Tracey went above and beyond during service. My son was choking on sausages and I came over from the queue to carvery and Tracey was already there seeing to him. Very friendly amazing waitress! Very attentive. We was all extremely impressed!

We had a Friday booking for 15 people Stared off good starters came out all at the same time ,some were cold ! Then kids meals came out was ok then waited over an hour for all the adult meals which didn't come so we could all eat together ,1 steak that took at least an hour and a half ,the gravy had to be sent back twice it came out with ice in it never seen that before ! Another one of us had the burger with a hole in the middle it looked like someone had just tore it up Chicken was rubbery ,the food over all was unpleasant, the waiter josh did all he could to help out and even he said that the kitchen staff were not up to scratch with there cooking ,I have also emailed them with a complaint and heard nothing ,I would definitely not recommend this place for food at all .

Sunday carvery, rung to book. Was told not taking bookings. Arrived to be told an hour wait which is expected. Group of 7 then had to be split up. Carvery was luke warm. Veg was like rubber. Stuffing was like mash potato. Poor food.

Very good to dine and play. Darcie was very friendly, polite and helpful when taking our order in the play area. The breakfast was good and affordable, light bites could be extended to sandwiches and baguettes, but other than that good value for money.

Went last minute for carvery which was very nice. Josh and his team were very friendly, welcoming and helpful

Tracey noticed our son’s macaroni arrived burnt on top and before we could say anything she said I’ll get that replaced for you. Thank you

I had the carvery, my partner had the Halumi salad. Both meals were enjoyed and hit the spot.

We hadn’t made a booking , but rang and spoke to a lovely, professional lady called Sue. Sue went over and above to help me and my party of 7. We were seated and ordered our food, which was superb! Heather another team member also assisted me when I had a slight issue with my order. Heather liaised with the manager and sorted me out a complimentary desert and couldn’t have been any more professional and kind. I am extremely grateful to both Sue and Heather and we most definitely be returning as overall the food and service were outstanding. Please pass on our thanks.

Katie has been super efficient at all time. As well as helpful and efficient t all times supporting my family and children. Went above and beyond to give us the best customer service.

Met with family for Christmas celebrations, most of us had carvery, a couple ordered from the menu. All food was tasty, served hot and value for money. Will definitely be back soon as it’s a good halfway mark for family coming from London and Lincolnshire.

I came here with my family for my birthday. We were greeted nicely and shown to our table . Only had to wait 15 minutes for our main meals and they were very nice as were the desserts. Friendly staff a very nice experience Will be visiting again in the future ☺️

We have been here quite a few times and we love the atmosphere. The staff are always very friendly and so helpful. Our server today was Tracy and she was so lovely and extremely helpful, even going so far, as to take our dessert orders at our table. Her outlook is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble for her to do. Tracy was putting on lots of hats, server, waitress, table clearer, hostess at the door but nothing was too much trouble, she was still smiling all the time. Tracy is exceptionally good at her job, she cares about her customers which makes us want to come again. A huge thank you to Tracy.

I was recommended to head to this place and may I say even though I went around 2pm it didn't disappoint! The meat was succulent everything was cooked properly the roast potatoes weren't dry like they are in a lot of places everything was just delicious and it was a good price too! I'll definitely be going back this time with company

A busy Christmas Day here and the staff did a wonderful job. Yes there was a wait to be seated, yes the service was slower than ideal but no one working on the day can be faulted for any of this (I personally think senior management over sell the number of covers). Well done all.

Two members of staff, one on the door and one waitress who served the food were both rude and had an attitude problem. Would not return, and only go if you’re okay being spoken to like rubbish or like a child. Not what you expect when you’re going out and paying for a meal. I’ve worked in hospitality and would never speak or treat customers this way. Another note, is that if you’re serving food you should have your hair tied back.

Been here a few times and never had a problem. Food is to a good standard and tastes very nice. All at a good price as well. And the staff are all nice and friendly. Would highly recommend for people to go if they want some good pub food.

It's a pub . Didn't go there for the food. People are nice and professional. Came around again. Asked for a rare stake, they brought it burned on the sides and medium well done inside ....Please think about changing this dish .The soup was good.

Was a amazing place to have a dinner date, enjoyed a lovely extra large mixed grill and a mahoosive dessert, won a bet if i could finish it in one sitting, I am now currently £20 richer and fuller than a plus sized chick at an all you can eat buffet. Our waiter millie was fantasic with food and drink service and was keen to find out about our betting contest Coming back for seconds for definite.

We had a lovely meal. Two of us had the carvery, which had a lot of vegetables to choose from. The Yorkshire puddings were huge and really nice. We also had gammon and chips, which was cooked really well and the steaks were tender. The staff are lovely and friendly. The atmosphere was lively.

Had a lovely Xmas ‘do’ at the Hartford Mill. There were around 40 of us, all very loud and full of festive cheer. We were looked after by a lady called Nanna and she did a fantastic job all by herself. She was calm, friendly, chatty and a joy to be around. Every business needs a Nanna! I hope she gets a great Christmas bonus - she thoroughly deserves it.

Supper friendly staff, large kids play area. Went for the large cavery, turkey, beef, and gammon, with all the sides. So full after, as I ate way too much. Highly recommend. Cannot wait to summer to sit outside and have a beer.

We went on a Sunday and had the carvery. There was a few of us and had a nice big table. And the carvery was absolutely delicious. No dry turkey in sight. Juicy meat, crispy roasties and a huge choice of veg. Definitely recommend and a good price too!

On a Monday No staff to greet use, stood waiting for over 7mins could see no staff round the dining area, when staff arrived we were told to find our own seats. Very nice young lad working the bar. Pleasant carver found that most of the foods would of been to cold to be a nice meal but for carver putting out fresh hot gravey. This is only my opinion but probably won't try Carvery again.

Excellent service from Nana tonight for our Christmas meal. Everything went smoothly despite being a large group, the food was excellent and we had a great time. Only area for improvement was the parsnips which were a bit too crispy for our group. Thanks to all the staff for being so attentive!

We decided to eat here for my husband's birthday, the food is really great, very tasty and delicious, the prices are reasonable despite being so clean and delicious, thank you very much to Tracy who helped me a lot for my birthday, everything was great.

Usually the meals are really nice here but sadly I went for a carvery few days ago, no vegetarian dish was prepared as advertised, had to wait for it to be cooked , vegetables were hard , woukd he nice to offer nut roasts on hand fir vegetarians

Beautiful location,, great for the kids as there is a soft play and service was fantastic. To top it off, I forgot I paid a £10 deposit for the table and I got a call 2 days later to refund me the £10. Very much appreciated and we will definitely be back!

Terrible food... Ordered a double beef burger which came with some terrible looking soggy cheese sauce. The burger was a dry pile of crap, the bun was so dry it was falling apart, the beef patties were dry and disgusting, it was the worst "burger" I've ever seen in my life, I had to leave the whole burger on the plate, £14 waisted. Kids meals came in massive portions but the food was terrible as well, pizzas were shocking, you can tell it was cooked from frozen and very poor quality and it wasn't even sliced on the plate..

This was a birthday treat from a friend and very pleased all round. Thank you.

I was able to locate a table, order my food and drink very easily. I had the carvery which has a good selection of meat and vegetables. The dining room was very clean and when tables were emptied the cleaning happened very quickly.

Went for a family meal had a table booked for 630,pm. We arrived about 520pm so could take my granddaughter in the wacky warehouse which was awesome and not too busy about 6pm I went to speak to someone in the restaurant to see if we could possibly have a table earlier and they arranged one straight away for us which was greatly appreciated.we all had carvery which was lovely and my granddaughter had food from the kids menu which she enjoyed all in all lovely experience will be back very soon
