on Saturday afternoon - over 30 meals. All ready on time, all labelled, and ALL GOOD.

My wife and I have just had a great Sunday carvery, I finished with the Chefs homemade Mango cheesecake which was outstanding 👌. The staff here are helpful, friendly and very polite making for a great experience.

A surprise 70s birthday party for my wife, the staff where very helpful and friendly, couldn't do enough for us, food ,music was very good, every one who attended the party where very happy, no one complain, 😀 😊 Once again for the staff who where working that Saturday night 22 March 2025, a big thank you from Barbara, and Michael Gentle 😀 👍

The pub has regained its warmth, charm, and sense of community that had been missing for a while. You can tell they genuinely care — not just about the place itself, but about the people who walk through the door. The atmosphere is welcoming, friendly, and relaxed. Whether you’re popping in for a quiet pint, a catch-up with friends, or one of the regular events they’ve brought in, you always feel like you’re part of something. The food and drink offering has improved massively — quality, consistency, and great value across the board. Brian and Claire have brought energy and passion back into the Waggon and Horses. It feels like a proper local again — the kind of pub you actually look forward to visiting. Keep up the great work!
